TOG24 stands for “Truth Over Glory Everyday”. We’re not about the “Glory” side of the outdoors; Planting flags on mountains or skiing down sheer ice walls, we’re about the “True” outdoors that everybody can be involved with; walking with friends to the pub or skiing with the family to a bar. Based in the Spen Valley town of Heckmondwike, initially produced footwear, branched into sports bags and football kits in the 70's before finally landing on waterproofs and fleeces. As the brand grew in popularity skiwear and casual clothing were added. We manufactured all our clothing in the head office we still own today, however, to ensure we stayed competitive and to keep our doors open, it was with a heavy heart that we began producing overseas. Whatever the product was, it had to fit into our motto... TOG24 are a product of our location in the Spen Valley, Yorkshire; we try to do things right, we don’t believe in the marketing hype that’s out there and everything we make represents quality and value for your hard earned pound. And while we no longer manufacture here (that stopped in 2010) all our products are still proudly designed in the Spen Valley TOG24 began with the factory shop in Heckmondwike. Originally carpeted in off cuts of fleece and selling seconds and ends of lines out of cardboard boxes, the store did so well that we stopped trying to sell TOG24 to other people’s shops and set up our own chain of stores. TOG24 now sells from over 60 outlets across Britain and Ireland, (and for the biggest bargains you can still visit us at our original factory shop in Heckmondwike).

McArthur Glen York

Having had a previous positive experience at the York McArthur Glen branch of Tog 24 we returned yesterday. The assistant, an older lady, was abrupt & unhelpful to the point where I turned round & said 'we'll go somewhere else' & walked out.

Visited the store in The Livingston…

Visited the store in The Livingston Outlet Centre to purchase a jacket for my partner. Very friendly and helpful staff who took the time to help find the right jacket for her as she wanted something waterproof but not too heavy.

Lovely lady on the tills

Ambleside Store - Lovely lady on the tills - this was the last stop on my walk around Ambleside wanted a long jacket with good waterproof & wind ratings this was the only shop which had what i wanted.

Bargains in Skipton

Saw the sale in the Skipton shop while on a visit with my family. Found a bargain for myself but was chuffed to find a coat and t-shirt for my grandson, too. Staff member was very helpful and friendly. Bonus is to get my grandson his first TOG24 clothing items. Result!

I had a fantastic experience at TOG24…

I had a fantastic experience at TOG24 at their branch in Ambleside, thanks to Jason. Even though the shop was busy, he went out of his way to help me find the right size gilet.

He took the time to check availability and made sure I got exactly what I needed, all while staying friendly and professional under pressure. It really stood out how dedicated he was to helping customers, despite how hectic things were. He tracked down the correct size and arranged for it to be sent to me in Suffolk. The gilet is perfect and excellent quality.

Great service like this makes a big difference—I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks again, Jason!

It’s rare to come across service this attentive and friendly these days.

Good experience in Clacton Tog24

Visited the Clacton Tog24 shop at Clacton Common and wasn't expecting to find gym wear but was very happy to find some. Staff were lovely and recommended I try a size down as well since some previous people had said some bits come up a little big. They were correct and I bought a size smaller then I normally would.

It's got to be Orange.

I needed a light but warm jacket with good size zip pockets. The Feizor fits the bill. I always carry my phone and wallet so secure pockets are very important to me. The added poacher pockets inside are a real bonus for dog treats and poo bags.
What an all round great jacket and I love the orange colour.
