Just received a bracelet ordered online from Tomfoolery in London, it is absolutely gorgeous, good quality, very well presented and packaged, they were extremely helpful when I asked questions before purchase. I would highly recommend, especially for something a little bit different
I was seriously considering placing an order with this company for a necklace I really like, but their approach to consumer rights has completely put me off. When I read about their returns policy for a made-to-order item, it says it would be non-refundable.
What they fail to acknowledge is that under UK consumer law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), customers do have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving goods purchased online, unless the item is custom-made or personalised. Just being made to order or temporarily out of stock does not exempt them from this requirement.
It’s disappointing to see a business misrepresenting the law in this way. Their refusal to respect basic consumer rights raises red flags, and I won’t be placing an order with them because of it.
I had a helix piercing that was pierced ‘wonky’ and I was told (from london to Paris even!) that I’d never get a hoop earring in it….which was very annoying as that’s what I always wanted (not a stud)

I am extremely disappointed as most of the jewellery purchased from Metiet Tomfoolery, all earrings, have tarnished and gone a pinky, coppery colour. In fact one earring chain has a half inch section that is almost black. They're not cheap and I have contacted TomFOOLery for their comments and was told to clean with toothpaste and buff or I could send to them to clean at my expense with £10 for them to post back. I will not be buying from them again.
