We found Tom Howley after we had sampled the unimaginative service of all of the common names who over promise and underdeliver, and that was only at the design phase. We knew what we wanted but were struggling to find someone who could help us.
We worked with Alistair from the branch in Beaconsfield, after a site visit by him in the depths of winter, in the midst of a power cut, we showed around by candlelight.
He painstakingly guided us through the drawings and animated walkthrough of what our new, 2 rooms into 1 kitchen could look like. Together with the skill of the design team, they blew us out of the water, which we were not expecting. They had thought of everything. It was unexpectedly do we do it or not question, not can we change things. Alistair had really listened to us and worked well with the design team to deliver us the outstanding transformation we had hoped we would get but didn’t think likely.
In the pre delivery phase, Paul worked painlessly with us to make sure that all of our measurements and design were exact and from point of final measurement to commencement of installation we only had to wait 7 weeks – outstanding service.

Sean who led the installation on site, put us at ease straight away when we realised, we were having 3 full vans of kitchen and appliances arriving. He said, “you’d be pretty disappointed with your investment if it all came in one van!!” 😊 Sean & Jake continued to progress with our installation with many questions, queries, and decisions along with way, always met with a positive response, with the best solution and working with out team of electricians, builders, and plumbers.
Within 2 weeks, we had a finished kitchen of immense quality and workmanship, finished by hand painted units and stunning quartz work tops. It has without doubt transformed our home. It’s not often you see a plan become reality, this did, with bells on.
A tiny point of improvement would be, the details of plans and pre work for other trades, could be more accurate.
Would we use Tom Howley and our team again? 100% outstanding product quality, outstanding service, thanks to the whole team who worked with us to deliver our dream kitchen, we’d change nothing!

I cannot recommend these guys enough!! Great service and after care with almost same day turnaround for a quick adjustment needed to our doors.

An outstanding experience with Michaela from the start of our kitchen replacement project. Her attentive listening skills and supreme patience were outstanding as we collaborated over several iterations of her initial designs. Once they were finalised the installation team took over - our installers Nick/Dave/Terry/Stan were brilliant, flexible and of the highest quality you would expect from a TH kitchen. The end result a kitchen we love for good value for money... cooking has become a pleasure!

I've had an amazing experience with Tom Howley, especially with my designer Sandra. My kitchen was a very difficult space to design, but Sandra was able to make it work so well and I love the design she created. The kitchen originally seemed quite expensive, however as everything is included it has worked out to be great value for money. Thank you for making it such a good experience.

We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen, fitted earlier this year. We were very impressed by the quality and construction of the units, evident when they arrived as carcasses, and continue to be entirely happy with the kitchen now it is finished and we are using the space. The service and support we received from everyone involved was exemplary and played an important part throughout the whole experience of planning and installation. I would particularly like to mention Priti Singhai who worked with us to achieve a design we are extremely pleased with. She listened carefully to our comments after the initial ideas were produced and adapted this to a design we are delighted with. We would never have thought of doing some of the things she included in the design but we can see how well they all work. As I have already mentioned Barry and Chris Wright, the kitchen fitters who are clearly very experience and skilled, did a fantastic job installing it all for us and I cannot speak more highly of them. Isobel Laboure not only did a brilliant job on the final paint, but also taught me a few things which unfortunately means I have now been nominated to do all future house decorating! Richard Coom was also a pleasure to work with supporting us throughout the install. As you can see the people involved in this project had a big impact on the entire process and I cannot express how positive an impact this had/has on our view of the Tom Howley organisation. They are all a credit to the company. I will have no hesitation in recommending Tom Howley to anyone who asks about the company. I am now a huge fan.

We were delighted with the initial fitting of the kitchen But the after sales team have been amazing with the help of Tony Bennett the kitchen fitter and the painter Greg both of whom have been excellent
But the outstanding individual who has made a huge impression on us has been the Installation Manager
Ty Willet's who has been there every step of the way to provide a top class after care package with is very rare

Recently contacted Tom Howley, Tunbridge Wells, four years after our beautiful kitchen was fitted. We received an amazingly personal and prompt response from the staff, including Tim Smith, the original designer. We are still enjoying the brilliant utility room he somehow managed to create from nowhere! The painted units have worn incredibly well, but we were left touch up paint just in case. Tim even managed to include a much loved butcher’s block into the plan. The kitchen itself is part of an open plan room and so had to be functional but also sometimes fade into the background through subtle lighting. Thanks for your continued brilliant service.

Tom Howley designed a kitchen that went far beyond anything that we could of imagined. The quality of the cabinetry, and the fine detail that went into the kitchen is incredible, it truly is a once in a lifetime product, and the sheer quality of such a bespoke, top line kitchen is hard to put into words, the detail witnessed at the installation stage made the whole process even more stunning.
We went through the Esher showroom, and from the the initial consultation to the incredible after service it has been second to none. The showroom Manager Odette provided an incredible level of service and expertise, with guidance that made the process much easier. We were lucky enough to speak and work with Chris and Stella the designers who came up with solutions to any design challenge.

I cannot recommend this product and in particular this showroom highly enough, for an exceptional quality and second to none experience.

Designing a kitchen can be one of the most exciting yet challenging home improvement projects, and it's easy to make costly mistakes if you’re not careful. I recently had my kitchen designed by Suzie Francis from Winchester, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! Suzie demonstrated exceptional creativity, patience, and attention to detail throughout the process, turning my ideas into a beautifully functional and stylish space while keeping it within budget.

However, one lesson I learned is how important it is to be able to visualize the design clearly before moving forward. We initially struggled to translate the concept into reality, which led to some misalignment—a frustrating drawback when you're making a significant investment. This is a common issue, as people often underestimate the importance of fully understanding how the design will look and function in their space.

Thankfully, installation manager Graham Perkins was absolutely marvellous in making adjustments during the installation, ensuring everything came together perfectly in the end. His expertise and dedication were invaluable in turning the design into a cohesive and polished reality.

The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is another crucial factor. In this case, it was outstanding—everything feels durable, premium, and thoughtfully built to last. From the smooth finishes to the precision in the fittings (Matt Green), it's clear that Tom Howley only used the best products. Every element of the kitchen, from the cabinets to the countertops, blends practicality with elegance seamlessly, and final paiting to make the showroom quality.

The entire process, from design consultation to installation, was professional and timely. For anyone considering a new kitchen, I would highly recommend Suzie for her ability to balance form and function with impeccable design to fit. However, my one of advice would be to align on every detail, invest time in reviewing design, and ensure the design truly matches your expectations and alignment to avoid any costly surprises later.

We got our kitchen from the Wigmore street showroom and worked with the designer Sandra Tabet. We hesitated for some time about which kitchen company to go with as they are quite a few that specialise in Shaker styles and are priced similarly. It was Sandra's design and willingness to go the extra mile that ultimately convinced us to go for Tom Howley. We are so glad that we did as we LOVE our new kitchen.

We were adamant that we didn't want a cookie cutter kitchen, we wanted to put our own spin on it and we got exactly what we were after. The special details we chose make our space look so high end. We were working with quite an awkward L-shaped space, but Sandra came up with ingenious ways to make the best out of it. She put so much time and effort in the details and helping us make each decision. The final result is stunning. We're really grateful to her as it felt like she truly cared about making us happy and coming up with the perfect design.

We are so pleased with all the decisions we ended up making on the kitchen. We did have some minor hiccups with the installation, but the fitters / painters just came back until we were completely satisfied, which we were very grateful for. When you're paying for a high-end kitchen you want it to be perfect and our really is now.

A new kitchen is a big investment so I spoke with multiple local/regional companies. Only two companies offered to come to our house and talk through our requirements. Of these two, only Lucy from Tom Howley in Bristol came up with a novel design which accommodated all of my requests. She just got us. Buying from Tom Howley is extremely process driven and that means you can see exactly where you are from start to finish. It’s very organised. The fitting team were fabulous on site - positive, good humoured, skilled and professional. Alongside Helen, our installation manager, the team made sure that the kitchen met our expectations and more. If there was a curveball (the unexpected happens!) the team pulled together to come up with a good and practical solution every time. Having a dedicated installation manager means you always have a “fixer”. I am a detail driven person but Helen and the fitting team took every request with good grace and my kitchen is just what I wanted. Dubious that on-site door painting was going to be anything other than a pain, Joe took a decent finish and elevated it to near perfection. There’s nothing that I would change, not only with the kitchen itself, but the entire experience. Everyone we dealt with provided a great service. If we had to do it again I’d go straight back to Tom Howley.

My kitchen is stunning and has surpassed my expectations.Unfortunately,I had a couple of problems with some appliances ,but Jack and Nadia at the Solihull branch went above and beyond to resolve things for me.They are a shining example of what customer service is all about.

My search for a kitchen for a high end client ended at Tom Howley in Wigmore Street where we met Sandra Tabet. From day one her professionalism was superb. She designed a beautiful kitchen, the most important thing was that she listened and fully understood our requirement

We are over the moon with our new Kitchen from Tom Howley Cambridge. The whole process was clear and efficient, our designer Priti was dedicated and attention to detail was outstanding. Top quality fitting and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly recommend.

We visited Tom Howley early last year after exploring several other kitchen companies, and we were immediately impressed. The quality of their products stood out, but what truly made the difference was the depth of knowledge our designer, Richard, demonstrated. He knew every detail, down to the screws, and took the time to design our kitchen around our vision. He carefully tailored each aspect to suit our needs—bespoke is truly the keyword here, as everything in our kitchen was custom-made to fit perfectly.

Richard visited the site multiple times to ensure his drawings were precise. His attention to detail was extraordinary, and it was clear he invested significant time and care into designing our kitchen. He advised us on the products and placement of everything, guiding us through each stage of the project. When it came time for installation, everything was right on schedule. The fitter arrived early to accept the delivery of each component, assembling and positioning every unit with care.

Even after the main installation, a finishing painter came out to complete the final touches, spending a full week perfecting every detail. The attention to detail and dedication to quality at Tom Howley is truly exceptional, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result.

The company listened very carefully and patiently to our requirements, and constructed their designs accordingly. They also explained thoroughly the processes through which we would go, and adhered to these.

Tom Howley did a marvellous job in fabricating cabinets for our one bedroom flat in Guildford. The kitchen included storage cabinets as well as enclosures for the refrigerator and other built in appliances. The reception room included a TV cabinet, open displace shelves, numerous upper storage cabinets with lower drawers, and a small refrigerator enclosure. The bedroom included clothes storage and vanity cabinets.
Miles and staff (Ruth) were a pleasure to work with in all stages of this rather complicated project which exceeded even our highest expectations, and I would highly recommend them for any size project.

Sandra Tabet had a real challenge when designing my kitchen as such a tiny space. However with her vision, patience and expertise she came up with the most brilliant layout and now that it is finished, I couldn’t be more thrilled. Not only does it look incredible and super stylish, but it is practical, easy to work in and I have all the storage, workspace and appliances I need. Thank you Sandra; you’re a superstar designer!!
