We reached out to Tommy when my wife and I were at our most fragile and precarious in our marriage. Tommy wanted us to buy his $10000 package, when we said we couldn't afford that, he tried pressuring and guilting us into going further into debt to pay his fee. Even comparing his program to a Lambo and how that is worth the cost.
When we held firm that we weren't going to go further into debt (more marriage strain!) for his program he dropped us like a bag of rocks. Which is fine, he can chose who he works with and the prices he charges, no issue with that.
3 months later he contacts my wife saying that "the Lord worked on his heart" about his prices. Hmmm, maybe your program isn't worth $10k and no one was buying...it's still $500/month btw.
I called him back to tell him he was a snake in the grass and rejected us at our most vulnerable and to lose our phone numbers. I also told him I hope he doesn't have any more opportunities to have influence on hurting marriages. He "rebuked me in the name of Jesus" and hung up on me.
Run, don't walk from this guy!
