Shia’s amazing leave you smiling…

Shia’s amazing leave you smiling service keeps me coming back. Now that I have a membership, I have to use different lane and no interaction with Shia😒. I go on a bad day and feel better when I left due to her upbeat attitude! Now just going when car is extremely dirty! No more turning my frown upside down! That part sucks!

All good until there is damage.

Tommy's will not claim any fault if there is damage to your car (just Google it!). Almost 3 months ago I had paint taken off my car during a car wash. I reached out to Tommy's as soon as I got home and noticed the damage (10 minutes later) with photo evidence. Finally weeks later the manager told me he saw my car go into the wash clearly with no damage but could not see it clearly as it went out. Not a huge problem... He had that part and I had photos, timestamped. He said it would be covered. New management came in the day before I was to get the estimate and I had to start from scratch. I was told their wash doesn't damage cars and there is no way it took off the paint. I asked for the video they had 3 separate times. I eventually was told they, conveniently, didn't still have that video. Their insurance adjuster pretty much told me today, yes, almost 3 months later, that since there weren't other cars that had paint taken off that same day, then it was not Tommy's fault it happened to mine. Beware if using this car wash!! If anything happens to your car Tommy's will deny any responsibility.

Worst place ever my car was damaged the…

Worst place ever my car was damaged the mirrors where torn off by the machine the general manager by the name of Jose Vazquez is literally the worst person to manage this place very unprofessional he asked me multiple times to go get him an estimate to waste my time never answered calls or texts after he gave me his number and it showed that he read them he gave me his personal email instead of a company email so that his company doesn’t see the conversations and excuses he says time and time again when I went in person he would run upstairs and tell his associates to give me an excuse as to why he could not meet with me he lied time and time again the car was not fixed and he terminated my monthly subscription on his own will when I asked anyone else from Tommy’s express corporation they said that he should not of gave me his information but per policy states that contact from any Tommy’s associate should be through company email he also stated to me that aftermarket parts are not covered no matter what per his “policy” yet Tommy express corporate office stated they cover any damages occurring to the car if it was truly from Tommy’s express car wash be very weary of this location and at the shady general manager JOSE VAZQUEZ.

Horrible experience - Pinellas Park

Horrible experience. Machines broke my side view mirror off of my truck. They took my information down and said I would need to speak with the manager. Fine. Spoke with said manager and he insists it is my fault. I explained a little care and employees actually following procedure would have prevented this. I am not an expert on how their setup works. Now, its my problem unapologetically. There was no listening to reason. BEWARE.

SCRATCHES!!

The integrity of your vehicle will be compromised. The new Suburban I purchased exhibits numerous scratches on both sides. Had I taken the time to review feedback beforehand, this unfortunate outcome could have been avoided.

Tommy Express in Rockford/Loves Park IL

Our Tommy Express in the Rockford/Loves Park IL area opened in late 2023. Was happy to learn that monthly programs were offered at a flat rate. The idea of cleaning salt off the body and under body at least once a week through the winter months is a big deal in northern states. The APP lane is a really good idea, pull to the gate, the license plate reader recognizes your a paid monthly member then up goes the gate. From there it's off to the wash tunnel.
A couple minor start-up problems were experienced early on but those seem to be history.
Was thinking I'd only do this through the winter but it's working so well I'll certainly continue on through the year.

The car wash damages your car

I have had their membership (Alamo Ranch location) for nearly a year. Early on the machine snapped my entire rear windshield wiper off. The owner was nice and paid for the repair and gave me a coupon code for a free month. The second time it happened he had his minion deal with it and all she offered was to fix it with a spare part they had at the location. Why do you keep spare windshield wiper parts that fit my car and also NO I’m not trusting you to repair my car. After some back and forth with the minion who was rude I opted to cancel since all they offered for a broken windshield wiper so a spare part in the bottom of the desk drawer. Too bad they treat their members this way. I also had the highest package. I asked many in my community fb group and they had similar experiences of damages. Not a good business model.

Largo,Florida car wash

We went to Tommy’s express car wash in Largo,Florida Quone was the person who helped us today and he was the most energetic,kind and helpful person. Everyone should strive to act like him and he was truly a very big help, we will definitely be revisiting.

Tommy Club car wash on wil Clayton in…

Tommy Club car wash on wil Clayton in Atascocita will not refund you if account is on pause there is no warning of it going back on active. Your better off canceling the membership then starting over once you want to reactivate it. As soon as they charged my card I immediately called to request refund a remind them the weather was still horrible an I did not want to activate my membership yet. Was told manager has to approve my request. Well he declined my request an stated I could use my membership till next month. I explained I did not want my membership activated yet cause it’s freezing outside yet was told no refund would be given despite I called the day the charges me. I had no idea that it automatically would charge me if it was on pause. So despite my misunderstanding it didn’t matter. So hope they enjoy my $34 an I will not ever be using them again nor will I recommend them to anyone in town. Which I know a lot of people an I do not appreciate shady customer service.

Lying Scamsters

Promised a refund of unauthorized charges to a credit card account. They said they would do so and cancel my account. I never had an 'account'. I simply bought an unlimited wash gift card for one month using said credit card. They have NOT refunded charges and I've now paid out over $ 100 to Tommy's for three not very good car washes. The nearest Tommy's location is several hundred miles away from me. Beware of these lying scamsters!

went to the tommys on Montwood in el paso TX . to buy a couple works 3 month gift cards, and to wash my jeep with a free code given for Christmas. i asked about the buy 2 cards and get 1 free,, i had passed 6 posted signs saying that on the way there. he said in a nasty tone
"WE DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE" i said you're still advertising it. he said he didn't care, NO MORE. what a total ass, I dam sure didn't buy any gift cards,, and I gave him the free code card I got for Christmas for 1 wash. and he refused it saying I had to go to the place on montanna street,, that is miles away. now trapped in the drive up lane I asked how do I get out. he said pay for a wash or drive across the sidewalk area. total complete dumb-ass NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE OF TOTALLY ARROGANT SMART ASSES. too many really good car washes in el paso and TOMMY'S IS DAM SURE NOT ONE OF THEM

Terrible experience

Use the coupon for a free ceramic wash, got charged $18 to my credit card anyway. Best part is the car is still dirty and their wash tore off my windshield wiper.

Broke My Tire

This place broke my tire, nearly got me in an accident on the track. And then blamed me for the incident and refused to fix my tire. It was only a $50 fix and I had been going here for nearly a year and they wouldn't even budge on giving me a free month or anything. This place has the most incompetent management I've ever seen in a business. I waited MONTHS to get this incident resolved. Was super patient, and then treated like sidewalk trash because Mr Manager was too busy to deal with a normal paying customer like me.

If you want to go somewhere where they actually care about you and your car. Then do not go here. They will destroy your vehicle and do nothing to help and then say its "your fault."

Customer service was so bad

Customer service was so bad. First time going, attendant was not helpful in explaining what needed to be done. Ended up yelling and flicking me off. Very rude!! I'll never be going back!!!!

They messed up my engine and Whitney Wehring refusing to pay

On 4/15/2023 between after 4-5pm I brought my vehicle like I have numerous times to get a wash from Tommy’s terrific. After I sat down and they started on my vehicle I went to Miguel to avoid spraying water directly into my front grills to avoid the intake filters getting soaked with water to Miguel Mundo. He told the detail manager before they made a second pass at spraying down the car. They seemed to not listen to his direction and continued to spray water directly at the car. Then again a 3rd time on a high pressure
stream a few minutes later. They told me my car was done after about 45 minutes but when I got in my car, I had a check engine light and car was idling fought. I immediately reported it to Miguel and he advised me he would speak to Whitney Wehring(his supervisor). After no call return call/text after almost 48 hours I came by to speak to someone in person. We review the video it was sprayed 3 times. 1 to presoak which didn’t seem to get direct contact by much. Then after being warned they sprayed it again the second time for over 7 seconds. Whitney assured me it was on a low setting and not on high pressure which is a stream setting but in the camera footage shows the 3rd time was direct high pressure stream. The filters are very visible because they are a bright blue in color and cannot be missed. I took my car down the road to EurAuto to get a diagnostic. I was told the fuel injectors got wet and stuck open which fouled the plugs. The repairs currently are quoted at $1,767.09. From a $65 Carwash (which I still tipped $10) I am at a lost for words because before leaving Whitney told me she was the owner and that she would not be doing anything to resolve the damages. So now I am having to spend almost $2k to repair my vehicle due to their negligence.
