I have been using Tomplay almost daily since December 2024 and I love it more each time I use it!

Here's why
-large catalog of music, with new selections added regularly
-great variety of music genres, including scales and etudes
-their willingness to take suggestions for music to add to the catalog
-the ability to choose the score (one select instrument, of the entire score)
-the quality of the audio tracks
-the ability to choose the accompaniment track (acc. only, with the select instrument, select instrument only, metronome, or none at all)
-the annotation tool
-the looping tool for working out difficult passages
-tempo control
-visual fingerings can be shown right in the score
-tuner and pitch control of recorded accompaniment
-cursor that moves with the tempo of the score
-ability to adjust latency to synchronize the audio accompaniment with your playing
-recording ability for analysis or for posterity
-ability to print a physical copy of the score
-the ability to organize downloaded scores into folders and subfolders
-customer service... they really listen to their customers.

Besides the amazing musical capabilities that Tomplay offers, I continue to be impressed with the thorough, complete, and prompt customer service. I had an unusual audio issue that seemed to only manifest itself with the use of the app. Their tech department offered multiple solutions for me in a detailed manner with quick follow-up. The issue is resolved and Tomplay is the best!

I tried Tomplay at some point and had a positive experience. But my interest in music subsided and I no longer used it, and eventually forgot about it. So I was surprised when I was charged for an annual renewal. I contacted Tomplay and they graciously refunded the subscription. Someday I will return to music and Tomplay will be the first service I use.

I had a billing issue, and the customer service rep was very professional. All of my issues were resolved in a matter of minutes. A very positive experience.

This company does not notify customers of upcoming date for renewal as most do, and then they have a policy that you have to cancel 24 hours before your subscription is up, so you can’t see the charges and cancel on the renewal date. It is not easy to figure out how to cancel on their website, and when I e-mailed the company, the first 2 were ignored. The third was answered with “we don’t give refunds because we are a small company.” I was the sole proprietor of a small business for over 30 years, and this is just bad business practice. There are other programs that do what Tomplay does.

TomPlay has such incredible customer service, and is such a wonderful site!

I’m so impressed by the number of things I can do with the music I have selected. Play with piano, and sometimes orchestral, accompaniment. Change the speed. Silence specific instruments. Record myself, either audio or video, and share it with friends.
So much on offer.

Loving it so far. Coming back to the piano after 30+ years, I find it easy to use with lots of great songs I love to play.

Being able to listen to a song, play along at a chosen speed, and see the visual representation for very high and very low notes is especially helpful, as it's harder to read those notes.

On the admin side of things, I needed some help with a discount that was being offered, and they were very responsive and helpful and promptly got it sorted for me.

I'm 64 and I just start playing drums 2 years ago. Using Tomplay help me a lot because I can play my favorite musics in a very easy way Reading and listening at the same time, and choosing the right speed on specific parts that I can play in loop. Now I'm playing in a band and I wanted to thank Tomplay for their good tool.

Excellent customer service and great for learners of all ages!

After a gap of 50+ years (passed Grade 4) I restarted the piano, and discovered Tomplay. What a wonderful resource! I'm not into Pop (though tempted by some ancient favourites) but Tomplay's classical repertoire is lovely. Even learning the notes is fun - following their slowed tempo, then gradually speeding it up, and finding you've got there.
I think Tomplay's best ingredient is the orchestral accompaniment (slow movements only for me!) playing through my piano speakers. Now, after my request a few weeks ago, they have included the Shostakovitch 2nd piano concerto, and I'm playing the beautiful Andante.
When I see old friends doing Sudoku as brain-training, I think how much better to have discovered Tomplay!

I've done a lot of research and in my opinion Tomplay is the best out there; not only value for the money but the offerings - selection of songs, types of songs, orchestra, arrangements, offering for different instruments, different levels, promotions etc. Can it get any better.....I don't think so. I am just having trouble syncing Google play for the App but that is just me!! Any issues?? They respond quickly if we have questions. Tomplay changed my life! (after 35 years not playing piano, I can now play and have the time of my life!!) Thanks Tomplay! You have my lifetime membership!

The app is very useful, I can find all source of the music sheet. I’m very happy with the app

I have used Tom Play for several years, mainly for guitar, bass and saxophone. It is the best online interactive music experience that I personally have come across and used. It has a wide range of instruments and music to suit all tastes. The backing tracks are of very high quality and great fun to jam along with. As a signed up customer, I get new tracks every week, which is exciting. A great learning tool and recommended for anyone wanting to improve their playing, learning a new instrument or just jamming along to the tracks.

Great app, not without its flaws but excellent content, well priced and makes a huge difference to musicians of all levels. Highly recommended.

I’ve used Tomplay now for several years and it’s the best backing track app there is. The amount of customisation you can do is excellent making learning a song really easy. The customer service is also great and I highly recommend it to musicians and soloists.

I’ve been using this website regularly in my teaching studio for the past few years, and it has become an invaluable tool. My students really enjoy listening to the music before playing, and it enhances their understanding and excitement. We often explore the student part as well as the accompaniment together, which supports their practice and learning.

The wide variety of music available makes it easy to find appropriate pieces for different levels and interests. We’re already looking forward to exploring more selections!

I honestly didn’t expect Tomplay to be this amazing and easy to use. The amount of sheet music available for such a wide range of instruments is truly impressive. As someone who’s not a professional but a confident enthusiast, I can say this app has completely re-energized my musical journey.

One of the biggest highlights for me was the outstanding customer support — not only are they quick to respond and helpful, but the Tomplay team actually listened to my request for a piece that wasn’t available just a month ago, and today it’s there! Massive respect for that kind of dedication.

If I had one suggestion, it would be this: sometimes I enjoy playing duets with the saxophone audio track in the piece, but we’re often slightly out of tune. It would be amazing to have a feature that allows pitch adjustment for each instrument’s track — not just the overall pitch of the backing, but fine-tuning the saxophone audio to match better. I always tune up before playing, but as a non-professional, my ear isn’t always perfect, so this feature would really help.

Overall, Tomplay is an incredible platform, and I’m truly grateful for what it’s brought into my musical life.

The software is easy to use and the support is outstanding.
The choice of music sheets is great especially for me playing accordion.
The annotation features has more option that I didn't know of.
Tomplay keeps adding new music sheets and features.
I have been using it for nearly a year now.
