This application is wonderful. I live in a rural area in France, where finding highly skilled non-professional musicians is a real challenge. Tomplay has been a lifesaver for me: I can practice some of the best classical pieces for clarinet or jazz pieces for saxophone every day, with recordings from real musicians. I highly recommend this application to people like me who don't have the opportunity to join an orchestra or even a small group of musicians.

Had a few difficulties setting up my account only because i am a pensioner with very limited experience of laptops , however , on contacting "Tomplay ", they were very understanding and quickly sorted my problem. Nice to work with a company who values their customers and delighted with the music score i received.

Excellent app to play along to. I've been using it since August 2024 and haven't used anything else since. There is such a wide range in every genre and difficulty levels, for many many instruments. I started on the beginners scores and in 6 months have progressed onto more difficult levels. You can also slow down the tracks which helps.

I have been using TOMPLAY for 5 years now, l came in as beginner and now l am exclusively an Advanced player on three Saxophone (Soprano, Alto and Tenor).

The features l use daily are loop, tempo control, backing tracks, and others. I did call you guys about getting some of Stings tunes, they did say they don’t do that, l said thanks, within a couple months you guys put up Roxana, Englishman in New York, It’s Probably me. Fragile, and that’s not the shape of my heart.
So l am only amateur sax player, have done some busking only to find bad weather.
Just keep doing what you do it’s great.
One small thing, when you up your software like you just did with the search function, do a update to let everyone, l did pick it up quickly, just some positive feedback, humbly Mj..

The app is very good however I don't like the underhand tactics of charging the annual subscription without giving me an option of cancelling. When I asked for cancellation this year, the rep referred me to a contract I signed 3 years ago and refused to refund me. I used to like Tomplay and recommend to others but not any more.

Lots of good musical scores with a wide variety of skill levels, but misleading and predatory business practices. They limit how many scores you can print to an insanely low number, and they’ll take your money with no remorse and offer you store credit as compensation.

Signed up to a 14 day free trial this week and instantly was charged £97. Contacted them and they started spouting about an old account I had and told me to speak to Apple who thankfully refunded me for Tom plays mistake

I signed up for the 14-day trial, decided on a song I wanted to buy but when I tried to purchase it I kept being told I would be charged $180. There was no option to purchase as a one-off.

Tom play's assistant Renée laudì was very kind she asked me to add the metronome click for me the three beats of Brahms's sonata number 1, opus 120. This service was very useful for taking the entrance exam for the two-year academic course at the conservatory in Italy. I think this is the difference in Tom play's potential to help conservatory students. I hope that this teaching aid can be extended by default to other classical pieces from the repertoire used in conservatories. This really makes the difference between Tom play and other videos that can be found on YouTube. In my opinion, Tom play should focus on paying more attention to the educational uses of the concerts required in Conservatories. The rest is music for amateurs that can also be easily found on YouTube. Tom play's strength is to put more effort into it for those study professional classic music. Thanks

The Tomplay app is remarkable. I am an adult student, just a year into learning to play the clarinet. Playing my instrument accompanied by an orchestra, or piano, or being able to play a duet, is nothing short of amazing! Having pieces of music with various skill levels allows me to take on increasingly challenging scores as my playing improves. I think that the Tomplay app is an excellent tool for learning, and the most enjoyable way to practice an instrument that I have ever experienced. I highly recommend it, and for me it is well worth the annual subscription price.

I love Tomplay and have been using it almost daily for at least three years to practice and play saxophone. There are so many ways to customize each song to suit your needs, and the variety of songs is staggering. I also appreciate the levels of difficulty that’s offered for each song. It’s all very fun & interactive.

One question- is it possible to add a repeat option? I would love to be able to set the backing track to play more than once continuously. As I improve at soloing, this would be a great feature as I could play the melody one time through and then move right into a solo over the backing track for a second time through.

I've been a Tomplay customer for at least 3 years and it has been a major tool for me to improve and enjoy playing my saxophone. They constantly are improving the site and adding more music. Keep up the great work!
