Thinking about getting composite bonding? Think twice.

My partner had her teeth done at Tooth Club less than two years ago, and the experience has been nothing short of disappointing — especially after paying £3,500 for what was supposed to be a premium treatment.

At first glance, the place looks like a modern, influencer-friendly clinic. But once you’re in, it becomes clear it’s more of a revolving-door business model than a proper dental practice. Everything is focused on social media and quick sales, not genuine patient care.

Her bonding started chipping almost immediately. There was one good dentist in the beginning who took the time to fix things properly — my partner was happy with her. But I wasn’t, because the problems should never have happened in the first place. That dentist left soon after, which says a lot about the company.

Since then, it’s been constant staff changes and zero consistency. My partner has been paying for their monthly subscription (which includes hygiene visits and support), yet they still try to claim she doesn’t have an active membership — even though the payments have never stopped. Every time, it’s a back-and-forth to prove what she’s been paying for.

Even today, we walked into the clinic and instead of a “hello” or a friendly welcome, the first thing we heard was:
“Would you like teeth whitening? It’s only £280.”
Teeth whitening that you can get for £60 elsewhere. Again, I get it — that’s business. But when it’s the first thing said to a patient who’s already had a poor experience, it shows exactly where their priorities lie.

And now, after nearly two years of issues and multiple chips, they want £200 per tooth to repair the damage — the same damage that stems from poor-quality work in the first place. During hygiene appointments, they’ve actually filed down the chips instead of fixing them properly — leaving her teeth in worse condition.

To top it off, any attempt to escalate or get proper support is pointless — calls to head office are forwarded to a South African call centre. Smart business move? Maybe. But terrible customer experience, and it shows how little care they have for UK patients.

For context, I’ve had composite bonding through a proper private dentist for over three years — zero issues.

Tooth Club needs to own their mistakes and fix what they’ve caused. Until then, we’ll keep sharing our honest experience.

Tooth club in Stevenage has changed my life. From day one I was made to feel comfortable and the whole process of my invisilign journey was explained to me in depth. My treatment was always going to be over a long period of time but with regular checks along the way I am now just one month (after 14 months already) away from completing. In such a short space of time I feel confident I no longer hold my hand over my face when I’m talking. I receive compliments from people all the time on how different I am in myself. Each and every member of the team at Stevenage have always been so supportive and interested in my progress. I would 100% recommend investing your invisilign journey with them. I will always be so thankful

Wouldn’t recommend tooth club whatsoever. Terrible communication and they try to upsell you to get you to spend more. I was completely led on by the service. I originally came to get bottom fixed retainers, was told the cost and that the consultation was free. I paid £50 for the deposit to get them done. I called the day before to ensure I was getting them done on the day. When I arrived my appointment was for initial consultation that the £50 for, this was not communicated to me as I was told it was free. Call centre was rubbish giving me the wrong info and receptionist was a nice lady but she didn’t know either and said I was getting it done on the day. Dentist then tried to upsell me to the cost of over £650 when I originally was due to pay £150 for bottom retainers, they wanted me to pay for xray, hygienists, trays etc. Really bad service and I don’t want to return

Really happy with results at Stevenage tooth club

My experience at the tooth club bishops stortford was incredible! The staff were so welcoming on my consultation.

I decided to get top 8 teeth composite bonded and it was the best decision I ever made! The compliments that I’ve received have been amazing, having the original teeth before are definitely the biggest pro to this dental procedure.

The whole process took around 8 weeks because of the whitening, which is definitely a great option if you’re getting the top done.

The overall experience has been 10/10. If you’re thinking about composite bonding or anything else please don’t doubt this company.
