Excelent tour, the Guides, the experiencies, the organization, everything was perfect

This was our fourth time using Top China Travel (TCT), and we already plan on using them again the next time our travels take us back to Asia.

In an era where it can be difficult to trust online travel agencies, TCT has proven themselves to be consistently honest and reliable. From our very first trip, they assisted with every detail, suggesting itineraries, arranging hotels, and coordinating guides and transport. Because that first experience was so seamless, we returned for a second, third, and now a fourth trip, all of which were organized with exceptional service.

Iris Wang has been instrumental in our loyalty to TCT. She is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and flexible with our requests and last-minute changes. We have come to trust her recommendations implicitly and have never been disappointed. Few agents can create such detailed, curated programs; everything is coordinated to perfection, resulting in a worry-free trip with guides who truly understand our needs.

I’ve been communicating with Sophie from Top China Travel. Initially communication was ok then I was waiting for a revised itinerary so I could proceed to book and got completely ghosted. Blue tick whatsapp messages with no reply and multiple emails ignored. Very poor service!
Seems like they only interested in American and European clientele as that is what I was initially told ! Very disappointing and discriminating.

I was a bit apprehensive about travelling to China as a solo traveller but Top China Travel made it quite simple and easy for me. The tour was very well organised. The guides were very helpful and cheerful. Everything went seamless!

I tried to plan my own trip to China, but realised I was quickly overwhelmed with the language barrier and not having logistics understanding. I then found a tour with TCT and the most amazingly helpful person named Elsa Wang assisting me all the way. It takes a lot of back and forth to customise a trip and Elsa was very prompt to answer or accommodate my requests. I am extremely grateful that Elsa has supported my solo journey to China and I hope I will have Elsa to help me plan other trips in different parts of China in the future. There is so much to explore. I highly recommend Elsa and her team.

TCT provided top class service of organizing a memorable trip for my Family to Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen and Guangzhou in January 2026. The tour involved receiving and sending us off, plus China interval travels of train and plane. All worked out like clockworks. It is difficult to fault the organizing ability and efficiency of TCT. Any queries were often responded with such promptness that , at times, I wondered if I was dealing with an AI machine. For those, who are hesitant about travelling to China for fear of different cultures, languages, payment system and internet restrictions, TCT have all the answers. TCT would ensure a trouble free and memorable China trip. We have English speaking guides in all our destinations. You want guides of other languages, I am sure TCT could also help.

We had a wonderful experience with TCT . Everything was extremely well organized from start to finish, and the schedule was always followed on time, which made the entire trip stress-free and enjoyable.
The tour guides were very knowledgeable and shared interesting information throughout the journey, making each location even more meaningful. Their professionalism and friendliness really stood out. We even received the small presents at the beginning and the end !

We are a couple from Chicago,looking for a tour .For anyone hesitant to do it via Top China Travel i guarantee you ,this is legit.Our contact was Merry Liao and she was patiently waiting for us every step of the way.And oh boy she did a top notch job, her attention to details was exemplary. We did the 8 days tour ( Beijing, Xian and Shanghai).All our accommodations was 2nd to none. All the places that we went to was unforgettable.You will be up close and personal to those places you only seen in National Geographic.Dont be afraid about the language barrier ,this is a tour where you have a tour guide that speak your language with a driver ofcourse.

We were a group of 4 from Malta and we asked TCT to provide us with a customised tour over 21 days visiting the highlights of Beijing, Datong, Pingyao, XiAn, Chongqing, including part of 3 gorges, Zhiangjiagie, Shanghai and Suzhou, Guilin, Hong Kong and Macau.
Rebecca Wei helped with the meticulous planning of each stage, from hotels, tickets for all venues, trains and internal flights. At each point we were met by a knowledgable guide and driver who would accompany us to each site and take us back to the hotel at the end of the day. They made sure we boarded the right trains and flights at each transfer...we really appreciated all the little details which made us feel relaxed. The hotels were also of the highest standard in mostly all the cities we visited. TCT also respected our wish for focus on cultural and historical sites, rather than shopping and restaurants, so we managed to fit in what we wanted to see at each place. China is a huge, amazing country, and without TCT's meticulous planning and logistics, there is no way we could have managed to do and see so much! We really recommend them!

We had a private tour with TCT. We are very happy with the tour, the helpfulness of Joyce Tang, our contact , the very knowledgeable and helpful guides and drivers. Always on time and informative, especially our Beijing guide ,Allen, who was a star ⭐, kind thoughtful and caring to our needs every step of the way. We also want to mention Fiona, our guide in Shanghai, who was very devoted to us, did all she could to make our trip an amazing one in Shanghai 👏
TCT arranged everything and our trip went very well, no hiccups. We would highly recommend Top China Travel and would definitely travel with them again.

I’ve been on a china tour recently using Top China Travel (TCT) to plan the trip. I trusted TCT to provide the services I expected but was disappointed from the beginning to the end of our trip. TCT was responsible for organizing 3 speed train rides and an internal flight. Out of the 3 train rides, they goofed on 2. One of the train schedule was changed from the agreed schedule at least 4 days prior to departure but nobody notified me and I learned it by pure coincidence. Furthermore, on the last part of the tour, TCT forgot to forward the train ticket, and I have to remind them on the eve of my departure.

On Day 1 of the tour in Beijing, the guide told the group that he will not be able to take the group to Tiannamen Square. The whole group was upset, and we pushed hard so he finally took us to the square. I find it frustrating that we have to negotiate with the guide when the schedule was agreed before. Furthermore, the same guide tried to get us to pay for the boat ride at the Forbidden city while all along was included in the package we bought. So fellow travelers, read your material carefully and make sure you don't pay extras. All this was very suspicious.

We were 4 friends travelling and we have created a WhatsApp group chat with our contact at TCT so that we can communicate better. During our trip, our contact from TCT received a complaint from one of the other fellow travelers. A copy of the complaint identifying the traveler’s issue together with her personal contact was posted on our WhatsApp group chat. I find it unethical and unprofessional to forward this kind of information to other travelers.

Finally, be aware that the budget for lunch varies from 50 to 100Y per person. I personally received 50Y but some other lucky fellow travelers have received 70Y and 100Y. I heard you have to push for more, which unfortunately I did not do.

The information provided is truthful and factual. I’m looking forward to another trip but this time it will not be with TCT.

Our journey through Beijing was a masterpiece of planning and execution, thanks to the impeccable teamwork of our guide, Gerry and our driver, Kyle. Gerry made our trip the most memorable and engaging tour that we have ever had - this includes travel to 15 countries. While Gerry was the knowledgeable professor who fed our minds and spirits, Kyle was the steadfast guardian of our safety and our time. We must give special recognition to Kyle for his consummate skill and diligent professionalism. Navigating Beijing during and after Golden Week presents a formidable challenge with its severe traffic. Yet, for Kyle, this was an opportunity to demonstrate his mastery of the land. We never felt the stress of the traffic, because in his capable hands, we could put our hearts at ease knowing we were safe and would arrive at each destination with calm efficiency. His promptness each day was a sign of his deep respect for his duty and for us as guests and family.

This team brought great honor to Top China Travel.. We are profoundly grateful for their diligence and the immense effort they invested in our well-being, transforming our trip into a journey of comfort, wisdom, and absolute trust. The travel agent who managed our tour performed flawlessly, always answering questions and resolving problems immediately.
All tour guides of different cities were young, enthusiastic, and professional. They helped us with our luggages. One guide even escorted us to the high-speed train, and didn't leave until we were seated. His service was highly appreciated.

The 5-star hotels were comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast buffets are amazing. Their locations are all in the heart of busy tourist area where made it convenient for dining and shopping.

This was a carefree and enjoyable trip – our most pleasant trip ever.

Really helpful operator. Everything was made easy with this company. We recommend asking for Mr Wu the taxi driver in Chongqing- he knew all the spots to take pictures and really looked after us. Jane was a great guide in Chengdu also.

Merry made a custom tour for me in dali, centering around going to tea plantation. Company did great work on setting up everything. I recommend them for any asia tour.

We were very impressed with all aspects of the organisation done by TCT. With particular attention to our special request for making sure we have a meal at an Indian restaurant daily. This worked very well and eased our concerns with respect to our meals.

We had a 3 city trip combined with one person having a different itinerary to the 3 other ones. Each of us had a fabulous time. Everything was perfectly organized from the fantastic French speaking guides, the English inspecting ones, the drivers, the hotels, the visits, the tours... Amelie and her team shunned through all the challenges for the second time this year. Highly highly recommend!!!

Amelie planned my 5-day-itinerary in Zhangjiajie. She was really patient and organised everything I wished for.
Johnny was my tour guide. He showed me the Avatar Mountains, the Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain with my Personal Highlight, Heaven's door! He was really kind and we had a good communication in English. He was not only my tour guide, but my personal photographer as well, what I really appreciated 😀.

We had a most wonderful 10 day private tour in China, organized by TCT.
We wen't from Shenzhen to Guilin, then to Yangshuo and Chengdu and onto Xi'an and Beijing. At every stop we were met by our guide and driver. All hotel, excursion and train tickets were booked for us. We had no stress organizing anything. The guides are very knowledgeable and could answer every question we had.
We wholeheartedly recommend TCT .
