ineffective customer support
An unsolvable problem with a subscription renewal. Completely ineffective customer support.
In response to your comment, if the problem had been with the bank, I wouldn’t have been able to pay for a new subscription without first cancelling the first one. The problem therefore does indeed seem to be technical. And that is where customer service fell short. They were simply going round in circles on the issue of the bank.

Our management reviewed your support request and found that the payment was declined by your card issuer or payment provider. The decline didn’t come from TorBox. Because the bank or provider makes that decision, we’re unable to override it on our side.
To resolve this, we recommend contacting your bank to confirm the charge is authorized, or trying a different payment method at checkout. If you run into any further trouble, please reply to your support ticket and we’ll be glad to help.
