German trying to buy something on the website. Can not verify my account due to missing finnish phone number and bank account. Asked support for help but they told me to open up a finnish bank account in order to purchase on their website.

Unable to authenticate

While trying to contact one of their advertisers they diverted me to this portal where they had all these foreign banks - none of which I have anything to with and to authenticate yourself they want you to use one of those and nothing else. I contacted their help desk about the issue then was given a bad link to follow.

Worst customer service ever

So I send money to a seller via bank transfer, never heard back from the seller or got my gamw I paid for or my money back. I ask tori.fi customer service if they can check if the seller's account is active, literally only if the seller is login in or not. They refuse to disclose if the seller/thief is active on their platform. Shit customer service.

They remove adds and ask for receipt of some freaking Parfum to prove that it's original. Obviously it is but how many people actually save receipt. And in same time they don't ask receipt of fragrance what is sell for over 150 EUR hahah and this was actually 45 ...make it make sense! So someone contact them and said that I sell fake and just by assuming they remove my add. They actually do it constantly. They tired same crap with gold what I sold previously. S*ittiest customer service in Finland.

TORI'S NEW SYSTEM IS OVERLY COMPLICATED

Tori USED to very useful and simple to use. No longer - they decided to OVER COMPLICATE it. It's new system is HORRIBLE! There was no advance notification of relisting times being drastically shortened to a pathetically short 2 weeks. As they did not offer a 'pause for holiday' setting, I removed my items for relisting on my return. I had over 100! I relisted half, but the rest I lost! I'm cross and disgusted with Tori about this! Thanks a bunch for nothing!! All that work in photographs and Finnish LOST!!! VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!

Have been trying to use tori for the past two years and it's always been a nightmare. Trouble with authentication, trouble with sending/receiving messages, won't let me send pictures etc. Disgusting. I've never used such a terrible marketplace. How is this the norm?!

Works well as an online marketplace

As an online marketplace, this website has worked well for me when I have wanted to buy/sell stuff. They recently implemented the ability to authenticate oneself strongly using Finnish banking credentials and I think this will help reduce the risk of people getting scammed. I submitted some feedback about this feature and one of their developers replied the next day that they would take this up in their next meeting. I have no doubt that they take feedback seriously and want to improve in terms of user safety.

The worst ever techical support

The worst ever techical support: incompetent, lying and covering up technical problems. Don't make the mistake of reporting them technical issues unless you want a warning or a ban. Without such a horrible customer service and after fixing the numerous bugs, this service might actually be usable and even good, but in the current state it's a nightmare.

Shibsted vai ennemminkin Shitbed

Tori meni pilalle Schibsted-uudistuksessa. Myynnin kannalta hankalinta on, että ilmoitusten pitäisi roikkua 2-3k k ajan ennen kuin ne saa uusia ilmaiseksi. Ilmoituksen poistaminen & uudelleenpostaus ei onnistu toisin kuin vielä vuosi sitten.

Oikein klassikkoesimerkki siitä miten ensin järkevästi toteutettu sivu saanut koko maan suosion, mutta muuttuu täysin surkeaksi omistajavaihdoksen myötä, kun suuri suosio on jo saavutettu. Uudet yltiöahneet omistajat voisivat painua takaisin norjaan. Suosittelen käyttämään muita myyntialustoja niin saataisiin torin valta-asema kaadettua ja järkevämmät säännöt tilalle.

Complete shopping jungle

Complete shopping jungle. I had purchased an item after asking the seller about its condition. I offered to pay before receiving the item, as it is often required in Tori. I received the item and it was not in the condition the seller had confirmed in his messages. I contacted the seller to complain. Three times I reached out to him and he never responded. Then I contacted Tori and they took NO responsibility. At another occasion, a seller refused to meet with me so that I could try on a jacket she was selling. It would had been the best way to know if the jacket would be suitable for me. We lived in the same city and such a meeting would have not been unheard of. Not only did she decline but she actually became verbally abusive. This kind of bad attitude culminating to verbal bullying has happened to me twice in Tori. And of course I have also met lovely people. But Tori itself provides no protection from the rotten apples out there. And btw do not expect civility and politeness from most Tori sellers! There is no politeness code of conduct in Finland. A jungle!
