TRADING STANDARDS

TRADING STANDARDS. BERMONDSEY STORE STOLE MY MONEY £35.99. I ordered a delivery from Bermondsey Tortilla and it never arrived. I have tried contacting everyone and anyone at Tortilla, including head office. Just hitting walls constantly. No one rings back. Joke of a company. Almost three weeks now of being ignored. Never known anything like it. Disgusting behaviour from a big company. Hopefully someone will get back to this message. I’ll give you one day and then I’ll contact trading standards and the press.

London bridge store

London bridge store - Burrito was cold and really soggy. Literally dripping. The man serving seemed confused over what to do. The beef just tasted cheap. Really disappointing. Tim provided good customer service however. I'm afraid that I can't see this place lasting.

Just had a Burrito salad at Brustol airport.

Just had a Burrito salad at your Bristol airport site.The young man who served me was not generous with his servings and had to repeat himself at least twice.I know now it was his first day but hey-ho the other staff just stood back and let him take the flack from the customer in front of me.The dish we had contained alot of iceberg lettuce and then luke warm beans, beef and vegetables .The toppings of cheese and sour cream needed to be topped up further after I asked for more.I can honestly say the pictures on the wall looked nothing like the food we had .The photos showed bright colourful food not what we had. Sorry to voice my options but I spent atleast £25 once drinks had been added,and the whole experience did not gell nicely with me.

Exceptional Customer Service

28th December 8/9pm ish. Birmingham Grand Central. I was served by Sareena and Jess. Exceptional customer service, friendly, polite, extremely helpful & made me feel welcomed. There was no else in the queue so this allowed them to explain what food was there, as I explained I couldn't eat all foods. Very tasty food but outstanding customer service. I would appreciate if this could be relayed back. Thank you Jennifer

I Fancied a nice burrito in Victoria Station. Don't do it!!!it

I Fancied a nice burrito on a cold Thursday morning first I noticed the lady serving me didn't wear gloves which was not a problem as she possibly had clean hands. However she after she made my breakfast burrito she then proceeded to scratch her face scratch the back of her head and heaven knows what else she was scratching before she made my burrito. I was hungry and considered still eating this burrito In the end I didn't I used it as a handwarmer then threw it away. I will no be going back. The service wasn't much better the only time she used 2 words in a row was to tell me that it was card only. Maybe a little unfair because she did actually say regular or large.

The worst fast food I can remember.

The worst fast food experience I can remember. Tortilla Clapham Junction The burrito was a sodden wrap which I couldn't pick up. It fell apart as soon as I lifted it. The meat was more a sloppy soup than pork which he scraped out of the container. The whole thing was cold. If I had had the time I would have asked for my £8 back. The worst is coming on TP and realising that the experience is everyone's norm.

Visited the branch on London Wall…

Visited the branch on London Wall today. Shrinkflation is the aim of the game for Tortilla. I have some sympathy with the staff as I sense that they are told by management to skimp on portion size. I asked for a large burrito and the employee proceeded to give me one ladle of chicken followed by a "token" second ladle (we are talking 2 or 3 small cubes). In fairness to the employee, I then asked for a proper portion and she gave me a full ladle. They are just relying on the fact that the majority of people won't saying anything. Next time, please please please don't feel bad asking for more if you are not happy with the portion size. You need to make sure you are getting your money's worth!

I am appalled by Tortilla service in Bournemouth

I am appalled by Tortilla service in Bournemouth and for non existing reply on my feedback. On 1st occasion they run out of beef at 7 pm and the only meat available left was a chicken but what happened yesterday left me shocked. At 5.30 pm no beef again and whoever is doing the ordering is not doing good job. This gentleman served (who later turned to be apparently a Manager and no badge with the name so the name he gave me was Duane and he wrote that on blue tissue paper as apparently didn’t have any paper to write on). I eat my burrito same every time and nobody ever questioned that or asked me a questions about it. It is always the beans, double beef, salsa,chilli sauce and sour cream. Yesterday the person claimed to be the Manager kept putting the pressure on me how it must be with rice, how burrito will fall apart (that’s why all burritos are wrapped in foil) and when I said how I do not eat rice , he still kept pushing and I told him I do not mind if my burrito falls apart but that’s how I eat them. He refused to serve me after, he was extremely rude and I can not believe that is an attitude of someone who apparently runs the place. Instead of making the burrito I would like , someone else came , I choose pork as they must be ordering brought beef in that place to do 1 , maximum 2 burritos per day. I decided not to have any burritos and left because how can this be allowed? It’s up to me what I would like in my burrito, I am paying customer and that shouldn’t be questioned. When I tried to add rewards before , always something wrong and they don’t go through. The one reward that I had on my account, for some reason they can’t not process as they are always some issues. I sent a feedback to Tortilla and nobody ever bothered to get back to me. I never had any problem in any Tortilla shop before but the service and lack of customer in Bournemouth one is absolutely appalling and somebody should do something about it.

Service was rude at leadenhall market. Also didn’t give me a chance to order what I actually wanted just skipped through. The food isn’t great anyway compared to chillangos but the service is usually ok… leadenhall market today… not so much

Manchester store really wasn't a…

Manchester store really wasn't a fantastic experience. Dirty restaurant; painfully slow service during the evening with a queue of 3 customers; was asked to move to the other side of the restaurant whilst I was eating so they could close the area. Burritos are rather flavourless, certainly compared to its Chilango predecessor. Chicken quality seemed off, and dryest wrap I've ever held in my hand.

Even better if on offer

Even better if you can get these on offer. These are great burritos. Good variety of fillings. Went to Manchester branch. Staff could do with being more friendly 😀

Undercooked churros

The churros were mushy, undercooked and raw inside.
Disappointing.

The portions are stingy and too small. The chicken was pink and undercooked. I did not want food poisoning so I had to throw it away.

I will not go again.

cashless company? No thanks

Love this place but I visited today and found out they are a completely cashless business now so won’t be ever be returning. We civilians will all be completely screwed when the world goes cashless. Boycott any business that doesn’t accept cash!

Applied for supervisor job

Applied for supervisor job at Tortilla Cabot Circus Was there for 2 weeks and the shop was poorly managed and the assistant manager was horrible to all staff. Not nice place to work in.

Tortilla in Exeter

Tortilla in Exeter - we ordered a burrito. It’s the first time we have been to tortilla and omg it was so so tasty. Great portion size , juicy but not wet , very impressed and would definitely go back . After reading reviews about tortilla , I am shocked there are so many negative ones . I guess with any food chain it all comes down to the people making your food and sometimes not actually even about the food itself .
We absolutely loved it so you get a Thumbs up from us
