Had problem with motorcycle/ Called for…

Had problem with motorcycle/ Called for help due to fully paid warranty . Conversation started with objections. "We will not pay for work not authorized". BUT, the work has not yet taken place; Then instructed for my bike shop to call them. They did and no one picks up the phone;; Stuck with the bill/. Bike is my only transportation. ? Just evil

This company is a total rip off

This company is a total rip off. I purchased two plans for two cars. Nobody answers or calls you back. If you get work done this company will not call the service center back. A total waste of money. I tried to cancel my policies and nobody is calling back. Please do not do business with this company. You will regret it.

Buyer Beware! D Rating with BBB

There are literally dozens of complaints from past customers who canceled their service early for various reasons, only to have this company refuse to pay the refund. I am one such customer. I canceled in February of 2024. After numerous phone calls and countless empty promises I received no results. They even lied and said it should have been returned to my original payment method. After which I was promised a check in the mail. I was placed on hold and left there for 15-20 minutes at a time, repeatedly, passed from department to department, and ultimately hung up on.

Despite writing a letter to make them aware of my intentions, I received no response. I was subsequently forced to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and to this day, I have yet to receive any resolution or even a phone call. I fear I will have no other choice but to sue this company in small claims court to retrieve my almost $3000.

I do not recommend this company to anyone. Their behavior is unscrupulous and far from professional. I dread to think what would happen if you actually had to make a claim. To this day June 25th 2024 I have not received one cent of the money owed to me or recieved any calls to rectify this situation. Their policy is within 30 business days I should be refunded. Their idea of addressing my concerns is putting me on hold and hanging up. Please go look at the BBB report for yourself.

BUYER BEWARE

We purchased and paid in full for a total premier package two years ago and haven't had to use it until this week. My truck is currently on a hoist at Chevy for 3 days now waiting for approval on our claim - which is fully covered - and no one in the claims department answers the phone or responds to urgent emails. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! If you are looking for a company to provide at least OK kind-of service, don't bother with this one because their service is BEYOND TERRIBLE !!!!

100% SCAM

Samuel Taylor was patient and explained things clearly

EDIT: changed to 1 star

Thus company along with endurance, are both owned by the same person and are 100% scams. They have you do a review right after the initial sign up process so you feel good that it went smooth. The sign up process is so smooth that they don't even take your vehicle info. They sign you up, and make you pay without sending them any info about your car.

Then once you're signed up, they don't provide any account details. I go on their scammy website and create an account myself, to find out it's a free template type of website with "followers" and "following" as if it was copied from a social site template.

Then when you try to get back in contact with them, they only answer when it's the sales extension. Other than that you only get to a 3rd party line that tells you the cal volumes are high and someone will call me back (which they never do).

THEN when you finally get to someone from TAP, you mention anything about a refund or canceling, or any questioning about the company, they will try to get off the phone with you. In my case the guy literally told me "I'm getting another call, was there anything else?" When we all know how call queues work.

THEN I also came acriss a website they created themselves (forgot the website) that ranks their own company as #1 and again, endurance as #2.

Absolutely unprofessional, and 100% a scam. As you can tell all the good reviews are from the initial sign up OR fake. I had to get refunded through my creditcard company as these guys lie about giving you a refund. Even their responses to bad reviews here are copy/pastes.

BEST OF THE BEST!

Best of the best! I’ve had many in the past, including from the dealership.
I’ve had Total Auto for over 6 years on 2 of my vehicles. I’ve had unfortunate issues and claims for repairs and throughout the entire process, Total Auto Protect had my back!
I barely got involved in the vehicle repairs. I also had priority which speed everything up. I got a rental free for 4 days and only had to pay $100 on over $5,000 in parts and about $1500 in labor. I recommend them to all my friends.

I purchased a warranty for my 2007…

I purchased a warranty for my 2007 Mercedes-Benz E550. I didn’t think I was going to use the policy but a check engine light came on and I went to the dealership and they told me I needed a new intake because the flaps weren’t opening properly. The dealership contacted Total Auto Protect and they took care of the whole bill and I paid nothing out of pocket. It was roughly a $1700 dollar bill. After they took care of this claim, I purchased another warranty for my 2012 Lexus ES350.

Superb hospitality!

They did an incredible job getting my car fixed! for such and affordable price than most auto company’s it’d be crazy not to go with them! Make sure you guys work with Total Auto Protect if you want to be protected at all times!

TOTAL AUTO PROTECT DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES


Unfortunately this company is in the business of defrauding consumers based on their business practices. Total Auto Protect does not approve claims when there is a problem with the car that is under warranty. The company doesn’t honor the contractual agreement between the consumer and Total Auto Protect, and therefore consumers need to be aware of what they are doing when they purchase an extended warranty from this company. My claim was denied and when I reached out to inquire as to why my claim was denied I was put on hold without anyone reaching out to me. I’ve left messages with a call back number and I never received a response. For these reasons, I will be writing reviews and warning consumers that they need to be aware of their deceptive business practices. I will be getting in touch with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, informing them of their SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES.
As of June 17th a complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau. My next step is reaching out to the Attorney General’s Office and the Federal Trade Commission! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BECOME A VICTIM. I’M TRYING TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT AND IM UNABLE TO PHYSICALLY SPEAK WITH A REPRESENTATIVE. SHADY, SHADY BUSINESS……

This company is a fraud

This company is a fraud. I purchased a policy cancelled it and was due $1300.00 refund. They have told me the check has been sent 4 times over the last month. Still I have no refund. When calling they send you into a circle of transfer to which no one ever picks up the phone. I have contacted DOJ ( Depth. of Justice) to pursue this fraudulent business. DO NOT DO BUSSINESS!!! with this company 8f you value your hard earned money.
