Mike made the experience of moving from Ireland to England with very short notice as stress free as possible and at a very affordable price. The local partners who did the packing and moving were careful and through. An overall smooth, excellent moving experience.

Review Total Moving Solutions (TMS)

Through a search on the internet I got in contact with Total Moving Solutions (TMS).
I was going to move from the UK To Germany.
They were the only company, who asked me to choose a total volume of my household, and that appealed to me, as I had measured everything, and it was different to how other companies did it.
Unfortunately TMS used a Dutch company, Schmidt Global Relocations (SGR), to actually perform the move - pick-up - storage (19 days) - delivery.
On delivery several items were missing. One of the Polish removers persuaded me to sign for the delivery, as he claimed I had eight weeks to complain. This was not true, as the time to complain later turned out to be only seven days.
Out of the 120 items, six were missing and three items totally ruined. How can so many items disappear, or is there something organized behind?
It was obvious that the removers’ handling of the goods was rather heavy-handed. Furniture was scraped, dented, and chipped. Several handles broken off the furniture. Items inside boxes were squashed and broken.
TMS had expected me to sit outside my entrance and note what was delivered. This I obviously did not do, and was later blamed for this. As I had done all the packing myself, they also blamed me for this, as I did not wish to pay extra for packing service.
In all fairness I should mention I was compensated some, however no money will replace special items of sentimental value.
Not a company I would recommend and especially not SGR.

Excellent and clear communication, expert packaging, super quick transfer (from door to door 5 weeks!), all arrived in one piece, nice people, would recommend 10/10

My point of contact was Mike Godwin. The shortest way to describe him is that he is a professional gentleman. What he promised is exactly what we got - no hidden fees, no tricks, nothing! They offered the best price and the best service I could ask for in an intercontinental move. The way everything was packed, handled and delivered in the UK and Australia was very professional and beyond perfect.

I would definitely recommend to use TMS because it doesn't get any better than this. Thanks for the PERFECT service and professionalism.

Christian was great throughout, really attentive, informative, and did what he said he was going to do!
His partners collected the stuff on time, and then we got all our items when they said they were going to deliver, so can't fault at all :)

Overall it was a very smooth move.
I really appreciated that all paperwork was organised by the company. The lads were extremely professional loading their truck and used ever square inch to fit everything within the booked cbm.
Time frame was as predicted and nothing was missing.
Queries during transport were dealt with immediately.

I would like to thank Total Moving Solutions, and particularly Chris and Melissa, for their time, hard work and efforts in helping me throughout my move from London to Valencia.

They gave me a very valuable help in organizing the move, preparing the needed paperwork to avoid issues with the Spanish customs, and managing the relationship with the removal firm and with the insurance company. I am also very happy with the timely, always kind, good-humoured and effective communications with their team (a crucial factor in making all this as efficient and painless as possible), and with the fact that costs were kept exactly as initially agreed, and overall fair and competitive vs. other transport firms/brokers. While requiring some flexibility on the client's side (I opted for a groupage service, though) for both collection and delivery dates, the removal happened within the agreed timeframe.

I am not giving them 5 out of 5 because my motorbike suffered some minor damages during the move (the rest of my things were moved without damages and all came to my apartment’s door the day we had agreed). Whilst the issue with my motorbike was satisfactorily resolved through the insurance coverage, and TMS helped decisively in smoothing things out with the insurance team, that would have been avoidable with better care by the transport firm’s side (which were however fair in recognizing the damages) and it implied some additional stress for me to solve things (i.e. bringing my motorbike to a garage, waiting for spare parts, dealing with the insurance etc).

All in all, I would recommend TMS for similar moves, and I would contact them again if I needed their services in the future.

Used TMS when relocating from the UK to Ireland. Dealt with Christan who was very helpful and managed the whole process for us. Highly recommend.

I used TMS to ship my personal items from the UK to Australia when I relocated. I dealt with Jason. Throughout the entire transaction, he communicated incredibly well. A stressful inter-continental move made simpler by a company that knows what they're doing and actually seems to care about it's customers.

My items have recently arrived undamaged and carefully packed.

Good communication, efficient and value for money service

We used TMS to move relocate to New Zealand and have had a first rate experience. Scott, Melissa and the Team were with us each step of the way, and able to flex to our arrangements as they changed in New Zealand. We had a few small breakages en route - nothing costly, and the insurance excess would have wiped out any recovery. So TMS offered a small in-house gesture of goodwill, which was a very decent touch at the end of an all-round excellent experience. We won't be using TMS again as we're definitely not moving to the other side of the world again (!) but would strongly recommend them.

TMS made our move to New York from the UK so easy, Christian and the team where extremely responsive and helpful and the cost was very competitive! With so much to do as you can imagine with moving to another country, Christian and the team took the reigns with our furniture relocation and from collection to delivery in New York, I didn't have to worry about it, it was all done for us, even packing and unpacking at the other end, very professional, seamless service that I would highly recommend, we will be using TMS again when we return to the UK in 4/5 years time.

Scott and the Total Moving Solution team were amazing! They communicated clearly every step of the way in my move from Bristol to Australia and were a super competitive price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone moving near of far.

TMS were very professional from start to finish. Communication with Christian and the rest of the team was very thorough and and it was a pleasure doing business with them. Appointments were kept punctually and a friendly service was provided throughout. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would certainly use again myself.
