Can't Use Total Wine Gift Cards on…

Can't Use Total Wine Gift Cards on Total Wine Website. Was very disappointed to learn the Total Wine gift cards I gave out as Christmas presents are not able to be used on the Total Wine website. What is the reason behind this? The cards are useless to those who don't have a physical store in their area. Thanks for nothing... Don't make the same mistake.

Usually my company has a Holiday party…

Usually my company has a Holiday party to celebrate the end of the year. Since we were not able to get together in person, it was decided to have wine delivered to 30 individuals in different states. Had I known that Total Wine's website was not delivery friendly when placing the order for someone other than myself, I would not have used them.
The first red flag was when I placed an order and the delivery name was mine with the receiver's address. I cancelled 3 orders due to this and reordered. The next red flag was in Colorado there is not an option to add a message / greeting to the delivery. In Arizona and California there is the ability to do this because delivery is done by a third party. I later learned that this third party is either GrubHub or Door Dash.
Next red flag was one of the wines I ordered was out of stock, so instead of cancelling the entire order, a $4.00 corkscrew was delivered along with tax, tip and delivery fee to a tune of $16.95.
Had I known when I cancelled the orders how incredibly hard it would be to reconcile the order, I would not have done it. When an order is cancelled, Total Wine cancels each of the following separately.
Alcohol order along with tax; then the tip; and then the delivery fee. So you have three different charges.
All I can say to Total Wine is, in the times of COVID, please put some money into your website to make delivery service easier for the customer!

$400 order returned and TotalWine could not care less

I ordered $400 of wine for my father for Christmas. It was supposed to be delivered the day before Christmas eve. I received a text saying when it was out for delivery. Later on in the day I called my dad and asked if he got it and he said no. Dad had been sitting at home all day waiting for it and his front door was left open for the driver for when he showed up (my dad lives in FL). I called totalwine and they said the driver must not have been able to find the address or the apartment number because I did not spell out 'apartment' or 'apt' and instead put the apartment number after a '#' sign. The driver returned my wine to the store and totalwine refunded my money. Customer service said there was nothing they could do to fix the situation and it is because I did not use the second address line to put his apartment number. The driver did not bother to use the phone number provided for my dad to clarify the situation if he was in fact confused. Pathetic excuse from totalwine and they clearly just did not even care to help. Next time I will find a more reputable company to deal with.

Why can’t you keep Cruzan Rum in stock?

We have been buying spirits and wine for 3 years at the Goodyear total wine store. We almost always have a problem getting a case of Cruzan Dark Rum ( 1.75). Why can’t they keep it in stock? It’s all computerized right. My have to go to BevMo.

The coupons they send never apply to…

The coupons they send never apply to what I buy. I don't want them. So this last visit, the mgr said it would apply, But no. Then the price on the bin was the wrong one, of course a higher price at the register :(

NO REFUND FOR THEIR MISTAKE!

I was an out of town shopper in Towson, MD store. I bought a $160 bottle of whiskey, and 4 beers. I was charged twice for one of the beers ($5.49). When I called they said I have to travel back to Baltimore to get refund. I have receipt, but that didn't matter. People were nice but policy is terrible. I WON'T GO BACK. The Walmart of booze.....

Poor, irresponsive customer service

A couple weeks ago I ordered wine from the wrong store at Total Wine. I reordered the wine from the correct store and called customer service to refund my incorrect order. It took me three calls within three weeks to get the refund and a promise of a $10.00 credit on future purchase. I have yet to receive the $10.00 credit and made another call for that. No one cares. Customer service stinks

My first time going to Total Wine was…

My first time going to Total Wine was in 2012 in Washington. Now that I am in Minnesota I have access to the store again. I shop at the Roseville location. The prices are not cheap and I always see price hikes. I hate it when the checkout price is different than the tag on the shelf. This store is infamous for this. I commented to an employee that they need to dust the bottles. There is nothing worse than going to a store that sells anything and the products are dusty/dirty. Lastly they are constantly moving products around. I went this week and I couldn’t find what I use to get in a beer so I just walked out. It’s a so so store. I’d rather pay more at some smaller private owned store and get better customer service.

Shameless price hikes

I went back to my local Total Wine after they fully reopened and found that prices of some of their bestsellers had shamelessly gone up. My favorite Rioja costs now 30 percent more. When I asked the manager about it he tried to explain that some harvests were not as good, but this is total BS as it's still the same year and this particular vintage (2016) had one of the highest yields on record. Even with their coupons they are now way overpriced. It's time to start buying my wines at Trader Joe's, Wegmans or some of the independent shops. Au revoir Total Wine!

I ordered through them and get your money and than blame others why my items didnt get to my home and to say the manager saying its my fault when I explain I have secuirty cameras guess what they run all day so they never came and they cant do anything about it. Take your money somewhere else

Dont bother, not worth the trouble.

If I could give the service 0 stars I would. They took the money and the order was comfimed for the next day deliver. Next morning comes, both wine no email. Call the customer service and mynorder w as s never "invoiced" and no one knows why. Very frustrating because I actually called first to make sure delivery would be on time and items were stocked before hand. Needless to say this was a total waste of time.

Total Wine of North Miami @Arena Shops…

Total Wine of North Miami @Arena Shops deserves my 5 stars vote. I've been doing most of my purchases online nowadays and I didn't experience any of the negative experiences posted here by some other reviewers. Perhaps, it's a per store situation and their staff, but let me tell you that I made a purchase yesterday and it was ready for pickup within 30 minutes. The prickup was very smooth and convenient plus I love the variety and competitive prices if you compare to other local liquor stores in the area.

Tina and the management there…

(Stevens Creek Blvd in San Jose)
Tina and the management there discriminate against people who walk in there. They are so rude and Tina (a short racist Asian woman) who was going to conduct my orientation thought she was going to make me feel dumb and belittle me, but to her surprise I wasn't like their other employees. I stood my ground because there are so many of her kind that get a little position above the rest and they think they own the franchise. They said I was confrontational because I didn't let her treat me less. I was let go for standing up for myself to someone who thinks they are entitled to talk to you anyway they want. The managers here are EXTREMELY rude and racially profile customers and employees. That is what they do on their walkies.

Absolutely love this place

I absolutely love this place. It's my personal playground. Everytime I go there, the associates are very helpful and knowledgeable. I don't live very close..but I will travel a bit out of the way to get there.

store location 15980 pines blvd, pembroke pines, fl 33027 im fng furious, i didnt say a word i kept my cool but this lady Mavis with braids and glasses called to order another employee to bring the bottle i requested which was the Remy Martin, behind glass. I always come to this location, and i know my order might take a while i have always been asked nicely to step away so cashiers can process other customers. This lady didnt say a word i felt so disrespected, she brushed me off with attitude and expected me to move so i did that for im not rude to the other people, but this lady, is the reason i wont come here and i come for Remy Martin once a week. im so upset i try hard to not be close to other people during these COVID19 times and i had another customer get as near as 5 inches away from me. forget this. im furious

First time ever visiting and had bad…

First time ever visiting and had bad experience. I'm on the mixer aisle and out of knowhere here comes the stocking crew with a cart and just pushed it in front of what I was looking at. Not once got a excuse me sir or can I help you. I understand you have to stock the shelves but did they just then decide they needed to stock it up. I'll stick to my normal neighborhood liquor store.

Bad form guys

Bad form guys! Went to your site to order for pickup - had 2 coupons, one for 20% for 6 bottles or more and one for 10%. Site said that our order for 6 bottles didn't qualify for the discount so we modified to the 3 things we really wanted but then couldn't get the 10% to go thru. Called the local store and were told that the company (or at least your on-line fulfillment company) has decided not to honor the coupons at this time because of how busy you are. Seriously?? We are at a time when folks are struggling and you've decided to not honor coupons because business it too good. Not just bad form - downright sh--ty business practice. Especially when your guy at the store told us that if we called the online company we might be able to whine enough to get them to give us the discount...probably something he should have just handled for the 9 bucks we should have gotten. Think I'll just buy my booze elsewhere.

THEY FLATTER TO DECEIVE

After having been a long-standing loyal customer of Total Wine's, I have held them in high regard up until NOW, when they have inexcusably demonstrated a callous disregard for customers, especially senior citizens, potentially affected by COVID-19. I made an online transaction on 4.17.20 for pickup. Meanwhile, I came down with flu-like symptoms and, being a senior, I did not want to take a chance of either contracting COVID-19 or infecting others during the pickup. So, I called the store to cancel the order, but they would not or could not, giving me their so-called customer service number. I called that number several times but to no avail---simply put on hold & listening to meaningless music. Finally, I wrote to them and they acknowledged receipt of my written correspondence, promising to respond within the next 72 hours. I AM STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM THEM, TODAY BEING 4.23.20!
