Poor verification process...no confidentiality honored!
The purpose of the verification process is to ensure i have provided corrected/updated information & am the actual borrower! However, when the representative called to verify my PERSONAL information, he did NOT ask me for my info, HE GAVE ME THE INFORMATION HE HAD ON HIS SCREEN instead of asking me for it! This gentleman read out all the personal information from his screen! It could've easily been some1 else instead of me calling & this tower representative gave all my information! He needs to ask me to provide the information NOT blurt it out to the caller because what if it hadn't been me!?!? Verification means I give you information so you know it's me! Please make sure these reps are asking for the information rlnot giving it to the caller! Thank you! I hated that he did that & when I addressed it, he simply brushed me off & said, ok what are the 1st 3 digits of your social, he had already given me all the personal information! So much for confidentiality! Retrain your reps to not blurt out personal info to a caller but instead to request the information to verify a person. Thank you!
