Not to be trusted
Cold called at our door today. My husband and I both told him separately we didn't want our drive cleaned. He was very persistent. He said he'd clean one flagstone next to the drive so we could see the difference it made then we could ring him if we were interested. He was very insistent so we agreed to one flagstone being cleaned. When we'd gone he came back and cleaned a large square in the middle of our drive, covering our front and garage doors and the surrounding area, and our neighbour's garage doors in filthy muck. He knocked again and offered to do the rest of our tiny drive for £300! He then dropped the price to £180 and then £150! At last he left, leaving us to clean up the mess. If this cowboy knocks at your door, slam it in his face.
