I love visiting Olena and Kateryna. I do wish the salon offered Cat Eye/Magnetic glitter gel options. I would love to get a "Velvet Glass" style polish color.

I recently visited Townhouse Guildford for my wedding nails trial. My first impressions were great. When I left the salon, I was so happy with my nails - so happy, in fact, that I booked my wedding nails appointment on the spot. However, about a week later, the nails started to fall off. They began lifting near the cuticle, then the sides would loosen, and eventually they would come off completely.I’ve never had nails last such a short amount of time — and I’ve also never paid so much for them. Even so, I foolishly kept the appointment for my wedding… only for it to be cancelled by Townhouse with only 2hrs notice. And that’s not the first time - I’ve booked a total of 4 appointments with townhouse in the past year and 50% have been cancelled last minute. In a nutshell: Avoid.
Violeta is great! She’s super friendly and professional. Her attention to detail is excellent and I always leave with the perfect nails!

I had the most wonderful manicure and pedicure experience thanks to Janice and Leonie. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely relaxed and pampered. Their attention to detail was outstanding—every step was done with care and precision, and the final result was absolutely flawless.
Janice and Leonie are not only incredibly skilled, but also warm and welcoming, creating such a lovely, comfortable atmosphere. They really took the time to make sure everything was perfect, and it truly shows in the quality of their work.
I left feeling refreshed, polished, and so pleased with the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and genuinely enjoyable beauty experience!

I’ve been coming to Gloucester Road Townhouse for a while now and Hema has always made experience brilliant! She’s very attentive, caring and professional, it’s a delight!

My appointment was rescheduled to a time I cannot do with less than an hour of notice. They emailed me to tell me from an email address that doesn’t accept incoming messages which is unacceptable. The email said to rebook via the app but the app won’t let me rebook because my appointment is so soon. They the refer you to WhatsApp where you have a circular argument with a bot that culminates in you being told that there are no humans available to help you. Never again.

I used to think very highly of Townhouse Wilmslow but not any more. I have been a customer there for over 2 years. I had an appointment booked a week ago for today and it was cancelled 15 minutes before by text. I had travelled an hour to get there. Something has changed and not for the good. No apologies!
A distinct lack of Customer care and service stands out. No manager in salon and less staff than normal.I was obviously the unlucky one and having a pedicure -as others were being seen for manicures . Very unprofessional handling by the salon and Townhouse.

Have been visiting townhouse Meadowhall since it opened, for my wedding nails in 2024 and more recently for pedicures with Lubjana during my pregnancy as I can’t reach my toes! All staff are always very welcoming and I always leave happy with the result, thank you xx

I made a complain last month about the customer service at the Townhouse head office and the way, at the very last minute, they cancelled my appointment on Valentine’s Day! However, I have to say that the prompt reaction I have received, it has been impressive and made me happy again! They offered me a very good resolution and I’m glad they gained me back! After all, I love going to have my nails done at the Townhouse salons in Bristol and I’d have hated having to look for an alternative!
In fact the main reason I love choosing Townhouse, is because of the high cleanliness level - the fact they use the autoclave for the nail tools & the single use of the nail files, is in fact unbeatable! Lately, the introduction of the new type of gel & polish - which are far more superior and durable then the ones used before (and the removal of some nasty chemicals too), is a big plus too! I have also always had a good experience with all the nail technicians who are always friendly & professional, so in conclusion I’m glad they won me back and I have just booked my next appointment!

If you have had a Russian nail technician, you will understand where I am coming from. I booked a nail appointment in Richmond branch yesterday as my nail technician is on holiday and I had to get my nails done asap. Looking through this salon reviews I thought maybe I can give it a try. I booked a removal service on top (electric file) as per my main nail technician technique to remove the old gel. I got to know today that I had a BIAB gel on (which I always called a gel as I am not a nail technician and I didn’t know the difference). Apparently this salon uses electric file and acetone soak-off to remove BIAB which was shocking to me as I had never had an acetone soak-off for BIAB before which of course they have charge me extra for it. The nail technician who was next to us said that because I booked the wrong removal, they need to adjust the service as they can’t do the service that I have booked for on time, which meant express manicure, and just a simple gel. Also when the lady who did my nails asked her what to do regarding the price, she said quite loudly “it’s fine we will just charge extra for the time it took”. I don’t mind paying for the extra time, or having that express manicure just because we were tight on time. It’s just the way she said it in a rude way that made me feel off. The service was rushed even though I came earlier (10min) than my appointment. After the service my nails look like one week has already passed. There is a gap between my nails and the cuticles. It’s just really disappointing that after today I will need to get my nails done in a week to have tidy nails. As normally I can get away with 20 days without getting them redone.
I would really not recommend this salon. Self-pampering treatments should make us feel better and pretty especially when we are paying money for the services, not upset because of rude staff, and the nail service quality.

The manicures are brilliant, but you cannot contact the company
Simple question was how long the nail extensions last.
By chat or what’s app it goes round in circles and just sends you back to the main menu.

I went to townhouse as I was gifted a gift card for my birthday. I booked a luxury pedicure. The staff were nice but there was absolutely no atmosphere. The place was soulless.
I was shocked to discover that if I wanted a drink of water I would have to purchase a drink from the mini bar.
I then paid with my gift voucher and was told I can’t collect points on this transaction as I used a gift voucher? But they happily took the £68 off my gift voucher so have been paid therefore I would expect to collect the points. (I would understand not collecting points on treatments paid for using points but paid for using a gift card makes zero sense)
Zero incentive to come back and all in all a money making exercise. Everything is an extra cost.
I would rather keep with my local lady who is reliable, friendly and doesn’t charge me £3 for a coffee!! (Even she has a rewards system which includes the use of gift cards!)

The staff were lovely and it was a great experience. But my nails lasted 3 days when they were meant to last 21+ days. They all peeled off by themselves. I’m very disappointed.
