Used this company for a few years with…

Used this company for a few years with no problem at all. Last year however was different, not the same service they were providing. For that reason I went direct through sideshow collectables for my hot toys which I strongly recommend!!! Shame to hear all the people having trouble getting money back. Again for all you hot toy needs go straight to sideshow I live in the UK you get 5 star treatment on all orders

Company has gone bump

Company has gone bump. Records 'signed for' by owner as a declaration of them being correct aren't. Please go through your records, speak to the liquidation team and make sure everything you'd payed is accounted for (as mine wasn't). Best bet of getting your money back is with your bank/credit card company

Company has gone bust

Company has gone bust. Anyone owed monies will be contacted by liquidators. Suggest anyone owed monies contact bank or credit card companies immediately to start the refund process.

Gone bust!

They have gone into ‘voluntary liquidation’.

All websites sites are down, including their Facebook page. So you can’t even contact them.

Nightmare for anyone who has placed an order with them, such as myself.

Do not use in the event you need Customer Services

After a v long wait was told I would have to pay extra 200+ for my pre order, whilst I appreciated this was somewhat out of their control (or so I believe) due to stock issues the real problem is now the complete lack of communication regards my refund which i've now been waiting months for, despite numerous chase up's I'm not getting any response. Had I just been refunded promptly I would have moved on with no hard feelings but it's now an uncalled for saga. Avoid on the basis that in the event you need some decent customer service or more importantly your money back it wont be provided.

I normally buy from a local comic shop…

I normally buy from a local comic shop but there prices have jumped in the last year so was searching online and found these guys a lot cheaper. I made an order late Monday and it arrived 8.55am the next day, which was super fast as i chose a 3-5day delivery service. I also got a free mug and comic as a welcome. Will be back again on payday : )

No reply, out of business?

Ordered nearly 2 years ago, products were due in January, and ToyHQ are now not responding to emails or their contact form. They have no phone number, do not buy from them, I suspect they have gone out of business.

I made an order for a expensive star …

I made an order for a expensive star wars figure and selected standard delivery. I received a email an hour later saying it was dispatched.
I then got an email and text from them the next morning with a delivery time. It arrive a 9.33am. Less then 24hrs and was really well packed. 100% use them again. They was awesome from start to finish and love my figure.

Very poor.

I placed an order in April 2016, with an expected delivery date of pre-Christmas. The website did not state at any point that there would be any more to pay in addition to the "pre-order" price.
I received an email in August to say it has been dispatched. It didn't arrive. I emailed, was told it was an error, it hadn't been dispatched.
I emailed on a number of occasions over the period August 2016 to May 2017, the item was always due at a specific time, however, it could never be confirmed - always "expected".
I now have been told this morning (after chasing again), that my item will arrive on 15th May, and I'll be due to pay £200 plus shipping!! They can do this, because their website is very vague, stating that 90% of pre order prices are fixed, however, this can change due to various factors. I have this morning asked them to cancel my order, for which I'll be charged £40. I think their website should state WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER that the pre-order price is not the final price, it seems it's actually a DEPOSIT. Very misleading at best, and very dishonest / crooked at worst. I certainly won't buy anything here again. Very poor customer service, and misleading / false information.

FAST AND TRUSTWORTHY

Ordered and a couple of items over a year ago as the price was the lowest i could find after a long time looking. The total added up to over £1,000 but only paid the deposits of £40 per figure.

I was notified about the figures all the way and when they would arrive.

They arrive on time and was dispatched the sameday they arrived. They all arrived the following day and was upgraded for free on the postage as i told them i was out after 1pm. Super friendly and have made all my new orders with them. 5 *****

Dishonest, don't reply to email

Placed a pre order for item that all other sellers where showing as in stock with a £60 deposit. Contacted toyhq for update and no reply. Asked for money back and no reply.
Contacted PayPal but as over 6 months old can no longer get refund. Had to buy same item somewhere else for a lot more money.
Do not trust and avoid - if you must use them make sure payments are made with credit card to avoid PayPal complications

AWESOME and Trustworthy!

I've been a big collector for years and the Uk dealers have been ok but have had small issues with 1 or 2 of them. I really just needed one company to deal with so it was easy and not have my money spread all over. I found ToyHQ at a trade show and NEVER looked back. Very friendly, helpful and have items that my credit card hates :( i just leave a deposit to secure my figure and the balance isnt due until its instock which works very well with me as i can then order other pieces. I was also very please with the packing as all items are delivered next day and packed well.

I did once receive a faulty Hot toys figure but it was no fault of them. I emailed them with photos and they did exchanged the faulty figure very quickly and gave me even more confidence. A couple of my mates have also started to use them and all are happy.

Have no doubts with ToyHQ 👍

Good company, could be amazing with customer service improvements

Great company gets the items to you but their communication leaves much to be desired. With some more focus on their customer service and they could be one of the top companies in their field in the UK. At this moment the lackluster communication can give you second thoughts in dealing with them. While indeed a small company if they plan to grow, as I am sure most companies do they need to focus more on customer service as not all are as understanding unfortunately.
