Dreadful
Dreadful. Booked for my first service on a brand new car only to arrive and be told they would need to keep the car for seven hours. No advance notice of this - I later learned from a different garage that there is apparently a recall/update on the vehicle. The person I spoke with on the day was abrasive, insisting I had been told this. Gaslighting, in addition to poor communication. The tone and manner was such that I left without the service, and told them to take me off their database as I would never deal with them again.
Having clearly stated that I wanted no further relationship with them, you can imagine my surprise when I received a call from them today. I initially thought they might be phoning to apologise but no, silly me - they were phoning to yet again reiterate that they were entirely blameless in all matters and that apparently my comprehension skills were the sole issue here. The tone was condescending and obnoxious.
I strongly advise against shopping here for anything as important as the car you drive. The Toyota product might be attractive but it really won’t be worth having to deal with these people.
