Cheaper elsewhere, takes a long time to arrive

The order took longer to arrive than expected because I was under the impression shipping was from NZ. (I should have read these reviews first).

The product itself is exactly as advertised and in great condition, however if I had of done more research I could have gotten the same product for Amazon for a lot cheaper! For example I ordered the vault x card sleeves I bought a 200 pack for $80 Amazon has the same product but 1000 pack for $20.

I have still given a 3 star rating as both of these issues are my fault for not doing enough research.

If they have a product that you need and it is not cheaper or in NZ I would use this site again. Do your research - don’t be like me!

Will change review when item arrives.

Currently awaiting item purchased for Christmas. I understand that this could take time however going near into February and promises over a tracking number so I can actually see proof of this item being sent and not just the word of someone emailing, is ridiculous. It doesn’t take long to copy and paste a tracking number. I’ve given the benefit of the doubt and will adjust my review if and when I see fit. However a measly 30 percent off discount isn’t really going to cut it. Specifically because this was a chosen present for my daughter.

Ordered goods out of stock and request…

Ordered goods out of stock and request for refund took a long time but did arrive. I suspect goods were short supply generally as i checked other sites. Christmas probably part of delay but in the end it worked out and Toys NZ is a company I would do business with .

I was appalled with the recent service…

I was appalled with the recent service from Toys Central. Promised delivery dates, didnt deliver. Then went on to promise refunds which have not yet been paid. At this point I see these guys as total crooks.

NOT really within NZ

Ordered something for a christmas present, it says shipping within NZ and had a ETA date before the 23rd. I ordered it on the 10th Dec and it arrived 5th January from America. It's misleading customers to state its within NZ then you actually have to wait for it from USA. Won't order from this site again.

Terrible communication and customer service. They cancelled my order, after waiting weeks for it, and did not give me a refund. Do NOT recommend!

Order placed on 29th Nov as item noted…

Order placed on 29th Nov as item noted in stock with shipping immediate. On 1st Dec received second notification confirm items processed with tracking to follow. On 10th Dec received a third email to confirm tracking number but only 1 of the 3 items ordered was confirmed as shipped. On the 19th Dec I received a reply to my query advising that the 2 other items were out of stock which left me no time to order something else in time for Christmas. I am still waiting for a refund nearly a month later. I will never order from ToyCentral New Zealand again and advise others to avoid this online supplier.

False advertising that they ship within New Zealand

False advertising that they ship within New Zealsnd, waited for an extended period for item to ship and then they say its coming from America. I don't think they should be allowed to not say where they are actually based. So sad my child missed out on their christmas present, if I had known I never would have purchased from them.
Who knows if its good quality, I will probably still have to wait another 2 weeks to recieve it after they took 3 weeks to get it shipped. Only gave 2 stars because customer service does get back to you eventually even if they are no help.
