Very poor service, constant outages, excuses (blaming NBNCo), awful communications and overall a very frustrating and unpleasant experience trying to use and rely on TPG. Now I've cancelled, they socked me a big cancellation fee. Disgraceful. I will never, never use TPG again. Beware they are only interested in sales. Customer service is terrible. Website worse!
I currently have an active ombudsman complaint against tpg because there customer support is so piss poor that even something as simple closing an account is complex.
Good luck to anyone that goes with these guys they will just keep debiting your account and offer you a below par customer experience.

The TPG internet service is horrible. I can’t even watch a movie without the picture freezing constantly.
I’ve called customer service more than 20 times asking them to fix the issue, but nothing has been resolved. Now that I’m trying to cancel the service, they suddenly say they can’t verify my identity because my date of birth “doesn’t match.”
What doesn’t make sense is that every time I called previously to report the internet problem, they were able to verify my identity without any issues. But now that I want to cancel, they can’t verify it anymore?
This is extremely frustrating and feels like a joke. The internet service is unreliable, and the customer service experience has been very poor.

I wish I had read the reviews here before connecting with TPG. The customer service and service delivery are terrible. It's been nearly 2 weeks now that I’ve been waiting for my NBN Fibre connection. Whenever I call, they say they have escalated it with no resolution. I’m so annoyed — I haven't had internet for more than 10 days. DONT USE TPG. You will end up frustrated for no reason.

I requested to cancel my account multiple times and was asked to fill in identity verification documents (multiple times) as I could not access the account.
After completing this identity verification process multiple times, the account was not cancelled and there was no follow up by the company to process my request. They also continued to deduct money from my account for a number of months and they are yet to refund the amount.
Very disorganised, terrible customer service and I would highly advise that customers keep away. It’s fine when all is going well but as soon as you need some kind of customer service support it’s extremely frustrating and disappointing. The worst phone/internet company I’ve ever had to deal with.

I have been with TPG almost 18 Years. The services TPG provides getting worst. In pass 2-3 years my internet connection dropped off frequently. Requests had been lodged, only promises provided.

SUCH A BAD COMPANY STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMING FRAUDS
All I wanted to do is activate a mobile service. Submitted form, they took my money, SIM arrived and I can't even login to my account to activate it: error message, please contact us. So I contact them, they tell me I can't use my home phone in their online form to apply for a mobile service (even though this is a field/option on their own form!). They tell me I need to use a mobile to apply for a mobile service. Huh? So I try to update my details through a different form that gets emailed to me (because I can't even login to their website), and now they say they were unable to identify me and they require photos of my drivers license and of my face to be stored with them for three years (can't wait for my identity to be stolen in the next data leak). Begrudgingly I did all that and I'm *still waiting*. All I wanted to do was activate a mobile service, it's a week later and still nothing.
Spent an hour on the phone yesterday, most of it on hold, trying to get an update. Eventually the agent comes back and tells me they'll call me when they have the update. No one ever called back. No one called back today either. I'm convinced they were just waiting for me to hang up because nothing takes that long to check.
Do not give TPG your business, they are beyond useless - pay a little more and go elsewhere.
For the avoidance of doubt, if a TPG rep posts under this that they've contacted me or dealt with this, they are lying.
If I could give tpg minus 100 stars i would have spent over 3 hours the last 2 days trying to change my plan spoke to over 14 differant people no one can help what a punish of an experience I cancelled
Stay away! Real bad service, cant get a straight answer. Fast to charge you for your service but try to get a refund, good luck! Me and the wife both cancelled our service however, both got charged after. 2 months later still waiting for credit.
They reckon 1 credit has been approved snd on denied, no money and no answer why!!

TPG is a provider that does not have rollover. If you don't use all of it, they'll reset it and not allow you to use your leftover data from your previous month.
I was a TPG customer, but i moved to Felix Mobile, which is a better provider in my opinion.

I stopped them in three weeks ,send modem back and waiting still after 6 calls and 10 months for refund on modem ,it’s a joke

Terrible! Stay away from tpg! You’re paying a lot of money just to have internet connection outages. It’s not worth the money.
Applied and paid for a new mobile service. Received the sim and proceeded to get it activated. After many hours and six different operators, I am no further ahead. I have asked for A refund and was told to apply for another sim and A refund for the old one would be available after 21 days.
