Piece of junk - AVOID like the plague.

Piece of junk. Made my internet SLOWER and the repeater never connected. Just a blinking light no matter what I did. Customer support? Nope. They couldn't help at all (after days waiting to get someone to reply to me). Ended up smashing the thing with a hammer out of frustration. Ordered a different brand (Devolo) and that device worked right out of the box. Proves tp-link is junk, no clue how these people stay in business. AVOID like the plague.

Rubbish support

I purchased a tplink 300 wifi extender. Instruction sheet is printed in tiny grey lettering, and all the important instructions are extremely difficult to see.
Try to go to the link on the instructions repeatedly and browser says it doesn't exist. Go to the tplink website and spend ages looking for somewhere you can set up your device (there isn't anything)!
Download tplink tether app to smartphone, it finds the wifi extender. Use WPS to link extender to router. Instructions say wait until all leds are lit (in fact it means two sections will remain unlit)!
Open tether app on phone. App has found my router with all the correct info, but the SAVE button does not respond! After a lot more wasted time, I add a space after EXT and that allows the SAVE button to operate...
So far having the extender doesn't seem to have improved smartphone connection to wifi. Not at all impressed with tplink at all!
