I noticed that my tractive tracker was a little defective as it wasn’t charging properly. I wanted to contact the company but they contacted me before I could do it and I just wanted to say that I never saw customer support as good as this one.

Love that you can not only keep track of the cats routes / location but also of their health/ wellbeing. My cat doesn’t seem mind wearing it and it gives me the peace of mind when we are outside with him.

We lost a cat about six weeks ago, which devastated us. Our other cat, Tommy, is very much an outdoor boy. He hates being shut in, it makes him miserable, but I was constantly worrying about where he was. The Tractive Mini 6 has given me some peace of mind, because I can now see exactly where he is whenever I want to. I would recommend it to anyone who has an indoor outdoor cat, especially if, like Tommy, they’re an explorer. It’s also been an eye opener to see how far he roams - we live in the country. The tracker and subscription have definitely been money well spent.

We decided to get the extra large tracker for my mom’s walker when she developed dementia and still lives on her own (it had the most battery life of the all trackers at the time).The research we did, we found we got more instantaneous updates (while using the live feature) than we would using an AirTag. It has given her family a piece of mind that we didn’t have before. I know that this is not exactly the intended use for this device but it works for us. The customer service has been great too, when the tracker does encounter a glitch.

Genuinely disappointed. Paid for a year subscription. Both collars have fallen off my cats and are now “not connected to the network” therefore I cannot retrieve them. It seems as though as soon as they fall off the pet they stop transmitting a signal. There is a reason you can’t pay monthly to month. Because no one would continue to pay with how unreliable they are. Charge would only hold for less than 24hrs. I had such high hopes. Would not recommend.

after having lost our dog, I can’t imagine not having a GPS tracker. Tractive is so easy to use, the app is great and the device itself is very light and discreet.

Tractive helps me monitor my dog's health, and especially since he's still a puppy, I can see what needs improvement in his routine. I find the monitoring perfect when he's on a walk because it allows him to explore off-leash without fear. It's an excellent product.

Response to my query over battery life was handled very professionally and courteously. The procedure that was outlined was followed and the tracker is back to working effectively again. Many thanks.

We've used tractive for over 13 years and 4 dogs, so I guess that says it all.
The customer support has always been quick and helpful on the rate occasions I've used it, and it works, which gives me peace of mind. I also enjoy being able to track our walks for my own fitness journey, as I don't wear that kind of tech!

I don't use it to the full potential as I don't have anything on my dog when it's in the house, but I'll probably try to use it more when we're away in the caravan. I've recommended it to my friends so I guess that says it all!

We recently changed from a different tracker.
We have the XL because of the increased battery life. Whilst we are not seeing the length of time quoted, I’m sure there are things we can do to improve what we are getting. we are very happy as we are easily seeing 3 weeks between charges. The apps feature of live tracking is worth its weight in gold. Perfect for those ‘where have they disappeared to now’ moments on walks.

I had a great experience with Tractive’s customer support. My tracker stopped working, but their team responded quickly and handled the situation very professionally. They replaced the device without any hassle, and the whole process was smooth and efficient. It’s rare to see such fast and helpful service these days. Tractive is an highly effective, very easy to use system that identifies accurately where your dog is via the app on your phone. We have a young flighty pup, this system gives great peace of mind in terms of finding him when he takes to running away, it has proven invaluable.

We’ve been using the Tractive GPS tracker for our two farm dogs, and it’s made a noticeable difference in how we manage their adventures.

Living on a farm, our dogs have plenty of space—and plenty of curiosity. They’ll happily wander off to follow scents, check fields, or visit neighboring land, which used to mean a lot of guesswork and the occasional stress when they didn’t come back quickly. Since getting the Tractive trackers, we’ve had much more peace of mind.

The real-time GPS tracking is the standout feature. Being able to open the app and see exactly where each dog is, even when they’ve gone further than expected, is incredibly reassuring. The live tracking updates frequently enough to actually follow their movement, which is especially useful when we need to go and collect them.

We also like the virtual fence feature. Setting up safe zones around the farm means we get alerts if they wander beyond where we’re comfortable. It’s not perfect—there can be slight delays—but it’s been reliable enough to act as an early warning system.

Battery life has been decent considering how much ground our dogs cover. We typically get several days out of a charge, though heavy use of live tracking drains it faster. Charging is straightforward, and the devices themselves feel sturdy enough for rough outdoor use—mud, water, and the occasional scrape haven’t been an issue so far.

There is a subscription required, which is worth factoring in. For us, though, the added security and reduced worry easily justify the cost.

Overall, the Tractive tracker has been a very worthwhile investment for our setup. If you have dogs that roam, especially in rural or open environments, it’s a practical and reliable way to keep tabs on them without limiting their freedom.

I have a senior dog that's almost 14 who has somehow started slipping out of the house without being seen when the door is open several times a month. He has disappeared for hours at a time. Now that I have this tracker, it keeps me aware of where he is at all times and sends my phone a notification if he leaves. Today I suddenly got an alert and was able to track him down and get him home in under 5 minutes.

We were have issues with our Tractive gps tracker. The strap holding the tracker was broken. We contacted the company and they sent us a new tracker. Our dog is very active and loves to run. She will run after rabbits and deer. It’s comforting to know of her whereabouts.

My dog lost her GPS unit. When I emailed in to see if there was any way to find it once the battery died, I found out that my subscription included a replacement unit for free. I just needed to pay the shipping. ($7.00) I also learned about the light and sound function of the unit should the new one get lost.

Bought the tracker for when we are away and our nervous dog is with the sitter. The signal is great, and the battery lasted really well because of the ‘low energy mode’
