Company details

  1. Beverage Distributor

Written by the company

Trade Beverage was founded in 1990 with the inspiration to bring hand-selected fresh juice from Edgbaston to Bordesley to Birmingham, England. This idea started when owner LORY T YEH worked for a Beverages company near Birmingham Harbor while home for the summer from the University of Birmingham. His summer employer soon became his only supplier when Lory graduated from the University of Birmingham. Lory found an ambitious graduate from University that believed in his idea, Paul Packer. The two started selling Beverages and other snacks from a mobile refrigerator unit in the back of a Ford Pickup. They sold fresh Coca-Cola, Sprite, Schweppes, Ribena, Robinsons, Nescafe,7UP, PG, Tips, Fanta, and small amounts of Beers like Guinness, Heineken, Kopparberg, Bulmers and Peroni to a handful of restaurants. Within nine months they outgrew their vehicle and needed more space. In 1991 they opened Trade Beverage Market in the Edgbaston Shopping Center of Birmingham. They soon hired their first employee, who still works for the company! Sandy Loray. In 1992 Scott Packer, brother to Paul joined the company. The store was a success and the wholesale business continued to expand requiring more trucks servicing a greater reach of customers. The team was strong and business with retail stores and restaurants was out-competing their Edgbaston retail location. In 1993 they decided to move their entire business to a wholesale operation They soon outgrew the operation and in 1998 they moved into a 10,000-square-foot facility. The final move was made in 2000 to where we presently operate at 69 Great Hampton Street, Birmingham, B18 6EW. Over the years the company gained more ground and we successfully extended to several retail outlets in UK, Southern Asia, America and Europe Lory, Paul, Sandy and Scott still serve the same customers they started a business in the 80’s. The company continues to supply drinks 7 days per week to all its customers around the globe. Trade Beverage sustainably sources the finest and freshest drinks from around the world to serve our customers.

Horrible

Horrible.
I opened an account but I can’t access it due to a technical issue of mismatching codes
Tried to get support from the company since February. So far I received no response other than automatically generated mails that they will get back to me within 24 hours.
I can’t close the account either so I can’t stop them from debiting my credit card.
I have called them. Very friendly people. They will alert customer support. Or so they said.
Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t. I don’t know: I get no response. I blocked my card.
