We rented a car from Traffic and ended up with a very old car that had driven over 160,000 km, while the price of €560 was top notch compared to other rental companies.
In addition, we had to pay in cash because the company's card terminals did not work. It smells far away of cheating with tax and VAT. Definitely not a company worth using.
The company was otherwise recommended by our hotel ALKION, who very helpfully handled the contact with Traffic.
Is it necessary to say that the company's man was like sunk into the ground the second after we had been handed the key.

Konstantine at the Avra Imperial Hotel in Kolyumbari was a pleasure to work with. He gave us a van on relatively short notice without any fuss. His travel advice was also greatly appreciated

Good services and availability regarding disponibility of car, also regarding prices.

The reservation of the car was very uncomplicated, the lady was very nice, also spoke very good German and gave us a good tip for a round trip when asked. The car was in extremely good, mint condition. The price was fair.

From the front desk of Avra Imperial Resort we rented a Toyota Corolla for one day. I would expect a higher rate than a street rental but 200 euros for a day compared to 70/80 elsewhere is over the top. Never Traffic again

I am sorry to be so late in my post. In June I rented a car from them for 12 days from their desk inside the Avra Imperial Hotel in Kolimbari. They offer brand new or really recent models. Really good car, but, we accepted (lets say) a mid/high fare for the promise that for a day they would give us a Suzuki Jimny to go to Balos. Day later when we asked the exchange we were told that they were no longer available Suzuki Jimny because of the high demand….but but we could have rented one Suzuki Jimny for extra 65 euros! Crazy !
They also did not have an office at the airport and when I left the car in perfect condition at a multi-brand parking lot as previously instructed (I photographed the car in every detail before handing back the keys to guarantee myself) I was expecting (as promised from their clerk at Avra Imperial desk ) a call confirming that the credit card slip in their hand for the "excess" was been destroyed. There was plenty of time to have someone checking the car, we had 3 hours waiting before our flight and I had bought a sim card with a Greek phone number. It was very easy to call me, they had promised it to me. They never called me. After several emails to recall it to them and 2 faxes, I was able to talk to Agia Marina's head of office who, only by voice, assured me that the credit card slip was destroyed. During the renting time I discovered that at the delivery they did not marked the amount of gasoline and when I asked explanation an how I should had to behaved with fuel at the the redelivery I was replied to do as I wanted!

We are staying at the Avra Imperial resort in Crete, where Trafficrent ha an in-house shop. We kindly go to the clerk and ask him for the rates, since they do not appear on either their flyer or their website. He then asks us for how long; since we only need the car for a few hours I ask if they do half-day rentals. Answer: No!
Okay full day it is then. How about the rates? 60 euro for the cheapest, 3.500 for the most expensive; okay fair enough, could have specified further - but I would like to know the price-range before getting any further details.
He then tells us we are probably better off taking the bus or a taxi, then discards us and speaks to the next customer in line.
I would never rent a car with this company for this sole reason of him being this rude - especially when we are coming to him in their shop at a 5-star hotel! If this was the only car-rental on the island I would rather book online than have that jerk get the commissions!
