They don't have a working app to use the wifi feature

They sell a product "Traiden Inverter 23" that is suppossed to be able to connect to wifi. When we try to download the app, ut does not download because ut says that it was designed for previous version of Android. I am using a phone that is 15 months old.
I contacted the manufacturer directly to request a link for the updated app and they said they don't have one. She suggested that I should try to use an older phone. The wifi connection was the reason why I chose this unit over other units on the market.
