I bought the heavy duty wheel dolly set…
I bought the heavy duty wheel dolly set and trailer valet and it does not come close to moving a 7000 pound boat and twin axle trailer. No time or patience to try and contact trailer valet through their “automated” phone system.

Fail
The TrailerValet XL doesn't work with my 9,000lb trailer. The trailer was empty and it not only could not move it, but damaged the trailer metal tow receptacle. The TrailerValet may work with light trailers, but do not use it for a heavier trailer. Now I need to find some way to sell my TrailerValey XL. I regret this purchase.

Remanufactured RVR5
I bought the RVR5 to move my 4600# trailer around in my driveway. I use it to turn the trailer 180 degrees and back it into it's place next to the garage. It does the job, but the tracks are so hard that it doesn't get enough traction with 450# of tongue weight to move the trailer up a 2% incline on the concrete. I have to stand on it to keep it from slipping.
It did get tossed around a bit in shipping and a circuit board came loose. There were also some cable connections inside that came loose. I called the service people and they were very responsive and quick to send me the parts I needed to fix it.

Great concept but not-so-great…
Great concept but not-so-great execution.
There are several design flaws:
1. TIre inflator port is too long and is cathing the frame. Had to replace the tube once already.
2. Brakes engage prematurely after the slightest release of the handle.
3. Plastic ring from beneath the post got chewed up after 3 weeks of using.
4. No place to secure the handle when not in use.

It would be helpful to know which unit you are referring to. Is it the 5X or XL? Unless you have an older unit, all of our XL units have solid tires.
1. If the valve stem is catching on the frame, it usually means the inner tube is deflated and not at its recommended psi. Please check out our video regarding inner tubes- https://youtu.be/R1loct8hEIY
it is a very thorough video that goes into installation, proper usage, etc.
2. If the brakes engage at the slightest release, that means the brake is doing its job from letting the unit or your trailer get away from you.
3. Which unit do you have? We don't have anything plastic on our unit besides
the plastic sleeve inside of a jack tube for the 5X

Easy enough to install
Easy enough to install. Works well. But be careful to lift the brake handle all the way up before moving trailer. and keep it up during use. Otherwise there is extreme counter rotation on the drill and can cause wrist injury. Otherwise, great product and would recommend.

We take full responsibility and we send our deepest apologies. Our container with all the 5X units was delayed for a week and when we finally got the container due to another order we had to fill, we ended up with not enough units to ship out. This is not an excuse because we take full accountability, but this is what occurred. We let customers know if they were not able to wait until our new ship date in December then the order would be cancelled and you would be refunded. But if you were to be ok with waiting we were throwing in a free drill attachment for being so patient with us. I hope this clears up anything confusion or concerns for you. Product worked great for about 10…
Product worked great for about 10 minutes - then one inner tube let go. The root cause seems the value stem is really long for the application and manually bent. Bottom line the stem caught the roller housing and tore away.
Went back to the company and was told inner tube on back order or I could buy one from a distributor. I really feel the company put 100% of the design and or manufacturing problem back on me to procure, dissemble the product, replace the tube.
Defintely not the $500 user experience I was looking for !!

Thank you for your interest in Trailer Valet. We always recommend that our customers review the manual before installing and using our product. We recommend that our tire pressures are set to 82-83 psi to prevent any damages to the inner tires. In this case, if there is insufficient air in the tires, the valve stem will move out, causing it to get caught and ultimately tear. Used the trailer valet XL to move my 24ft enclosed car trailer and was pleasantly surprised with how well it worked! As long as you follow the instructions and use it on a flat surface it works exactly as advertised.

Great? Maybe, but don't count on any help
Ordered a JX-5S and received in a box that had fallen apart, missing the mounting parts. Spent 3 weeks trying to get them to replace it; sent me some mounting parts, but wound up sending me the wrong parts. Spent a week trying to get them to send the correct parts. Jack may or may not be great, can't tell, as I cant use it, thanks to customer service that is so disfunctional.

Our JX bracket is out of stock therefore we are sending out 5X mount bracket clamps that do fit just as well with your JX.
We know this looks a little off due to it being two different colors and having more holes on the 5X clamp, but we can assure you that when the customer service rep let you know of this, that is true. Great product, poor packaging
The product is great and I was very happy with it.
The packaging was ridiculous. It was sent only in the box that it would sit on the shelf in. It’s a very heavy item, and arrived with the box bursting at the seams. There was one piece of tape keeping it from falling apart, and it was obvious that no extra taping had been done to keep the flimsy box together.

Issues with design and support
We have used the Trailer Valet 5x for several years now and it does a great job putting our trailer where it needs to be in a tight space. Unfortunately, the tire tubes do not hold up. I placed an order 24 days ago for replacement tubes for my Trailer Valet 5x. I received an automated e-mail stating that they had received my order immediately after I ordered, but I have not heard anything since. I tried to e-mail their support with no reply. Also, I am not looking forward to replacing the tubes since it is not an easy design. It would be better if they would create a solid tire for the 5x. Another heads up - It is a $15 flat rate shipping and I only ordered two tubes and an attachment for my drill (A very expensive total of $91.97). I am ready to cancel the order and head to Tractor Supply to see if I can get tubes there instead. It would probably save me $70. I was ready to pay the price to get exactly what I needed, but I can't wait any longer.
