You have to bend over too far to use it,. Makes it difficult especially if you have to hand crank. That being said I still recommend it

5X is Outstanding piece of equipment that easily moved our 31 ft Airstream 50 ft up a 4% grade. Granted the airstream is empty but probably weighs 2500 lbs. Used the low gear with hand cranking but will use the high gear next time. Precision steering within an inch as needed. Did not have to do any major turns. It wasn’t clear to me on the website but there is pin you release when ready to move that lets the wheels pivot and then steer easily with the handle. Brake is activated by the handle gear locking mechanism. Very secure does not feel like trailer will run away at all. Highly recommend and I never usually write reviews. Will be getting an additional clamp to keep on boat trailer and use the 5X with that also.

Complete SCAMMERS! Look out! Stay away from these guys! I purchased a thousand dollar trailer valet on trailervalet.ca . The unit was completely useless. Now that I am requesting a refund I found out that the .ca site is run by a slimy litte company in Montreal called xtreme Vision imports. The email contact Ray Degani won't even reply to my emails. Now that I have a problem with the unit. These guys get your money and then completely ignore you when there is a problem. The people at trailervalet.com are no better than this guy. They simply told me that it's not their problem and I need to deal with Ray Degani from trailervalet.ca. now I am left with a thousand dollar useless paper weight. Trailer valet is a complete scam! Save your money . Spend a little more and get a parkit360. I hope this review can help someone avoid these horrible people.

It worked great for 6 months to a year then the cheap bushings wore out. luckily I work at a machine shop so I made some stainless bushings worked great smooth as butter. After a short while it started wearing the outer housing. So once again thankfully I have access to a Machine so I made some stainless plates and bolted them on the outside with the bushings. Now everything is like brand new only I have made your product 20x better so I guess now I have a modified trailer valet 20x. maybe try incorporating some of my design in yours and it will be worth having. If I hadn’t had a machine shop and the knowledge of how things work it wouldn’t have lasted a year.

It is a very good device to maneuver my boat to where I want it to go. Other than having to bend over while cranking it while moving it around it is fantastic. Definitely recommend for the elder sportsman who can't move there boat around like they used to.

Nice unit will certainly assist in moving pull behind rv into the storage unit.

Very quick delivery via FedEx. Easy install. The Traler Valet 5X seems very sturdy The tongue of my RPOD is a little tight since it also has a battery, propane tank, and anti sway hitch attachments, so there is not enough room to rotate the Trailer Valet to stow, but that is OK since it is easily removable. Tested it a little. Easy to hand crank on concrete with slight slope. Got the Valet on mud and it sank and the wheels lost traction, but that was expected. So far so good.
