Absolutely phenomenal customer service

Absolutely phenomenal customer service. I had a question about why I couldn't book the ticket I wanted, and got a very quick but detailed response explaining exactly what the problem was - and on a weekend too!

Customer service like this is an extreme rarity these days!

Always an excellent service

Always an excellent service for speed of booking and great prices. Website easy to use and very straightforward.
Had a recent problem with booking the wrong dates and when reported this on-line, their team got onto it immediately and Jonathan arranged everything without delay-a great example of a FIRST CLASS customer service operation.

Nightmare booking

I was having a nightmare booking myself & 4 others train tickets for an event in London.
Booked first 2 tickets on the wrong date & even month, rebooked those 2 tickets + 3 more tickets, only to be informed the following day the event was moved by a day.
I was pulling my hair out, I emailed Trainsplit customer relations trying my best to explain the proverbial hole I had dug myself into, whilst trying not to look like a total idiot (not sure that
worked ;-) ).
They were very helpful & efficient in explaining what exactly I needed to do, so they could help me with the different category refunds, minus admin charge for each ticket booking, which was happy to pay to have sorted this ticket shambles out.
Thanks very much to all staff that helped resolve this issue.

Amazing customer service

Amazing customer service, I got an auto email immediately but then a real one - from a real person (Adam) just a few minutes later. He suggested what the problem was and what I needed to do, which worked! If only other online providers had customer service as fast and efficient as this, the world would be a better place!

I have been using Trainsplit app for quite some months now and I would like to ALERT everyone that this app probably stores your search and revise the pricing ie increase it.

Just now, a ticket I was looking for tomorrow was showing me for £147 so I thought to change it to a later date which didn't make a difference so I looked at for tomorrow again. Astonishingly, the price now is showing me £252. Bloody hell, I would rather buy from the train company at a cheaper price now.

MY RESPONSE TO THEIR COMMENT
I'm a regular customer of Train Split so please STOP making silly excuses. I challenge you will find numerous bookings with the email you received with this review. However, I do find your response very dishonest and unprofessional.

Very importantly, in your second unprofessional response, you should apologise to call me a spam reviewer at first place. But you deleted your first raponse knowing your mistake without a apology. Seems like I'm dealing with a mad person. You mentioned something on this platform that I didn't intended to complain about anyway. And it's good for public to see such unpleasant and unprofessional comments.

Now that we’ve found your email thread, let’s set the record straight.

Your ticket was scanned and used, which means it’s not eligible for a refund, simple as that. We go by scan events, and once a ticket is marked as used, we can’t un-use it. That’s not our policy, that’s just how the rail system works.

Now, onto this claim that we magically inflate fares when people search… Sorry, that’s a conspiracy theory, not reality. Train ticket pricing is dynamic, yes, but controlled by availability, not by us. If you saw a fare jump, it’s because someone else bought the cheaper one before you. Happens all the time, and not just on our site.

So let’s not pretend this is some grand scam. You’ve used us before, you know how it works, and we’ve offered to investigate properly if you can share screenshots or links. Instead, you’ve posted a 1-star review with a load of accusations and no evidence. That’s not on.

If you’re still interested in saving money with us, great, our inbox is open. If not, you’re always welcome to book elsewhere. But let’s at least stick to facts.
