A specialist providing clarity and simplicity.

It's been over 2-years and we still haven't got our trademark. The staff lack the experience to deal with your queries. For example we have a UK based mark already and wanted to file internationally based on our foreign filing in the US. They didn't know this and we had to point it out. We paid £1360 and then waited. This was back in 20/06/2022 (two years ago). Finally they received an office action from USPTO last year and asked for a statement of use. Which is odd, as we thought we didn't need this when filing under foreign rights. Turns out we were correct, but we discovered this only closer nearing the 6-months deadline (as a result another 6-months delay). I don't even know at this point if they have done the filing correctly (I hope they have). It's totally unreliable. I get the feeling they seem to simply outsource this to random trademark attorneys and if like us you lack trademark knowledge across the various jurisdictions (which I suppose is true for most business people), you will be left guessing. Super unhappy with the service. They also take ages to reply. What's worse is that after the initial hurdle when we started filing with them, they haven't improved.

We have checked on the official website that TM is registered but they did not inform us of the certificate and did not even reply to the email. What a great follow-up service.

No refund, no communication, no reply.

Very slow to reply to emails and takes time to do anything.

The initial process was fine, and I included all relevant information regarding the nature of the work intended to be trademarked (the same information provided to other companies whilst shopping around).

The reply from the team was prompt but I suspected that a class may be missing or incomplete so I scheduled a follow-up call which was easy and clear to do (the missing category was suggested by other companies who’d been given the same information and also found by myself in my investigation).

The follow-up call was perfectly on time, but unfortunately the operative immediately introduced themselves and came in fast with some bluster about why them missing a category was my fault because of the initial information I provided. Strange when other providers had no such issue? Faults tend to fall into one of two areas: human error and system failure. This is a simple case of just saying ‘sometimes when we discuss a bit more, we do find other classes are indeed needed so thank you for spotting you might need additional considerations.’ Immediately trying to shift any accountability to a client literally in the introduction is unprofessional and as a representative of the company suggests an unwillingness to see faults in systems, which is a red flag. It may well be that the company is in fact much more reflective than this interaction suggests, but unfortunately this really put a bad taste in my mouth straight off the bat and I’m not really the sort to throw my money at people after they do things like this.

I ended the phone call quickly at this point and will be moving forward seeking to work with a team that communicates with their clients a little more professionally on all levels rather than tries to blame them for small oversights that rigid systems understandably sometimes fail to catch. A shame, as I was hoping to have a straight forward journey with this process and this company. I hope this perhaps adds a new line on the telephone script for the team to ensure better experiences for others in future.

This was a three star review but the subsequent reply to this review is obfuscating and further illustrates the disappointing conduct of the customer service of this company, failing to reflect and simply apologise and instead being defensive and trying to justify themselves.

The team at TramaTM were on-point and very helpful throughout the entire process of registering our Trademark. We had certain complexities which arose through the process and they were able to work hard to solve them with a positive outcome!

Convenient and efficient service

Trama have really been incredible to work with. I had some issues at the start but then I worked with an amazing support rep Patricia who stayed with me every step of the way and answered all of my questions in an incredible timely manner. The lawyer who helped with my filing was also incredible, she was so patient and I felt bad because I had to do a few revisions of my filing to make sure all documentation would match correctly so I appreciate the entire teams patience and understanding on this.
Honestly I felt like I had the best support rep and lawyer on my case :). After I filed my final revisions my trademarks were quickly submitted. I really like their website as well as it is quick and easy to use. How it houses all of your submissions and you can see the progress update! The free lawyer checks are also amazing, once you get your result you can submit it with ease and ask the lawyers any questions on any parts of the form when you submit it. I THINK THIS IS INCREDIBLE. You dont need to phone the lawyers or send many emails back and forth, if you have a question on the class, or the address info, or other parts of the form you can put in line comments which they respond to. I thought this needed a massive callout because not many sites/firms would have this functionality. So really the entire process for filing is quite seamless! The hardest part is just getting the right trademark you want to lodge! :)

Absolutely amazing experience. Competitive pricing, very responsive. They are very good at determining if your trademark is eligible for registration - for one of them they weren't 100% sure it will go through smoothly and we decided to take an insurance with them for a very small fee. The things got complicated as we were contacted by another company that already has similar trademark registered. They took over all the communication, all we had to do was sign some documents and they resolved the case in favor of both companies... Really couldn't wish for a better company when registering trademark.

I had good experience with Trama. they donot have dedicated 1-1 service, so everytime, you got to talk with different people, which is bit annoying, except this, all rest goes fine.

Competitive pricing + nice user experience.
Our application was initially refused because of a small issue which came as a frustration, but I was happy with the way the issue was handled after the fact.

Forget going down the IP Accelerator route. It costs way too much and Amazon’s partner are old school legal firms who want to extract thousands from you and take ages to do anything. Trama on the other hand provide a quick, cheap and efficient service that is consistent with customers expectations in these modern times. Fantastic service. Thank you Trama!
