At first inquiring about my retirement due to medical reasons I was extremely frustrated. I was not getting answers to my questions. I eventually spoke with a kind gentleman that walked me through everything and was able sign everything electronically. so I was all set until my employer gave your my separation date information. I used the app and website quite often and was very helpful in getting info i was searching for. Thank you!

The issue has not been resolved. The rep said that he would check on into the situation and get back to me by the end of the same week. I still have not heard back from Transamerica regarding funds that were deducted from my paycheck at my prior employer and which have not been applied or invested into my 401k account during the month of February 2026 and possibly the first week of March 2026.

The phone call was fine. What was not ok is the cost of moving a 401K to another company. I was charged $75 to accomplish it. I was told I HAD to use the paper form because I am 74 years old and you had to check to see if I was taking required disbursements. Well surprise I am not required to take disbursements because I am still working.

I called in confirming the date that my payment would process to pay off my loan and the rep put me on hold twice and then honestly did not give me a straight forward answer.

The staff were very helpful, however TransAmerica did not properly coordinate my direct deposit instructions and I still have not received my check which I was “apparently”mailed on May 1.
