I had a product with a small (probably) lithium battery inside. I wanted to know if I could put it in the hold or if I would need to bring it in the cabin. For reliable info I went to transa... See more

We checked in for our flight to… get ripped off 130€
We checked in for our flight to Mallorca, we paid for additional check in luggage and additional carry on. (So much for a low cost airline! NOT!) At the gate they were strictly checking every trolley, our trolly was less then a centimeter too wide.. we were forced to check in our trolley for 65€ a piece… Never did we had any issues with our trolleys before, and we are frequent flyers! So 130€ for 2 trolleys that were less than a cm too wide, completely disproportionate! Thank you Transavia, never again!!!
The most awful airline ever!!
The most awful airline ever!!! Im a refugee from Ukraine and they have lost my baggage with all the staff I have after missile attack!!! They don’t reply, they don’t want to resolve the situation! Do not choose this company if you want to receive you baggage!!!
Our handluggage was rejected at the…
Our handluggage was rejected at the gate after already paying to have it in the flight cabine with us. They have strict rules in which the standard luggage compartment measures do not fit! Even a small handle sticking out is enough for them to make you pay 65 euros per luggage. They have smaller measurements than all other companies. And the nasty part is that you do not get the money you paid already for the luggage back. If you travel with hand luggage with this company it is much better to check it in. This feels like a nasty move from transavia and ruining my vacation experience before it starts.

Every time at least 1 hour late and always so rude..this is the last time I throw my money to them!
A scam airline company.
A scam airline company.
The on board luggage measures are slighty smaller than most other companies, so that they can force you to pay a 65 euro fee and then STILL load your bag in the underside of the plane.
Other than that they were late and the staff really rude.
Never flying Transavia again!
Won’t even write much as all reviews speak for themselves, this airline is unreliable and lacks empathy for its clients, I took a trip to Barcelona, paid for check in luggage and until today I haven’t gotten my luggage or any updates on it. It’s costing me money and enjoyment
Service not inclusive for all passengers
The Flight Services and Instructions are only made in Dutch.
Not a inclusive and/or safe service.
Transavia in free fall with an avalanche of cancellations and abysmal customer support.
Transavia used to be a fairly reliable low cost (but often also pricey) no frills airline, but starting this year the KLM subsidiary is falling off a cliff.
I had the pleasure of being on two canceled flights within a week, and handling by the airline was simply unacceptable. Stranded passengers were handed a form explaining them their rights, but hands on support to find alternative flights was nowhere to be found. Passengers are left to their own resolve making alternative arrangements.
Ground staff at Eindhoven airport was absent and all support is only to be gotten through phone or WhatsApp - Both channels which are either unreachable or not responding.
My second cancellation happening today had the lucky circumstance that airport (not airline) ground staff were able to rebook me on an alternative flight departing the next day, albeit I’ll be landing in a neighboring country forcing me to add a 5 hour train ride to reach my final destination.
Stranded passengers in line behind me could not be helped as the airline ordered airport staff to stop all rebooking and asked enquiries to be redirected to aforementioned black hole channels.
This airline’s service and support is bad to such an extent that an audit and corrective measures by aviation authorities are mandated urgently. Depending on handling my compensation, I’m considering launching a formal complaint with relevant supervisory bodies to stop this airline from operating in this irresponsible manner.
Transavia, incompetent grifters. Avoid.
Transavia flight HV6730. Let's adres the grift first. Their new boarding policy is a complete scam. Handluggage that does not fit under the seat is no longer guaranteed with the ticket, only THE FIRST 70 pieces are allowed on board, the rest will have to go into the hold. They offer priority boarding for 22 euros per person, per flight, but what they don't tell you, is that everyone on the flight can buy priorty boarding. The Airbus a321neo has a max capacity of 220 passengers. You see where this is going. Boarding process has 3 zones, zone 1 are all the people that fell for the priorty boarding scam, more than half of the passengers. Zone 2, people stupid enough to pay extra (me) to sit in the front, thinking overhead luggage is guaranteed and the seating is more spacious. And at last zone 3, people that just bought a ticket, no extras, the smart ones I found out. Boarding was a complete mess, zone 1 passengers shoving, pushing and fighting to be one of the first 70, ultimately led to people being told they cannot bring their luggage on board while having paid for priorty. Next were zone 2, "sorry, we've given your overhead compartment space to all the people in zone 1 even tho you paid extra for your seat." When arriving in the cabin everyone had to the tell the main FA their seat numbers again because Transavia messed up. They sold already reserved seats to priorty boarders and were overbooked. People that had bought seats in isle 9 now had to sit somewhere in the back, no apologies. All this idiocy made the whole boarding process take 50 minutes. This was completely avoidable, but because of Transavia's insane boarding policy and incompetent crew, we now missed our assigned departure slot. The flight itself was miserable. Transavia has managed to make the Airbus a321neo, a brand new model, one of the worst and cramped flights ever. I am only 168cm tall and my knee hit the seat in front of me and I was shoulder to shoulder with my neighbour. I was sat in row 4, for which I paid extra, but I had no extra legroom, was not allowed to board earlier and my handluggage was not guaranteed. I bought exactly nothing. During the flight, which was now 4 hours long due to the boarding fiasco, you are not given anything, no water, no coffee nothing. They do offer you to buy snacks and drinks for a hefty premium. 20 minutes before landing, they made the announcement that they would now walk by with luxury items! Are you seriously selling cheap watches and perfumes?! Absolute grifters. When we landed, we we're delayed 1 hour and 10 minutes, and the most astonishing thing happened, the plane halted at a gate that was completely dark. When the captain asked the cabin crew to turn on the lights, they were too busy grabbing their own gear from the overhead first, completely missing the announcement. It took them a couple of minutes realizing we were at the gate and they needed to turn on the cabin lights. Next the pilot announced to open the doors. He must have been flying blind because the gate was still dark and there was no tunnel or stairs! It took a full 10 minutes before the groundcrew of a different aircraft noticed us trapped and walked over with flashlights to check on us. All this time, the cabin crew was dead silent, avoiding eye contact and questions. Finaly the tunnel was attached to the aircraft and people could disembark. Shouting in the tunnel. All the Transavia ground personel left and the doors at the end of the tunnel to the airport were still closed! Ultimately a passenger broke open the door! Arriving at bagageclaim, there was a crowd of around 150 yelling at the Transavia desk. Apparently they messed up 2 other flights that landed just before us. This was by far the worst experience I had with an airline ever, I've never met cabin crew that didn't know what they were doing and honestly didn't care either. I've flown many times with Transavia pre-covid and I was astounded how much it has changed in a money grabbing scheme. Maybe even worse then Ryanair. Never again.
Transavia used to be a decent airline. Never again.
Transavia used to be a decent airline. Now the tickets prices are out of control and 9 out of 10 times you will fly with a random operator. This time we fly with Smartwings on 737 max 8. Yes the planes that were grounded due to catastrophic failures that led to crashes and brought Boeing down. You are responsible to inform your clients and let them chose weather they are willing to put their life at risk or not. Transavia only sent a mail that there will be a trusted partner operating (as any other random partner that they charter from to not loose money). If you dont have enough planes you might as well not book flights you cannot operate yourself. This is unacceptable. No surprise the company itself is on the verge of collapse. Never again.
the worst planes (BOEING always…
the worst planes (BOEING always broken), and the worst air company never experienced.
At the airport they have no personnel to help or assist in case of delays * I had a delay of 26 huous and no one helping us.
And if you call the customer service, well...that is not customer service. I would really advise everyone not to fly with them.
Terrible call center of transavia
Terrible call center of transavia. The agent lie to you and they close the telephone in face of you. They do not want help. The agents are located in countries where the labour probably is cheap and they do not care about customers. Terrible call center of transavia!!!!!
A bad Airliner
A bad Airliner, looks like they are about to go bankrupt. What happened.
On holiday in Jordan with Transavia, at the end of the holiday on a Sunday, no plane in Jordan due to the troubles between Israel and Iran, the airspace was closed for several hours. No message from Transavia and you couldn't reach anyone because they are only available during office hours. We contacted them during office hours, but they could not do anything for us, even though we had tickets. Ultimately I bought tickets with stops to Amsterdam via Royal Jordan, which is a decent club.
Scam
I paid for a flight, and later they come up with an email saying I have to pay more taxes since the government increased the flight tax. No Transavia this is not how it works. You pay for that if it wasn’t agreed in the original price. Now they threaten to block me checkin in and don’t reply to my email.
Major inconvenience and costs
In September 2023 our flight to Bordeaux was delayed, this happens. Upon our return to Eindhoven, the flight was delayed and eventually cancelled due to technical fault of transavia. This was around 23:00, so we needed to find a hotel. I made hotel reservation ASAP. Upon checking in, we were told the hotel was full. The only place available was @24:00 was twice as expensive - we had to take it. When the restitution came, I was told transavia only pays up to €120 for hotel. So the rest was for our expense.
VERY BAD !
VERY BAD !
No service.
No style.
No food.
Transavia is ... and ....
Brown ... stinkt
Trustpilot auch.
never book a car using the transavia…
never book a car using the transavia website. We had some issues with it, the car company charged me extra.
The only thing transavia is saying, we cannot help you with a booking of a car only flights.
DO NOT USE - UNRELIABLE!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
DO NOT USE!
They changed our flights and confirmed we would be compensated and then changed their mind, we are not out of pocket by £400 that they confirmed would be refunded, I sent my detailed and then they changed their mind.! This was my birthday trip also- a complete disaster. TRANSAVIA IS SO UNRELIABLE - avoid!!!!!!!!!
Worst airline
Travelled with them and the flight got the delayed. We arrived in Milan and missed our connection and we had to sleep on the airport. Emailed, called them, and texted them on whatsapp regarding a compensation, but it’s been a year and they ignored us since. Don’t fly with them. Earlier experiences as well they changed the date of the flight
I do not understand negative reviews
I do not understand negative reviews. I fly with transavia last 5 years. What I find the most compelling is that that they allow you to check in handluggage so you're not hassling with it thru the plane. They never cancelled my flight. Flight attendants are not super feminine as with other airlines but they are tollerable. Seats are larger than in other low cost companies and I love their flexible policy. i highly recommend Transavia especially if you're flying from the Netherlands.
