Another unforgettable holiday all created by Mags @ Travel Lightly. This was holiday number 5 booking through Mags. We gave her our budget and our bucket list destinations and she created a bespoke trip. From start to finish her individualised approach is 2nd to none. Check in issues all take care of by Mags. Advice and guidance and top tips for our trip were invaluable. LA - Virgin cruise - San Francisco. It really was a pinch yourself trip the memories are so amazing they might just keep us going till the next time.
If you are thinking about a holiday DO IT! Life really is too short. I would have no hesitation recommending Mags she really does create the most amazing experiences. You will feel very supported ❤️

We are serious cruisers. Planning for a new holiday, Mags wanted to know what we liked to do on holiday, as we travel on luxury ships, she understood the level of quality we were looking for, she gathered information - and to our surprise she came back after planning suggesting a luxury holiday on Mauritius. We had never thought about Mauritius as a holiday destination for us, but she convinced us it ticked all our boxes in terms of culinary delights, exceptional service and world class experiences in a superb resort. Lesson learnt, let your travel advisor get to know about you preferences, listen to them and you might find yourself on a holiday of your life time. Mags knows what she talks about and delivered way above our expectations. She is now our dedicated travel adviser for time to come

A mutual friend put us in touch with Mags when organising our honeymoon. We were immediately impressed with our initial contact as Mags seemed genuinely interested in what we hoped to achieve. We found our experience of booking with Mags so easy & massively helpful. Mags was fantastic at listening to our wants & wishes, pulling together some brilliant options for us & giving us so much detail with it all it made it so much easier to chose what was right for us. Not having the worry of booking lots of things separately & knowing it was all in hand was super.
We will most definitely keep Mags in mind for future bookings & recommend to others.

I contacted Mags to help arrange a surprise trip for my husband’s birthday. It involved getting different family members to the same destination before us. All went very smoothly and we all enjoyed a lovely holiday. I think where Mags stands out is that she very quickly gets what you want and her communication skills are second to none. Looking forward to my next trip which of course Mags has arranged.

After a holiday disaster 3 years ago and mobility problems for my husband, we were very wary about travelling again. I remembered Mags (friend of a friend) and contacted her - one of the best things we have ever done!

From location to accessibility issues (crucial) Mags thought of everything and answered our questions before we had even thought of them. Everything was taken care of, including some extra thoughtful touches,which resulted in a totally stress free dream holiday. Perfect personalised travel

Mags is wonderful. She helped me plan a holiday with my young adults in Greece and it was brilliant from start to finish,

She has also given me excellent advice and service for a solo trip to barbados and made the whole experience really very special.

I have just been in my second trip planned by Mags and she is currently looking into a future trip for me.
She listens to what I am looking for and provides options based on my wishes and even more. She listens when I want to tweak things and finds solutions rather than causing problems. She keeps me informed and her travel app is easy to use to keep me on track, particularly important on my recent tour. Nothing is too much trouble for her. A truly personalised service. She always gives the impression nothing is too much trouble. Date of experience given was date of my return from my latest trip. Mags gave us a heads up when she was made aware of a potential problem notified to her by one of the airlines so we were prepared. I look forward to finalising plans for that next trip through her too.

Wow! What can I say about the experience with Travel Lightly. Got in touch to arrange a big birthday trip with 2 locations in mind - Costa Rica and Sri Lanka. The suggestions that came through were amazing and much better than what we could have found ourselves. The booking process was straight forward, and as the date of travel approached, Mags' helpful reminders to get visas and the perfect touch of the travel document holder were amazing. Will not hesitate to get in touch to book next year's holiday, the help and support was invaluable. Oh, and the app, that was amazing! To have all our info on a complex 5-centre holiday was just fantastic!

Travel lightly made my once in a lifetime special birthday holiday the absolute best that it could be.
Nothing was too much trouble for Mags, absolutely everything was sorted out.
And there wasn’t a single thing we could have improved on with the hotel experience, I can’t believe there could be a better one anywhere.

Just back from another fantastic holiday seamlessly set up once again by Mag’s at Travel Lightly.

Last year she took on a complex 3 centred trip for us and this year we entrusted her with a special Anniversary celebration and she did not disappoint.

Mag’s gave us sound advice on where to go and stay, not what we asked for .. and she was right! She thinks of all the smallest details as well as the practicalities of checking in, completing the right forms in time and waiting time between transfers as well as being picked up and collected. Take the pain out of travel and do yourself a favour - call Mag’s.

Mags really listens to what you need in a holiday, our trip covered everything we asked for and more. Not having to do all the organisation, booking and not having the stress of you getting it wrong was just fantastic. Already planning my next trip with her!

Wow, just got back from our once in a lifetime trip to Iceland. Thank you so much Travel lightly for putting together such a personal unique package, From the start Mags at Travel lightly listened to the kind of holiday and planned it accordingly down to the finest detail. Trips to see the Northern Lights, whale watching and food tour. Even when the weather prevented us from doing the Northern lights, Mags has sorted out the refund as unfortunately we were unable to do a different day. We have such special memories, thanks to Travel lightly we had a wonderful holiday, So if you are thinking of a once in a lifetime trip with the personal touch give Travel lightly a call you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I are just back from a trip organised by Mags,(we only arrived home yesterday but I couldn’t wait to write a review!) Her attention to detail is quite outstanding. As this was a special trip for us to celebrate a special anniversary we had a number of specifics and had requested a little bit of luxury and she did not disappoint. Mags nailed it. If you’re looking to book a holiday with someone who listens to exactly what you want, don’t go anywhere else but Mags. We will be back again and again.

Maggs pulled off the almost impossible!

I’m such a difficult customer - it comes from a place of being neurodivergent and massively fussy.
Many times we have either not travelled at all as I can’t find a suitable accommodation or we get there and I’m so uneasy we have to leave.
I’m only sorry it’s taken me 6 months to write this review.

My husband and I run separate businesses as well as having a family, when the opportunity arose for us to be able to take the first sunshine holiday in years, we stared to look online.
We searched and trawled to no avail, then I remembered Maggs, whom I’d met through business, was an independent travel consultant.
With only 3 days to go to the window of travel for us, I reached out and asked her to find me the impossible - 7 nights, not too far, fly and flop but with things to do should we wish, really great food and above all spotlessly clean.

Well she came back with 3 fantastic options, all of which were more than suitable. We decided on Rhodes - one week at the Gennadi Grand Resort.

It was quite late when we arrived as there had been storms over Europe and some delays. A couple of little niggles with our in room facilities and arrival but after a quick email with Maggs the issues were sorted.
We proceeded to have the most relaxing stay with good food and a beautifully clean room with private pool.

Maggs arranged flights, extra legroom for my exceptionally tall husband, lounge passes and the wonderful accommodation in record time.

I tell everyone looking to travel to get in touch with Travel Lightly, indeed have asked Maggs to help us plan our next trip and I would suspect we will continue to do so for all future travel.

Mags and Travel Lightly made our trip to Lanzarote so easy! Mags was so helpful in helping us find a great hotel to stay in, and supported us fully when our flights got delayed a day. We were always kept up to date which really settled the nerves! Thanks Mags!

Just back from our 2nd trip booked with Travel Lightly. They were the same price as booking directly with P&O but I felt getting all our tickets sorted personally by Mags was so much easier. Thanks again and looking forward to our next cruise in March xx

Mags and I worked together in Jamaica (a while ago!) when Mags was working for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Mags would always go on interesting trips and we'd enjoy the stories when she returned. Fast forward to 2024. Tom and I were lucky enough to be invited to the Paris Olympics and we decided to tag on a holiday at the end. Contact was made with Mags (knowing that she would immediately understand what we wanted) and an outline of what we would like to do. Options were presented by Mags and honestly could not have been more spot on for us . We throughly enjoyed our 4 day break in Loire Valley and the hotel choice Relais de Chambord was an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much Mags - you ticked all the boxes for us.
