Very good service in the eventuality of a problem.
Anyone can make mistakes, it's how you handle them that makes service good or bad. I recently had a problem with a ticket booked through travelperk for a business trip, the luggage allowance was different on the app than on the actual airline ticket. I called them, they immediately verified the information, agreed that it was their mistake and they refunded me for the full price of the extra luggage fee. The experience was very smooth and professional. THIS is what makes service great.

Dishonest CS agent wasted hours of my time
I was trying to return home to the States and the booking had an issue where the ticket and booking were no longer linked/associated with each other, so the airport check in desk cannot check me in even though they can see that I have a booking. There were 3 other passengers on the same flight with the exact same issue and they resolved it by calling their booking agencies/ airlines.
When I called TravelPerk, it took them 1.5 hour to return my first call after I called in 2 more times for update. At this point, I already missed my flight and all the international connections.
Then I asked if they have actually contacted American Airline yet (it’s operated by another airline but sold by AA) they proceeded to say that AA customer service was closed… I told them that I JUST got off the phone with AA so I know they were not closed. I even gave them the AA number that I used to call.
TravelPerk called me back 30 minutes later, “We have been on hold with AA for over an hour and they did not pick up.”
Meanwhile, I actually called AA again in that 30 min window and got another agent to start rebooking me. I merged the two calls and told the TravelPerk agent that AA picked up my call within a minute and is on the line with them. The TravelPerk agent panicked, rambled and said something like “I’ll report this bug back to the product team.”
This is an extremely disappointing experience coming from a company claiming to provide a 7 star customer service. I would have given zero star for this experience if I could. It’s fine if you cannot figure out the root cause but please, at least don’t treat your customers like they are clueless and lie.

I use TP for all my air travel
I use TP for all my air travel, both business and private, which is extensive. Simply put, I cannot imagine going on the road without them. Whenever I need to change or cancel, they are available and help me out. They are not a BOT, but real people who are knowledgeable and empathetic to my needs. TP is the closest you can get to making travel less of a pain.

I no longer have to wait a month for reimbursement
This is a great service for employees. I don't have to worry about paying for my journeys and stays for work, then having to submit receipts and wait for reimbursement. I plan my journey, submit for approval, and everything is managed from there. Tickets and reservations emailed directly to me. Couldn't be simpler.
