Ordered two Bold suitcases worth $300 each. One arrived defective. My first experience with customer support was insulting. He offered me 15% off my NEXT purchase as a show of “good will.” I was offer... See more

Disappointed that I had to pay $27.56 in both shipping and taxes for replacement parts, despite the "Travelpro will cover the expense of shipping the repaired or replacement bag back to you." As you can see from multiple other reviews, they have clearly gotten this feedback long before but have not addressed it.
Furthermore, I live downtown in a major city that only had repair centers 1-1.5 hrs one way in the suburbs.
I reached out to local luggage repair centers downtown who confirmed they were denied TravelPro repair status because they also supported Briggs and Riley.
The front wheel of my Travelpro Platinum Elite Carry-On Spinner broke after 2.5 years of medium use, flying 20ish flights a year. For a suitcase from one of their more premium suitcase lines, I was disappointed to see this wheel deteriorate so quickly.

Wow, I wish this information would have been more readily available before the purchase of my luggage. TravelPro is recommended everywhere for their high quality and warranty they provide. However, the warranty is a complete sham! Like others have said, after a year, TravelPro not only makes you pay $25 +fees to ship replacement parts, the consumer is expected and required to replace faulty parts themselves. My bag came defective and because I reached out in a year and 4 months they won't send replacement parts unless I pay for shipping.
I would never recommend this company and am truly sorry to have had money wasted on a defective product and scam of a "lifetime" warranty.
UPDATE: I still haven't received any word from TravelPro on this site or anywhere else or a new handle. Their customer service truly is abhorrent.

What is lower than one star????
I bought a brand new bag Dec 31, 2025 for over $400.00. Used it for one trip during which a wheel broke off.
After many many calls, I was REFUSED a new bag and was sent wheel replacements. No directions, no tool.
My husband and I tried for 1 1/2 hour to figure out how todo it. NO LUCK!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM TRAVELPRO

Great product design and durability. I purchased a carry on a couple years ago, and now a full size. Love the way everything works, from various compartments, system for keeping hang up clothes unwrinkled and easy to use combo lock.

Got only 1 refund and still waiting on the 2nd refund - both items in same box and arrived to them 2/11/26.
They claim they can't locate the 2nd item and unable to give refund.
Return 2 items of different order numbers. Returned online, got 2 RMA numbers and 1 shipping label. Put both items in 1 box with the printed return label.
Very unprofessional - will not buy from again.

Order #700101677865
FedEx return received at Travelpro warehouse 2/11/26
Still waiting for refund and they claim that warehouse never received it and unable to give refund - obviously they lost it!!!!

Brought 2 identical suitcases, one arrived with a TSA lock as per spec, the other did not. Contacted customer support who replied "While two suitcases may appear similar or be purchased at the same time, they may belong to different models or production runs, and therefore may not include identical features" Absolute bonkers. You also only have 30 days to report any issues - Will never purchase from Travelpro again.

Overall, satisfied about my purchase. I bought a luggage prior as a trial under the “100 day satisfaction guarantee,” but apparently since I bought it on sale/on a discount, it wasn’t eligible for me to make a return label myself. Upon contacting customer service, they stated it wasn’t eligible at first, but admitted they were wrong when I pry my reasoning being it wasn’t a final sale item nor was it on their page of final sales.
So overall, customer service sometimes have no idea what they’re talking about on their policies, so be prepared to go through days of going through right department if it’s a complicated issue and hope they don’t leave your ticket# hanging.

I bought a TravelPro suitcase specifically for the warranty. While the suitcase seemed well made, one of the zippers of the side pocket recently broke on it, and while it wasn't a major failure it was annoying. I decided to check with TravelPro to see if they could repair it. Customer service decided that this wasn't repairable and that they would send a different model as replacement. However, they are asking for a $25 shipping fee, while the warranty on their website clearly states that "Travelpro will cover the expense of shipping the repaired or replacement bag back to you." If their own customer service is refusing to honor the language on thir website, how can I even trust them in the future!
UPDATE: A couple days after posting this review Travelpro replied to my ticket and waived the shipping fee.

This is the perfect size when I need to pack for a week. It’s a beautiful and classy piece.

Solidly built bag. Just took it on its first trip last week - lots of space, well organized pockets. Any time you find yourself going, with any other bag, "man, it'd be nice if I had so-and-so over here", well, this bag has it. Smart, smart design.
Sturdy zippers help it squish down tons of heavy (winter!) clothes. Spinner wheels truly feel 360 - I could push this thing anywhere in the airport, weave around oncoming passengers, you name it. Feels solidly built - you can chuck it around, good heavy handles on side and top so you can carry it down crowded aisles or yank it off a luggage carousel. I'm sure the baggage porters were straight-up throwing it to each other on the runway.
Great bag!

My TravelPro Suiter experienced a cracked wheel. Reached out to their customer service in November, filled out their online form etc. Got an email asking for more info. Provided it. Nothing…. So emailed again to follow up. Nothing….. While the bag has served me well, in general, everything was fine… until it wasn’t. Then you discover the warranty is primarily ink (or electrons) and customer service - no follow through.
Update 2/24/26 - TravelPro reached out to me through this platform and sent me a new suitcase. No charge for shipping. So changed from (1) star to 3, the reason not more additional stars was because it took so much effort on my part and finally posting on here to have them finally live up to the warranty. The new unit seems less substantial than my old one. We’ll see how it holds up in the field. Appreciate that they stepped up.

Overall great quality of products. Never had an issue with costumer service. Getting some frequent use of my luggage and they are holding true to its quality.

smaller than expecting, don't like the zippers. will not be able to use for travel too small. can't return since it was a final sale, otherwise I would have returned it.

I bought the first blue camo suitcase from Travelpro.. then I liked it so well I ordered the rolling tote. It was great too.., then I thought I need a bag I can carry on top of the rolling tote bag… so I bought the nice zippered tote too. They all go so well together… the 2 Navy blue bags match perfectly with the Camo suitcase. And the zippered tote bag has a sleeve that slides right onto the handle of the tote ! Very happy with my purchases!

Luggage is so well made, plus it looks great. Have used Travelpro luggage for a while and I love it. Wouldn’t consider using anything else.

The dimensions of the carry-on product I received are significantly different than what they described on their website. This may lead to the product being rejected at the gate and having to check it at a substantial cost and inconvenience. The support agent tried to pass it off that the website just informs you of the size it should be to pass requirements for majority of airlines. This was just an attempt to make it my fault for misunderstanding. I went back to the product description, copied and pasted it but there was still no acknowledgement. I went to the return and exchange portal but it can't find my order. Had to get back on with the AI concierge. I waited 35 minuted for a support agent to help with the return. Had to give up, no support agent joined the chat. What a nightmare. Don't order anything from this company

Travelpro UK delete customer reviews left on their website. I assume this happens in the USA. Do not trust this company!

TravelPro does not honor its warranty
We bought three suitcases from TravelPro two years ago. We liked the warranty. When one of the handles broke, (won't retract all the way so you can't stow in the overhead compartment on airplanes), I sent photos, filled out a complaint form and was rejected because they no longer carry the parts after two years. My issue is the extension handle doesn't work. This is covered by a ten year warranty per my tag. I also registered the suitcase when I bought it.
Here is what they wrote me: "Unfortunately after further review, we do not have the required parts available for repair. Once a collection line has stopped production, replacement parts may be stored only 1-2 years after. Please note, normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturer nor material defect.
We still will like to make things right. As a loyal customer, we will offer you a 15% discount on any new Travelpro® product listed on Travelpro.com.
