Hey scammers
You can send long replies on here but cannot reply to any emails I have sent on official channels regarding my refund. No contact via email or call for over 2 months and I’m still waiting my refund of just under £4000 . Money you took within minutes and not refunding back . FYI having spoken to the airline directly , they refund form there side is done , it’s you you not communicating or refunding customers now!!!
And since you asked here is my booking reference number - 3873300 and Your Booking No TH3400718.
You must know why there are two !!

Very poor experience with TravelUp. I paid for a return ticket, but only a one-way ticket was actually booked. There was no clear communication, and customer support was practically non-existent—no replies to calls or emails.
After chasing them, they claimed the return flight was “cancelled” and said the refund would take 5–6 weeks, which is unacceptable for an error on their side.
I would strongly advise others to avoid this platform and always verify bookings directly with the airline.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
TravelUp’s support is beyond unacceptable. You’re constantly told you’re “3rd in the queue,” yet end up waiting close to an hour every time. It feels deliberately misleading and completely disrespectful of your time.
It takes an absurd number of calls, easily 15 or more, just to get through to a human. And when you finally do, after hours wasted, they don’t help. They just brush you off with “we’ll get back to you on the ticket” and then disappear. No follow-up, no response, no accountability.
Even a simple change of date is handled poorly. You’re quoted inflated fees that make no sense, often higher than booking a brand new ticket for the same route. It feels like opportunistic pricing rather than genuine support.
The communication is terrible. The team struggles to understand basic issues, and responses feel scripted, generic, and completely disconnected from what you’re actually asking.
Email support is even worse. Messages go unanswered for days or even weeks, leaving you completely stuck with no way forward.
Overall, the entire operation feels chaotic, unprofessional, and frankly incompetent. If anything goes wrong with your booking, you’re on your own.
Avoid this company at all costs. Not recommended under any circumstances.

A shit company, its been 2 months trying to contact them to cancel my booking as airline was offering a refund due to cancellation, no reply on the phone calls, loads of emails sent after weeks they replied that they will refund my ticket , hence i booked another ticket and now today i got an email that they cant refund me . Such a miscommunication, irresponsible and lack of commitment.

There are 2 of us flying, but we only need 1 checked-in bag between us. The system only allows for 0 or 2 bags, no option for 1. Likewise, some of the insurance cover schemes where we need different cover. Essentially, not flexible enough.

No communication and ignoring my emails.
My flight has been impacted by the situation in the Middle East, I’ve had no contact on the matter from Travelup and I emailed them on 28/03 and 09/04. Both of which have been ignored.
I then tried to use their ‘live chat’ function on 10/04 but it’s just a bit that goes around and around, even when you ask to speak to a human. It directed me to log a complaint which I did on 10/04 and said I would get a reply in 5 days - I didn’t.

I used travel up for the first time for a hotel stay on madison ave in midtown manhattan (lotte New York palace) over the Easter break. I couldn’t fault them at all. Made the booking in early Feb, got a great deal. Hotel was stunning! Will definitely use this company again.
