Booking reference 7827148

Traveluro Booking reference 7827148. Today I booked a night's stay at an airport Hotel at East Midlands Aiport for the 17th March. Due to fat fingers I should have booked the 10th March. I called them as soon as I read the confirmation email. They were very unhelpful and said they couldn't change as non refundable option was taken. Yes I should have double checked but it was a simple mistake. Surely they can see this and amend accordingly.

TRAVELURO + CONFIDANTE MIAMI/ ANDAZ…

TRAVELURO + CONFIDANTE MIAMI/ ANDAZ Absolutely avoid!
I made a reservation in October at The Confidante Miami/Andaz hotel. I chose this hotel for my two children in particular because it had two large swimming pools (my children's dream!).
2 months later while reading Tripadvisor comments, I read that this hotel is entirely under construction!
I therefore contacted TRAVELURO who told me that they refused to help me and that even if (supporting evidence) it was false advertising because they never told me that there would be no no swimming pool, no restaurant but only construction equipment (see photos), the only option offered is to be in no show and lose 100% of the amount!!!
It was supposed to be a dream vacation with my grandchildren but TRAVELURO AND THE CONFIDANTE MIAMI/ANDAZ made it the worst nightmare!!!
Never trust them, you will be totally disappointed like me!

Please give me my money back!

They kindly canceled my reservation, but I still haven't received my money back. I sent several emails, but at first I received a reply saying it was being processed, and then no reply to subsequent emails.
Since I called the hotel and received confirmation that my reservation had been cancelled, I am certain that Traveluro has this money.
What are you doing with my money?
My Trip Number is 7213941, and the last name is Shin.
Please return my money immediately!

You will NEVER SEE A REFUND FROM THEM, EVER!!

I travel a LOT and had 2 good experiences with Traveluro, but recently they have been a NIGHTMARE. I booked 2 separate nights at one hotel March 20, 2023. I was charged for each night, even though the reservation was Dec. 14 and Dec. 15, 2023.

I didn't realize I had THREE charges for these 2 nights. The 3rd one was charged March 23, 2023 for $194. The HOTEL advised me of this on arrival and I immediately, on Dec. 14, called TRAVELURO. I reached CINDY who told me she saw the overpayment. She said she would call the hotel that day and resolve it so I could get a refund. When I returned from the vacation, I noticed there was NO CREDIT of $194. I emailed their contactus email since I had good luck with this in the past. They replied saying they had NO RECORD of this charge and could I supply the booking number.

On EVERY BOOKING and CHARGE, they provide both numbers in an email. I had NO SUCH EMAIL for this amount. All I found was an email from my credit card company that showed I was charged $194 by TRAVELURO on 3/23/2023. I gave them the other 2 booking numbers and charges and told them THERE WAS NO BOOKING NUMBER attached to this CHARGE.

They have REPEATEDLY told me they have NO RECORD of my charge for $194. All it would take is for someone to pull up all the credit card charges made that day and search for $194. It was likely a charged that belonged to someone else's booking.

I have gotten at least 6 emails asking me for a NON EXISTENT booking number and emails saying they never charged me $194. I sent them a copy of the charges shown on my credit card, as well as the email from my card company showing they charged $194 to me 3/23/23.

I have at least 10 EMAILS NOW WITH NO RESULTS. They went from my GO TO company to one I would never trust again. When all goes well, you do get a lower rate 80% of the time from them vs other hotel booking operators. The other 20% will be such a nightmare as to wipe out any good they did with the previous savings.

It's a shame because in ONE YEAR, they went from having THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE to having ONE OF THE WORST!! If there is NO TRUST, there is NO VALUE.

Very disappointed with Traveluro

Very disappointed with Traveluro. It was VERY difficult to make contact with customer service, with the calls dropping out repeatedly before I finally reached an agent. The agent sounded nice, but had no flexibility (or authority) to change the date of my one-night booking to the following night. The hotel said they had availability but Traveluro would not budge, and would not send my prepayment to the hotel unless I checked in on the specified date. It should have been so simple for Traveluro to just move my date by one day; Traveluro would still get paid, the hotel would still get paid, but instead both of them lost me as a customer since I'm so mad at both of them. I will NEVER use Traveluro again, and would recommend others to avoid them as well.

This is a fraud and a front

This is a fraud and a front. Make a purchase to stay at a hotel on Dec 16. Due to issues at the hotel had to leave and not stay there. Made phone calls on the drive home stating that I didn't stay at the hotel due to issues. Been calling everyday since to get a refund and was told that they are going to escalate to relevant team and no supervisors are available and refuses to do a 3-way phone call to hotel to prove that I didn't stay at hotel. I was told that they are waiting for representative to get back to show proof that I didn't stay.
Finally after 2 months and multiple "will get back to you within 48 hours" and never do I was told I need to get the proof myself. Got the proof from hotel and the hotel returned money to them and still has my money.
Now that I called again for update, as I did everything that they asked for and still waiting for my money, I was told the relevant team will get back to me. I then received email saying that it's against their policy to refund me the money!
Due to their of communication, lack of doing their jobs and lack of customer service they have the audacity to now all of a sudden reject my refund after 2 months of going through all the work that they asked me to do to get it and now say it's against policy because I called them out. Mind you the hotel gave refund back and they have my money too so they got double paid and I didn't even stay at the hotel.
THEY ARE FRAUDS AND KEEPING YOUR MONEY FOR THEIR OWN!

DO NOT TRUST ANY 5 STAR REVIEWS!

DO NOT TRUST ANY 5 STAR REVIEWS!

There is a reason why Traveluro is 1.8 out of 5 in reviews and they do their best to pad their reviews with these fake 5 star reviews (with only 1 review). My girlfriend booked through this site thinking it was an absolute deal. There is a reason that their prices are so low and that is to trick potential customers into their scam. They make it seem like cancellation is easy. IT IS NOT.

"We notice you are trying to cancel your reservation. A customer service representative will contact you at this email within 72 hours."

We still have yet to hear from them and their phone number is a waste of time.

DO NOT USE TRAVELURO.

Better policies ?

I find it challenging to understand why after a few minutes of making the reservation and realizing the mistake (wrong month) - followed by a call to CS and email - that in your company’s reply you didn’t recognize the good sense in permitting a change of date or refund. Instead the answer was ‘strict policy’ and no acceptance of either option…

There are always exceptions in life that are reasonable and a business has the capacity to exercise the benefit of the doubt in favor of the client (when it’s reasonable: as in law : “reasonable doubt”).

Seems like a scam, Hotel is fully booked but still advertised on here

Searched for an apartment in Costa blanca and saw a very nice one at a decent price on Traveleuro site. Was just about to book but decided to check on the Owners own website only to find that all rooms are sold out for the days I'm looking, also checked on several other sites to find that the place is fully booked. Seems like a scam site to me, ...thanks Trustpilot

They do not inform you of hidden resort fees

They do not inform you of ANY hotel resort fees when you book. They told me it's int he FAQs. Nobody is reading the FAQs before they book. They are selling me a booking and then the hotel is charging me resort fees without my knowledge. The customer service was horrible.

Worst hotel booking company

Worst hotel booking company. Let me tell you my personal experience with them.

I traveled to Puerto Rico with a friend for a girls trip and pay ~800 dollars for a resort called Royal Sonesta at San Juan breakfast included.

The last day we get a 620 dollar bill for resort fee and breakfast. When I called to ask about this so called resort fee they told me that “it’s not our responsibility to know about that we only pay for the room”. EXCUSE ME? Not their responsibility? They didn’t even notify me about this “non-paid resort fee”.

Tried calling them, emailing them, and nothing. They refused to refund me. We paid 800 for a room and nothing else. Our total bill? Over 1300 for 3 nights. We got scammed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Scam company

I can only agree with what others write about traveluro. We booked a hotel in Bentota, Sri Lanka. They immediately withdrew the money from our account, but when we arrived at the hotel they did not know about the booking. The hotel had rejected the booking as they had no available rooms. We were never told that, so if we hadn't had our very service minded driver, we wouldn't have had a place to stay for the last 4 days. It was a very stressful experience. Please stay away from Traveluro. There are so many serious booking companies out there - use them instead. Injury makes you wise, but rarely rich
