This is horrible

This is horrible. Booked a hotel and money came out of my card. Went to the hotel and the hotel wasn't booked. Called them multiple times after ever 30 mins the system automatically disconnects. This is outrageous, legit a scam.

Agree with other posts here. Total fraud. Booked a hotel in New Orleans for New Years and when I got there, there was absolutely NO reservation for me at all. The hotel actually said that they do not work with Traveluro at all and they were kind enough to give me a hotel room for one night, but were otherwise fully booked. Traveluro took my money one month earlier, so had been able to earn the interest on that money for over a month. While at the front desk of the hotel, I called 3 different numbers that Traveluro's text service had sent me the day of my check-in. EVERY number had an automated message that automatically hung up on me. I also used an email they sent me to inquire about my reservation at my check-in. I never heard anything back from them the entire stay in New Orleans. I was lucky enough to find another hotel room for our stay and heard nothing from Traveluro until I filed a fraud complaint with my bank. I then received an email and what appears to be a refund credit. We'll see if it goes through! I have yet to receive an apology or any other call directly to me to explain this situation. DO NOT use this company.

Do not pay them anything, because your money will be gone. I paid (credit card) for a villa in Bali for NYE. After arriving the owner of the villa did not receive any payment or details about my reservation.

There is no way to get in touch with…

There is no way to get in touch with Traveluro, enough though they give you a phone number or email. When I called them, I was disconnected, every time. I emailed them, they never got back to me. Even the Front desk clerk at the hotel I was staying at, couldn't get a hold of them. They have no Customer Service and anyway to reach someone.

Worst experience of my life using you as a company..

I have now had an email from the hotel
Saying they have authorised a full refund with no penalty.. this was 5 days ago and I’ve still not had my refund or infact any email from you what so ever, I’ve sent you another 2 emails!! Seriously this is nearly £400 I’m waiting on, you don’t know my financial situation so do the right thing and credit me back my money!!!!!!

Still nothing has been done regarding my refund and no email? I can’t understand what takes so long, please sort this out, the hotel have had NO contact from you regarding this matter!!!

I have been trying to contact you for a week now and no one is contacting me back or replying to my emails.. please see below my original email..

I have had an issue with my bookings for the Ned London, though your company. l turned up to my bookings for Thursday 21st December to be told I only had 1 room booked instead of 2 rooms.

The first booking I made was on the 29/08/23 ref 6487639 which was fine and my daughter checked in ok.

The second booking was made on the 24/10/12, the money for this booking left my account but seems there was an error your end and I’m assuming the money was returned as when I checked my emails at the hotel I only had a receipt number 3652489, amount taken £264. I haven’t been able to see if it’s been refunded as my online account is not working. There’s wasn’t a main conformation but obviously I only realised this at point of checking in.

Whilst being told I don’t have a the second room and after nearly 2 hours of trying to check in I decided to re book the room through your company again and would then take my issue up with you when I had time.

I rebooked the room only to realise is a state of panic and stress I must of accidentally clicked on the wrong date and then booked a room for the 28/12/12 instead of the 21/12/12.. ref 7389720.
This was the incorrect date and booked in error, I then tried to contact someone from your team with no avail and now late for my Xmas dinner and night out with my family I’m in tears! The whole thing was a nightmare.

I then had to make a separate booking again ref 7390098 which was now the correct date and room and managed to check in.

I now still have a room booked which is not needed and the date booked in error for the 28/12/12.. ref 7389720, I am asking you to please refund me the full amount as this booking wasn’t needed.

Since my stay at the Ned I have spoken with the hotels director and also explained what happened and they are happy to refund the room booked for the 28/12/12 with no cancellation fee.

You are a very dishonest company thieves

You are a very dishonest company, ye put up the cheapest price and when i went to book it had jumped from €143 to €200 I saw the price hike straight away, so I cancelled right away so I thought, with my bank i have to verify the purchase though an email and my security code in order to purchase this, somehow they were able to bypass this security feature, so do not use this site, its like a scam call centre, book direct with your hotel. They are thieves!

We arrived at our reservation

We arrived at our reservation , waited 1 hour with a baby in the car. After traveling 11 hours to be told at security gate they don’t have our confirmation. Called and was told to wait one hour did not get to go inside the building and now we are in need of a place to sleep for the night. We need a full cancellation refund due to unorganized and unprofessional service.

Scam company

Scam company! I booked a reservation in for Christmas holidays. However, I decided to change my plans due to personal reasons. Well, this company refused to refund me even though I bought the travlers insurance as well. Another greedy company exploiting people, selfish and indifferent to personal issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY!!! They will take you hard-earned money!!!

Terrible company - bordering on scam

Had a "verified booking" and the hotel ended up being completely sold out with no room reserved for me. Traveluro "could not" get me another room at another hotel. Has been over a year since this happened and Traveluro says they are still "working on" getting me my refund - still nothing, and the customer service has now gone silent. Stay far away from this company!

No prepaid booking found upon checkin

Similar feedback as everyone below. I am 34 weeks pregnant and booked a hotel in Dublin for a night stay on New Year’s Eve. Upon arrival they couldn’t find my reservation and were asking me to pay for another booking. I tried contacting the support line, sleep deprived, post midnight Dublin time but never got beyond the automated message and a 30 minute wait. Had to get a taxi back to my house at 1am in the morning. The hotel said they did not receive any payment so where did the money go for my “non-refundable prepaid booking”?? Traveluro has put me through so much stress. I need a refund. The hotel was supportive and said they were happy to be contacted for any help with the refund. I don’t know what’s the best way to contact traveluro? Have submitted multiple tickets through the support page but no response. Terrible customer service specially to a pregnant woman.

Scam Company

Booked the reservation and paid and upon arrival, the hotel had my reservation but hadn’t received payment so I was forced to pay for the room a second time. They never made the payment for the room. I’ll never use them again.

Horrible customer service

I am from the hospitality industry and I can easily understand when thing go wrong. I am the type of person to even try to help fix things but when someone/company keeps screwing up (8e 3 strikes)….then I get become livid.
My problem is so so so simple to fix too. I have two separate Traveluro reservations confirmation # and I called the hotel over a month before check-in to verify all is proper. I learn one of my reservations when not in there system. So I call Traveluro and that is when the constant back and forth beings. It is now December 30, 24hrs prior to checking into the hotel and I am still dealing with Traveluro is fixing this very simple mistake with the second reservation and room.
I have racked up over $147 worth of long distance bills (call from Canada). Their phone line hangs up on your constantly, the email back and forth with agents getting easily confused EVEN with photos to illustrate the problem. I wish o could include photos of the amount of calls I have made just today alone.
Such a disgracefully run company.

They are a ripoff

They are a ripoff I even bought insurance and still not getting anything I had to change my date for a hotel and they would not do it and kept all the money don’t use them

I booked with traveluro as it was…

I booked with traveluro as it was cheapest deal.
I had all me booking confirmation sent within hours.
Once I read all bad reviews I was bit worried so emailed hotel to check it was all booked and paid for,
I had nothing to worry about everything is is fine..
I would definitely use traveluro again great service.😁

Review Updated I am calling the customer service…

I am calling the customer service number from last 1 hour just to get disconnected after 10-15 minutes of hold.

Made a booking for Westgate Las Vegas earlier this morning and received a confirmation voucher saying the booking is confirmed.

I called the hotel and they say they cannot see any booking in their system!

Nobody picking up the call over the customer support number and nobody is replying over the email, Not sure what I can do now, Also I am not sure how can Google have such a fraud company listed in the search, I am going to make any efforts to have this company plus the parent company holisto and spittly removed from Google search!

Will try and wait for a couple of hours before I will report this as a fraud transaction to my bank!

Edit: I have changed the review from 1 star to 4 star because hotel was able to find the reservation when I went to checkin in person as they were missing the middle name while checking over the phone,

I gave 4 stars because I got this hotel for probably 600$ cheaper than what the hotel is selling and 300$ cheaper than the cheapest available at any known websites for 5 days

I still deducted 1 star for the unresponsive customer service, they should really respond because it is panicking for someone who is travelling and hotel says your booking is not on their system, Still there is no response from customer service but my checkin process went smooth!

Cannot get through to customer service

Cannot get through to customer service, they keep hanging up while I am on hold, will not respond to submitted messages and I haven’t gotten a real confirmation email from the hotel itself. I need this to trust my reservation has actually been made or I will be refunding everything. Trip ID 7275837, figure this out immediately!

Marriot hotel and breakfast

I booked marriot hotel and golf in Coventry with BREAKFAST but the hotel says that traveluro cancelled my 2 days breakfast and kept my money for the breakfast. Sad on my wife and kids which were looking forward for this. NEVER USE TRAVELURO!!!

Can't Reach Traveluro's Customer Service

I came down with COVID this week - the same week that I was supposed to travel, so I tried to push our hotel reservation back. The hotel said I had to contact Traveluro, so I first tried the website, and it said that it was non-refundable, and would not let me change the dates. So I called Traveluro and followed the prompts to talk to the right agent, and then it connected and hung up. I continued to try and, each time, it connected and I got hung up on. So I reached out to them again through the website in case it was an error, but did not hear back. I'm in the process of blocking the charge on my card because this isn't right. Big takeaway: never do nonrefundable reservations (if you can avoid it).
