10/10 Customer Service (Jack)
I just purchased my first Trend power tool - to find that one single accessory screw was missing.
The telephone number for Trend was clearly listed on the back of the instruction manual - no need to hunt around online. After choosing customer services from a menu, the call was answered immediately by Jack - who was polite, friendly and most importantly - extremely helpful. Jack sent me an e-form as promised within moments, and upon returning the form, again within moments, confirmed that a replacement spare part was on it's way - received next day.
Mistakes happen - but how a company deals with them is crucial.
I'm grateful to Jack for his excellent customer service, and grateful for Trend for clearly being a great company.
I will certainly be more likely to choose Trend over other brands as a result of this experience and would encourage others to do the same.

Delivery service from UPs
The service I was given by Trend personnel was excellent but where I became dissatisfied was when I tried to track my package. I contacted trend as i was getting concerned the package was taking longer to arrive than expected. Trend gave me a site to contact which happened to be UPs. UPs did not attempt to deliver to my address but a shop in a nearby town, not even letting me know. I also paid for delivery. POOR SERVICE! GET RID OF UPs.

Disappointing customer service
Purchased a skeleton door hinge jig
Jig was supplied incorrectly manufacturered
Called trend technical, first call I was assured the jig was correct
Second call to technical, he admitted it was incorrect
Arranged a pick up, inspection, then a delivery of new one within a few days which was fair
I asked for a gesture of goodwill for my wasted time on it , point blank refusal, "we don't offer compensation"
I then sent a complaint email to trend customer service and received the same typical answer from a big company, although we admit we were wrong, we're not going to do much about it
I think it's ridiculous, you admitted to selling something not fit for purpose but won't offer a small gesture as an apology
I purchased from screwfix and they did more than trend on the matter
I will always look for alternatives now before buying trend again, very dissapointed

I purchased a trend R/S jig but found the machine tolerance’s to be quite tight. I contacted trend customer service who assisted me with the set up. They offers additional advice on lubrication of tracks and general support.
I found all staff members knowledgeable and approachable, with a genuine desire to help.

Rang up and told the person the sizes of latch’s I was using and he gave me the code for the correct face plates for the lock jig. Package arrived and not one faceplate is correct

Great Technical Support
Had to order a part for my Router, Unfortunately I ordered the wrong part, but after speaking to the Technical department with the aid of a Photo, they told me exactly what part I needed and how to fit it, not often do you find exceptional service nowadays.
The part arrived the next day.
