TRIAT started out known as AthleteSportsWorld around 2010. Over the next 10 years, visiting races dragging a trailer load of gear, the community grew and the Amsterdam shop opened. Roll on to 2026 and we decided to focus the offer to a triathlon sports shop. A new location and website, but no change in ambition, helping folk with the best gear. From here, who knows? I recently had a great shopping…
I recently had a great shopping experience at the shop in Amsterdam. The staff was incredibly helpful when it came to choosing the right running shoes. I originally planned to buy them from a specialized running store, but the expert advice (combined with a great discount) convinced me to make the purchase here instead.
Of course, I couldn’t resist picking up a few extra triathlon essentials along the way. There’s always something useful to add! I’m also really impressed with the new gear that just arrived, but I’ll save that for my next review.

Oh dear, that went wrong. And we know why. In the Netherlands, we list house numbers differently than in Germany. So if you enter it and order it with the address as you did, the shipment will be returned to us. That's why we sent it to you again with the correct address. It takes a little extra time and costs us a little extra money, but then you get the service you deserve as a customer. Best regards from Peter
