Tribe designs makes good!
Thankfully I'm being issued a partial refund for this desk! My misunderstanding of the design, that it only has two legs, and totally depends on the file cabinet to keep upright.
Also, the wood grains are very different on each piece.
Tribesigns, knowing how difficult & expensive it would be to return, did give me a 50% refund. They've also offered me a totally new piece from their collection in the same price range.
They've shown that they care to make it right.

Nice looking furniture
I love the piece and it looks great in our place. However there were some scratches and splinters in the wood. It wasn't bad enough to send back, but disappointing nonetheless.

Material low-quality
Material is pretty low-quality. I get it, based on the price, but was surprised when it arrived. It'll do for now, but will replace with something else down the road.

Poor Instructions-cheap quality
Instructions were not clear. Several attempts and several email's before I was able to assemble correctly. It is also cheap wood. I thought it was real wood vs laminated pressed wood. Ikea like furniture is not durable. Will not buy again

Gorgeous, but Lacks the Quality
Gorgeous kitchen island that I will be using for a teacher's desk. Unfortunately, there was a few dings in several boards during the shipment. I didn't get to put the island together until a month of receiving it, so there wasn't much I could do about the slightly damaged pieces. It took 7 weeks to arrive.
When gently places the screws in, with one twist the laminate began to peel. Also, a minor incident tore the particalboard where the screw would not secure it. Thankfully, it is somewhat hidden.
Its heavy, but not a quality product. I pray it holds up for 3-5 years until I retire. I am glad I got it on sale or I would have been feeling a bit more irritated about the quality.

4 Drawer Filing Cabinet
I purchased a 4 drawer filing cabinet. When we finally got to the very end of putting it together, the final piece was broken! The handle to the bottom drawer had a missing side to it. I contacted Tribesigns and sent them a picture. They responded within 24 hours and told me they were sending a new piece. I couldn't be happier!
