Had my Veloped Trek for about 6 years, so impressed with the quality and durability.
Best customer & after sales service I've seen.
Highly recommend this business 👌.
I got this for my dad. He’s over 80yo and can still walk well with the assistance of a cane but uses one for safety. He loves his 14” walker for its comfortable seat, great breaks, and air-filled tires and suspension system that greatly reduce vibration from bumpy roads or debris. I was hesitant to purchase this walker because I couldn’t find much info online and the website looked somewhat scammy but turns out it’s a legit company and the ordering experience was easy. Dad’s had it for over three years now and it’s still in great shape. I will recommend you buy an extra set of tires with your initial order, as well as the cane holder if you plan carrying one. Best of luck!
Bought the Veloped Trek. I have Charcot Marie Tooth Disease and have had increasing difficulty walking even with two hiking poles. Last week I was able to hike in the Beartooth Mountains and Yellowstone National Park for the first time in many years. The trek is amazing! Great stability. Made very well.
It goes a bit to well which means I am always using the brakes, which are wearing down quite quickly. And it squeaks a lot in the front end. Apart from that it is ok
Having recently left hospital, I was having trouble walking. I felt unstable and unsafe just using my walking stick. The Trionic Trek has made a great difference to my life. I am now able to get out and about with my family and visit all my favourite places. I would like to thank the team at Trionic for their excellent customer service and for developing this amazing machine which has made such a difference to my life.
Outstanding customer service. I contacted the company as a patient of mine had broken her walker. Johan was so helpful, worked out what needed to be replaced and sent the replacement free of charge. Thank you
Siobhan
Lovely walk along the beach at Chapel Point. Couldn’t have done it without the 14” walker.
I ordered a pair of tyres for my electric bike as the 12 inch tyres fitted I only had them on my bike for less then a month and I've already had to buy new ones as they have gone well thin and I was always getting punchers
I have finally found the perfect wheeled walker! The Trionic Veloped Tour 14er M. It is adjustable to be tall enough for me, which make a nice change, I am 6 foot and in the past walkers have felt too low, what totally blew me away was being able to walk my dog over the fields and through the woods without having to ask anyone to help lift the walker over roots, sticks or boggy areas, the Veloped with the all terrain wheel lowered just ploughs on through. The basket is perfect for putting all the bits I need to take with me and I recommend getting a bottle holder as it is perfect for holding either my water bottle or the dogs. I would have like some kind of retaining clip which could hold the two sides together when closed up, the slightest of movements and it will start to open which is a pain when trying to hoisting it into my car or if it needs to be moved out of the way in the house, I love how easy it is to remove and then refit the wheels and they are not heavy either. That being my only negative means I happily recommend the Velopped tour, it really is an all terrain walker.
Supper fast delivery customer service supper fast email service came well packaged
Comfortable ride easy over rough terrain works really well yes it’s a lot of money however it’s built to last and it will last as the quality is out of this world
Fits in car easily really easy not heavy or awkward
Had many people ask about the walker it looks very smart and stands out from the rest
From customer service to delivery this company is 'fantastic'
The walker has made such a massive difference to my mums mobility.
She is walking upright and no longer complains of pain in her back and knees.
She is much more confident and is managing to walk longer distances.
Mum says she would recommend this walker to anyone struggling with walking as she feels much more supported and feels the walker is much more stable and far more superior to any other walker she has used!
Thank you for the great advice from the customer service representative , he was kind , considerate and knowledgeable...he did not pressurise mum into purchasing.
We are so thankful she did buy it though, as it has transformed her life.
I have a Veloped also they are the best!! changed my life for getting around!!! I wish I could give everyone one that I see with a walker
Fantastic
Really Excellent Product, it was Easy to order the Gentleman helped my husband with getting me the right size, nothing was too much trouble, it arrived promptly, it has helped me carry on with the activity I enjoy, I have named mine Racy Dave, 😂, as it helps make me walk faster and I know if I need to sit down I can, it goes well on uneven surfaces and makes light work of leaves and tree twigs, would not be without it.
The company answered all my questions fully to ensure I got the correct machine for my needs. I embarked upon the walking programme and I am delighted with both my walking improvement and the performance of my veloped sport. I wish I had this years ago.
Good evening, I am trying to request a quote for the Walker 14er M/L Walker green/black/red, important to specify that you are the only supplier in Canada.
Bonsoir, j’essaie demander un devis pour le Déambulateur Walker 14er M/L vert/noir/rouge, important de spécifier que vous êtes le seul fournisseur au Canada.
My husband (82) can now join me on my walks again! With very poor balance he was struggling slowly with sticks. Now he can go on woodland trails and on grass for our favourite coastal walks. The only problem he finds is in slowing it evenly when going downhill.
It is big and heavy to load and unload in the car (for me as an 81 year old!) but the wheels come off very easily and we have now got into a routine for doing this
The walker12 is a great product in every aspect, top quality build quality, lightweight aluminium frame, comfortable grips, quick release wheels for compact storage.
The walker12 has greatly improved my mobility and I am now enjoying daily walks with confidence. My posture when walking has improved significantly ,the Walker assisting me in a more upright position.
We set one review with 5 stars. I'd like to give them more for follow up review. After getting the Trionic we decided that the quality of product needed a bag to protect it whilst it wasn't being used. So we ordered one.
When it arrived there were no usage instructions. It looked complicated, so we phoned for help. Using the website we requested a call back. By the time I pressed the submit button the phone was ringing. Unbelievable. I asked about instructions, but unfortunately there were none. But never mind they said, we'll work something out. Within 1 hour we had an email with a full instruction video enclosed. Now that is service. I cannot praise this company highly enough. 5 stars is not enough.
Everything positive has already been said in earlier reviews, so I'll concentrate on my experiences here on Coastal Lancashire, with its paths through sand dunes and pine forests.
About me: I'm 84 and had a very active, not to say athletic, lifestyle, so it was a bitter pill to swallow when I developed a balance problem and lost a lot of muscle strength.
Nevertheless, I am determined to continue being as active as possible! So I bought a Trionic Veloped Trek with the 24inch wheels and all-terrain tyres.
After a cautious initial practise on local urban pavements and navigating the interiors of shops large and small, my next test was to get on and off our MerseyRail trains (still operating very old rolling stock on this line, with a high step up or down). I found a technique: brakes on, pull back to lift front wheel off ground, brakes off and roll in.
I was ready for the pine forest trails; no problems here though long uphill slopes were of course hard work. Going downhill I found tricky as the Veloped tended to yaw as it's not possible to apply both brakes evenly. (Same problem in the city on extended station and department store ramps – a light touch is needed).
I decided to test 'The Beast' by going off-trail, into the pine woods. This offered an altogether tougher challenge; the slopes I could manage with care (not to tip over sideways!) But narrow paths filled with pine cones were hard, even for the 24” wheels, probably because the cones are loose.
The biggest challenge by far is to get through loose sand. Long stretches of loose sand (sand traps!) were very hard indeed for me on one walk but another day I managed a short section to get onto the firm sand of the beach and was rewarded with long stretches of easy walking and glorious views!
I wish I could some photos of this trip!
On public transport: I've had no problems storing the Trek on our local bus routes but would hesitate to take it on busier city routes.
One note of caution: When putting small items into the pocket at the back of the basket, it's very easy to miss and not realise it's dropped on the floor. Also the 'rain cover' gets tangled with small items like keys. I haven't worked out how this rain cover is to be firmly fastened at the front when in use.
And so far I haven't found a use for the extra storage bags provided with the Trek, so probably should have bought the Tour version which is a Trek without the extra bags. (I was put off by the illustration yet they are both the same; the Trek photo just looked more like me).
I have really bad balance and my walker with 12” wheels gives me a great feeling of stability. I also obedience train a golden retriever and this walker has made it easier to walk on grass with her. The other thing it is so much easier due to its lightness to lift into the car. My previous walker would lead to neck and shoulder pain. I give this walker 10/10
