Ok long and short, this is great for creating fan art for 3d models. I like to make stuff from old concept art from old video games and or old cartoons. It works best if you can find a full body picture to use. Overall its easy to use and the pay options have a lot of good features.

Was looking for into all the 3D AI generator as 3D artist myself. And I was really impressed with how almost acccurate the models are generated. They also have retopology and rig features. All in all really good.

fantastic AI especially for making 3d models for printing, used this to make photos into 3d models of a few items and people. it worked great, odd little errors as with all AIs but one of the best.

There’s not enough control over mesh refinement, deformation correction, edge flow optimization, or detailed manual editing. As a result, users often need to export everything into external 3D software to finish the job properly, which breaks the workflow.

In short:
Tripo 3D is a great AI generator with a lot of potential and very strong generation quality, but it still feels incomplete because the post-generation editing and correction tools are too limited for professional use. If the developers improve the workflow and mesh editing capabilities, this could become an outstanding platform.
