Toxic Community & false bans

Toxic Community & false bans. I like others posted my achievements I had earned legitimately on an older game, only to be accused of cheating the game. I can't help but think after posting someone reported me. Staff were unhelpful and set my profile to no tracking without any evidence or proper correspondence.

Avoid.

Toxic Community

With the news of the looming online shutdown of some of my favourite games looming, I pulled out my old Xbox to hop on and try to enjoy these games before they were gone for good. Battlefield Bad Company was first up, a game I put over 1000hrs into back in the day. Joined a Conquest server and was elated to see it was full. But it became apparent soon enough the lobby was not playing the game but boosting scores. Excited to play I took a flag when my squad spawned and continuously team killed me, someone on the other team came over to uncap the flag again and it was clear they weren't killing each other.. P**sed off, I left to search for another server but I was thrown back in the same room. Due to the matchmaking system of the game, I (and I assume others) were being thrown into this lobby continuously. Checking some of the GamerTags of the players in the lobby, all had 6 figure gamer scores and most if not all had TrueAchievements.com in the bio. It was quite upsetting to see these people hold to ransom the only populated lobby in the game frantically boosting to gain virtual numbers while at the same time preventing people from enjoying a game the way it was intended before it was shutdown. I was actually surprised to see their community is so intertwined with Microsoft's API, that they're allowed to behave in such a way under the eyes of Microsoft. If you have a life, stay clear of this community or website. If you are obsessed with a virtual score that means nothing and serves nothing other than a measure of time wasted in years to come then this is the place for you.

Great website, great xbox community

Great website with a very helpful community. Articles are pretty good too, especially if you have game pass. People who leave 1-star reviews are just salty cheaters who have been caught and banned from the site.

Do they believe they're Microsoft?

Do they believe they're Microsoft?
They've set my profile on no tracking several times, sending an appeal ends in no response. It's about time to end my subscription there which is now useless again.

Best site for Xbox Achievements

If you're into Xbox Achievements, this is the best site out there. Most of the active users are helpful and willing to share information, tips, and advice for unlocking achievements. Great features and articles, interesting stats, engaging community contests and events, and useful tools for achievement hunters.

Ads can be an issue if you're not a pro member, but the cost of membership is well worth the perks that come with it if you enjoy what the site has to offer.

As long as you haven't cheated (i.e. modded console hardware or game software) to fraudulently unlock achievements -- as most of the negative reviews appear to be guilty of -- you'll find this to be a welcoming, useful, and entertaining site. As a pro member for more than five years, it's the only site I subscribe to and use on a daily basis.

Great site for all things Xbox gaming

Great site for all things Xbox gaming. I’ve used the site for years as my go to source for Xbox news and hunting achievements. There’s a great community centered around common gaming interests, and the staff does a great job of keeping the site and competitive leaderboards fair for everyone.

I love this site!

I use this site almost everyday, even after 15 years! There's nothing else like it out there for stats and everything Xbox achievements related.

I'm sad to read the lies and 1 star reviews from cheaters/offensive people who got banned for their own stupidity. Luckily, most of the other 10's of thousands of regular users seem to be pleasant.

TA is a great site for Xbox achievement…

TA is a great site for Xbox achievement hunters and Xbox gamers in general. It provides the latest gaming related news, great walkthroughs and solutions for individual achievements. They have a proper cheater policy in place to guard the leaderboards (hence all the 1 star reviews here) with an open and approachable staff. In case you're a Playstation or Steam gamer, they also have similar sites for those consoles.

False accusations

Unfortunately, this website doesnt take into account that reports they receive are mostly false accusations of other gamers who are upset at someone for getting an achievement that was too hard for them to get. My account was flagged within a day of me creating it on this site (even though ive been gaming for 12 years now and the site synced all of my progress) so now my account is registered as a cheat even though i got the achievements legitimately. Would also not recommend purchasing the "pro" as this basically does nothing except give more scans per day.

TLDR: Website accuses of cheating when legit with no evidence, pro is not worth purchasing. Sorry

Accused me of modding my gamer score…

Accused me of modding my gamer score after I was apparently picked up by their bots. Apparently I unlocked a single achievement on a years old game from when I first started playing out of order so they blocked me from leaderboards.
Got pissy with me when I challenged them and blocked my account. Like I’m going to risk losing my Xbox gamer tag with over 100k gamer score for a 10g achievement.
Site is buggy and full of ads, staff are unreasonable and seem to think they are Microsoft.

Used to be great. Now riddled with ads and Clickbait.

True Achievements used to be a GREAT site, and if you're just there for the stat tracking, it still could be.

But things have plummeted over the last twelve months or so: Clickbait "news" articles that always contain links to other site pages for hits, promotional material not clearly marked (some is, a lot isn't), moderators are heavy handed, and the site now is absolutely pasted with ads: Banners, videos that scroll with you, ads in the middle of and over the top of content...

Rich started something amazing with TA. I was a member there for over ten years. But, as is usual with businesses, integrity loses out to financial gain.

My advice? Join Gamertag Nation instead!
