I ordered a set of lights from trueefforts.com and there was a video on the site that showed a set of permanent outdoor led lights. When they showed up they were a totally different set of indoor lights. I was in contact with them and they told me that they were the ones I ordered. The name on the boxes are not even the same as the name on the order. Do not order from this site. It is just false advertisement to get your money. They show you one product and send you something different! Don't believe anything you see on this site.
Criminal Scammers
I am in Canada. NEVER GIVE THESE SCAMMERS YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER !! The product they sent is for 220V European system..useless to me in North America. Refusing correct. Have written them nine (9) times, offered me $12.00 ..charges to my card were over hundred dollars..just keep stalling and stalling...Never give these Scammers your credit card number
Scammers! Bought $90 USD of lights that are cheaper than cheap and the most they want to offer me is $24 USD. I have offered several times to ship them back for a full refund and I get “you received the correct item from the warehouse.” I provided them with SEVERAL pictures to prove what they advertised and what I received were NOT the same but yet they stand behind it! Been dealing with this since Nov!
Big time scammers they advertise a corvette but send you a chevette once you dispute they will offer you $6 to keep product and they’ll claim that’s what you ordered stay away from this company.
Do not use, they say they post but don't, complete scammers
Total scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, people please be aware, false advertising, what you will get is not the same what you have ordered with large amount of money
Husband fell for this scam. Advertised those lights as CAD then charged us USD so paid $160 for maybe 2$ worth a light. Supposed to be a outdoor light and it doesn't even have a plug in.Paypal is useless filed a dispute with the credit card company. Stay away from any TIKtok ad!!
I also have been scammed by this company. spent $79 on lights advertised on tiktok. what i received was a complete different product worth a fraction of the price. they are adamant that is what i ordered but the digital trail i have clearly shows i ordered permanent outdoor lights.
Still in negotiation with them, they offered $25 refund. the lights are no use as they each need a usb adapter.
Total scam company. they also use potatobooks.com and other websites for this scam.
I gave them 1 star because it's the lowest rating I can select. Buyers, beware: they engaged in false advertising regarding the permanent lights I purchased for $160. What I received is not even worth $16.
This company is horrible and has misleading advertising with questionable products. The website shows a UK address and then Google maps show a business in India. I found this site for Scam detectors.

This “Trueeffords” is a scam, a ripoff company got me for 188.00 orders for outdoor lights. Effort to contact has failed. If anyone has an address please provide. This big man needs to have a face to face with them. Do Not buy anything from them.
I’m another person who has been scammed by this company. They offered $15 refund on $179 order of lights.
I’ve never had any problems ordering from TT. Two crunchy ice machines, and other stuff purchased without any problems. Unfortunately, this was a very expensive sucker punch.
Don’t trade with this company.
Litigation is imminent.
Ordered outdoor lights for over 90 dollars and go 10 dollars worth of shitty lights that were in no way what I ordered. They offered a 17 dollar refund on a 90 plus dollar purchase. Scam site do not buy from here scam scam scam. BAIT AND SWITCH
Ordered lights thinking they are year round lights, but they sent me lights that are usb plug in. These can not be used outdoors. The lights do not turn on all the way either only half the string turns on. Do not order from this website. My order was just over $100 worth and they wanted to refund me only $16. This is a fraudulent website to order from. Do not order from here.
I ordered lights from them that when I received them I realized my initial purchase was extremely overpriced. They are now being offered for a fraction of the price. They only offered me a $17 USD refund on over $160 order. Then they threatened that if I didn’t want the $17, I have to pay to ship them back to China for and exhorbidant fee. The lights don’t come with a plug which is not in the ad and they do not connect to each other. They are advertised as outdoor lights to line the exterior of your roof. This company is a major scam and a joke. Buyer Beware
Company website advertising year round outdoor lighting that has adhesive on each light for mounting. Lights advertised showed to be about 1x1. Lights received have NO way to mount and are about 1/4inch x 1/3 inch. To me this is false advertising. Total ordered was $59 they offered to refund me $6.
Advertised fantastic outdoor lights, all American advert, so I bought 2 get 1 free, received great communication saying where my delivery was in the US, last email received my package was at US Customs waiting to be shipped and that very same day the tiniest of packages arrived from CHINA with only 2 shitty lights, tried to resolve issue direct by email and they did the usual offer me max $15 dollars out of €69 paid, took it to PayPal who were as useless as a wet hankie, the company offered me a full refund but I had to send them back at my cost of £25, so I’m out of pocket by another shitty CHINA company
