Just purchased a Pioneer FLX10 from them. Paid for it Friday and it got delivered Saturday. This was after getting dicked around by other DJ shops taking my deposit, saying they would be getting them in on a certain date, then telling me they were actually allocated to others in a queue before me and that there were no other units in the country.

We used the Sound & Light Hire Company at a conference we ran earlier in 2023. The venue we held the conference in had very limited AV options so we used the Sound & Light Hire Company to help with the sound. They supplied a sound system, multiple microphones and an on site technician which really helped to elevate our conference giving it an added level of professionalism. They were very professional and quick to get back to us with our queries. Would definitely recommend

Rented a speaker set for a event I was having, Samantha was very friendly and flexible and also clear with what came with the package, even allowed me to collect it a day earlier! Would definitely recommend for any DJ’s looking for Rental speakers etc

I'am a DJ and have recommended the sound & light company to many of my clients. I have found the sound quality is excellent, the equipment always top notch and price very reasonable. Also they are great at putting the best package together for you even if you have no idea about sound equipment. A lot my customers are based in Surrey & there isn't much around interms of a hire company but the feedback i've had & from what i hear everyone has been delighted that they explain every things in an understandable language. After all the work and collaborating, the event happened - and the True Sound guys and equipment and everything else were brilliant. The video screen, the sound and the light show all worked beautifully together and created exactly the effects and atmosphere I was after. From my first meeting with Tim I knew this would work and through negotiations with Kerry we achieved a top-class deal.
And the LED poseur tables were a triumph - a real wow in creating an up-beat mood.
It was a learning event for us, too, even though we're all seasoned amateurs. We should have focused more on getting the on-stage mix right during the sound check, rather than just playing a couple of songs, and there were other little things that we messed up. If we could have another go it would be absolutely perfect. As it was, it was truly great. If the opportunity arises to work with you again in the future, I would jump at the chance.

Over the moon with this company very easy to deal with and knew exactly what i was trying to accomplish. They helped me decide what speakers and lights i needed and just took a lot of weight off my shoulders. Just wanted to say thank you very much and i will defiantly be a returning customer.

Great to have a useful wedding equipment hire shop in Surrey for the last minute bits us wedding planners often get asked to find at short notice. Well priced, very helpful and had wedding blossom tree in stock !

The coloured uplighters, the projector and speakers that we hired for my daughters 21st Party last Friday were fantastic. The lights made the hall such a fun place to be. James who set everything up and collected it all late after the party was so efficient and lovely to have around while we were setting up and Kerry was so lovely to deal with on the phone and recommended all the right equipment. Thank you. I cannot recommend them ore highly!

Genuine company and made our life's super easy. When you have no idea what lighting to hire, no idea about speaker systems and your just sent quote after quote with no advice you begin to worry but true hire was the only company that called me to speak over what it was they quoted us for and made me feel at ease.
