About True Vintage

Europe’s leading online vintage retailer store, hailing from the South West of London. Since starting in 2014 we have grown from the ground upwards and are now consistently supplying customers all around the world with the best in branded vintage.

Our business is built on sustainability, with every vintage item we sell prevented from ending up in landfill. On top of that we have projects which see us upcycle damaged items to create unique one-of-one pieces, and we plant a tree every time an order is placed.

Son picked a top from true…

Son picked a top from true vintage.Arrived promptly in lovely silver stand out packaging. Being a pre loved top it was in great condition . My son is delighted and has received compliments wearing it.

My mistake

Excellent customer service when I made a mistake they rectified the problem within an hour of me contacting them. Also the items are of very good quality and very prompt service. We will be using this company again

Website was easy to manage and deliver…

Website was easy to manage and deliver was quick . Only quibble I had was the packaging . It was in one bag which was so tight around the jacket that when I opened it with a scissors I nearly cut the jacket .

Hidden fees and unhelpful support

So I wanted to order some stuff and decided to get two custom made sweatshirts. Everything went fine with the payment and they told me shipping would take quite a bit, because the custom logos had to be stitched on. Then after I got the confirmation, that the stuff had been sent I tracked the items and saw that I had to pay a so called "BLN" fee. Which is a signal that I had to pay cash to the postman if I wanted to receive my parcel. So I contacted Truevintage and I was assured by the customer support, that if I showed the postman the invoice, that would be sent to me by Truevintage, I would not have to pay the fee. So when the postman arrived, I showed the invoice and he said, that I had to pay the fee anyway. As I didn't see another choice for receving my stuff I paid the fee. I then contacted Truevintage and told them what had happend and they made up some excuse that the Customer Supporter had not meant that fee, but the customs fee. Even if I clearly stated the BLN fee.
Great shame as I had to pay around 40$ in fees and Truevintage was not helpful.

I can confirm that as your order was to a non EU country, there will be some form of custom charge that is set by your country of residence. Unfortunately this is not covered by us.

pretty rad!!!

i love my jumper that i got from here so much :D at first i was skeptical because i wasn’t sure if i could trust the site, and a lot of people mentioned in their reviews that their orders were taking a long time to arrive, mine was delivered just fine!! the quality of the jumper i have is great too, very minor rips n tears but i like the worn quality that comes from vintage clothes so it was all good🤘🏽

The item we bought came with a mark on…

The item we bought came with a mark on it that was not provided for in the description or images. It was a little disappointing as had we have known we may not have bought the item. We appreciate the item was pre owned, it was just a little disappointing it wasn’t noted. This has now been resolved- excellent customer service from the team!

Both my parcels arrived late after…

Both my parcels arrived late after paying extra for delivery but in your defence the first delivery failed for an error on address from myself, but was left in the dark for a week on when my parcels were going to be sent out again, happy my parcels arrived but disappointing trying to get help
