Desperate for work so had to go through with my face being scanned.
There is no legal reason this would be requested for, it is clearly a scam. They will selling my data to the highest bidder.

I don't usually write negative reviews - but have to as this service is a critical link in today's workplace job market - especially in the UK. Because of what I have explained below - I had to resort to medieval methods verify my ID - which is an utter shame given the technological leadership demonstrated by other companies in the UK. What's the purpose of advertising "Validating 16,000 global government IDs" if they cannot validate a Non NFC passport? There are more than 1 billion non NFC passports in use. In the era of highly sophisticated AI, machine learning and image recognition - trust ID still cannot process a Non NFC passport (an Airport terminal machine in a third world country can do that!). The UI for document upload is also from stone age - who keeps printed utility bills and bank statements in 2024? Why can't they have an option for uploading files (PDFs)? Either this service is being run by some school kids or its another sham project to squeeze off government (NHS) funding to Tory cronies. (ps : don't count on me - their iOS App has a grand score of 1.6 stars !)

TrustID by far has been the most effective and helpful tool in reviewing applicants' right to work status. Customer services are always quick to respond, provide detailed explanations and make the whole process a lot more straightforward!
Would highly recommend to any companies or HR departments looking for accurate software to ensure that they are complying with Right to Work legislation.

I have had an absolute amazing experience with TrustID from the sales team to the customer service team. They are very efficient with my needs. So I've spent roughly about 6 hours trying to sort this out over the last 2 weeks. First of all it was the link from Gmail so I had to copy into Chrome to fix it the error, and now the new error is it won't take proof of my address and it keeps failing not even getting it to pop up so I can upload it
what is the surprising in though Is people making out This is the first time they've come across this but they do it as a day job... And again it's failed. What a joke
"Please use your mobile to verify your identity – it’s much faster" - Much faster than refusing to let me do it literally any other way?
Then the button to upload the image of my documents just... doesn't work for 30-60 seconds, and then it does, for no apparent reason.
Then I get sent back to the beginning for, again, no apparent reason.
Then, having laboured to upload my documents, the next "check could not be initialized" - again, with no explanation. Is it my device? My internet connection? My documents? Your servers?
Utterly, infuriatingly useless.
