I signed up for the Truthfinder app thing I was going to see all sorts of information. I did not like it and After about twenty minutes of frustrating issues, like g asked for my password repeatedly and getting the go around over and over I cancelled my subscription. Then come the Trustpilot reviews. Because Truthfinder didn’t like that I found there service to be useless and getting the go around over and over again the send out an email saying I could re write my review. My review did not change. I cancelled the account. They charged me $28. + for useless app. And the fact they kept asking for me to pay additional charges for other reports. Reports that would incur additional charges each month. This app is just a scam someone is making money on. It is junk.

I had a very frustrating experience…
I had a very frustrating experience with TruthFinder. I used the service one time to look up a person, and somehow ended up enrolled in a monthly subscription without realizing it. I specifically remember being cautious about this and did not intend to sign up for anything recurring.
What’s worse is that they do not send any monthly invoices, reminders, or clear notifications that you are being billed. They simply charge your account every month without communication, which makes it very easy to miss.
When I finally noticed the charges and called customer service, they refused to refund the past charges. The only thing they offered was a refund for a future billing cycle, which made no sense since I was canceling immediately.
This felt extremely misleading and left me with the impression that their business model relies on customers not noticing ongoing charges. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before using this service.

Glad I tried it!
Cost was manageable, results were fast. Not entirely thorough, however, as employment data was spotty. And I didn't like that I had to pay extra to download the report. If I'd known, I'd simply have screenshot each page.
When I called to cancel and ask about the charges, my service from Nick (Nicholas) was really excellent. I expected an upsell effort and was really glad I didn't have to deal with that. Good job, Nick! I'll remember Truthfinders.
